Thanks for the straightforward tutorial. I just bought my jeep. First, it was the ducks. I didn’t know about duck, duck, jeep. So I bought rubber ducks right away. Nobody has given me any ducks yet, but at least my jeep is duck-containing. Now, the slightly more important matter of brake lights is calling to me. I knew that someone on RUclips would come through, and you did. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! I was just pulled over for my break light being out and I didn't want to go to a mechanic and have them charge me for something I can do myself. ❤
Mark, Very helpful, in fact, I change the right brake light on my JEEP this morning it took me 15 minutes. Breakdown of tools required was very helpful.
Yo thanks man took me five minutes your tutorial was amazing I just got a little bit lost when I had to put it back but I figured out .. very simple Thanks !!🎉
Off topic but my 2010 is worst 4wd I've owned the traction control sucks worthless in snow that deeper than the frame and that low damn front bumper is something else..nice job engineer!!!
This helped me but I took out the thing that holds the light a little to hard and broke my reverse light 😂 at least I know how to fix that now too, thank you !
Great video. Good to know that you need just the right amount of muscle to pull out the housing and to line it back up to make it pop back into place :-) Thanks,
Douse the screw in WD40 or PB BLASTER. Let it soak for 10 min then repeat. Then see if you can use needle nosed pliers to untwist the screw. There should be enough metal to grab hold of
Hey Mark do you know how to properly remove the taillight circuit board I need to replace it because one of my bulbs burnt out and melted the circuit board housing. I'd appreciate the response great video by the way.@@marksickmiller

Did it work?
Very well organized, comprehensive, and right to the point video.
Thank You Mark
Good video one thing though wear rubber gloves when touching new bulb
Any finger prints will significantly reduce life of bulb

great video, thanks for the help!
Thanks!
Thank you. Not supposed to touch the bulb bare handed tho. Thanks again
Yeah, so I've been told.... after I made the video. I'll wear gloves from now on
Wonder why they made it do difficult to change out? Why need a special bolt?
Thanks for this. Every step feels like you’re going to break something. Who designed this monstrosity? Very helpful to follow along.
Haha. It reminds me of a Fisher Price toy
Thank you
You're welcome!
Wear gloves. Some bulbs are halogen which will bust if oils are on tye bulb
Great video
Pretty simple thank you 👍🏼
Thanks a lot man ❤
Thank you very much for video!!
You are welcome! Happy Jeeping
Great video. I'm gonna fix the wives blown bulb on her 08 using this information.

Very helpful. Thank you
You're welcome! Glad I could help.
Thanks dude
Thank you so very much.
Should you happen to know what size bolts are needed to replace the ones for the T20?
Gloves but thanks for the vid
Yeah, gloves are best I suppose. I think if I get my fingers dirty enough they have a protective coating. You're welcome!
@@marksickmiller I feel the exact same way 😆
Thanks so much Mark
My pleasure, light bulbs are my passion
What do you call the black piece that the 3 bulbs sit in...how do I replace that black piece as the light doesn't work but the bulb is fine
My son has 2010 jeep liberty, was hit in back left taillight cracked, all bulbs work but brake light won't work, what could it be
One screw came out perfectly but the other was stripped and won't come out. Any advice?
Douse the screw in WD40 or PB BLASTER. Let it soak for 10 min then repeat. Then see if you can use needle nosed pliers to untwist the screw. There should be enough metal to grab hold of
I've changed the balb but it doesn't eliminate could it be the socket the balbe goes into?
How often should I expect to change my brake lights?
Just whenever they burn out, every few years. I check mine every oil change.
Thank you so much!
You're so welcome!
Thank you🙂
But how does one disconnect the circuit board from the wiring harness? I can't find any push clips on the connector.
Hi, you don't need to disconnect the wiring harness in order to change the light bulbs.
Hey Mark do you know how to properly remove the taillight circuit board I need to replace it because one of my bulbs burnt out and melted the circuit board housing. I'd appreciate the response great video by the way.@@marksickmiller
What is that piece that holds all the lights?
WHEN YOU REPLACE THE BULB IT CAN GO IN EITHER WAY 180* TURNED AROUND WHICH IS THE RIGHT WAY?
Rondo Schiavoni either way
THANKS MARK
worked great thanks for your video.
Both my bulbs went out on the way to my e-check. 🤷🏻♂️
Nice video. Thanks. Anybody doing might want to try to avoid getting oils from fingers on to bulb. Maybe wear some kind of gloves.
Yeah, agree. In my defense my fingers were so dirty I'm not sure any skin oils could get through!
Thanks, from Chihuahua
Thanks..
Yep!
thanks
Thank you
Thanks
