    Good video one thing though wear rubber gloves when touching new bulb
    Any finger prints will significantly reduce life of bulb

    Thanks for the straightforward tutorial. I just bought my jeep. First, it was the ducks. I didn’t know about duck, duck, jeep. So I bought rubber ducks right away. Nobody has given me any ducks yet, but at least my jeep is duck-containing. Now, the slightly more important matter of brake lights is calling to me. I knew that someone on RUclips would come through, and you did. Thanks again.

    Mark, Very helpful, in fact, I change the right brake light on my JEEP this morning it took me 15 minutes. Breakdown of tools required was very helpful.

    Off topic but my 2010 is worst 4wd I've owned the traction control sucks worthless in snow that deeper than the frame and that low damn front bumper is something else..nice job engineer!!!

    This helped me but I took out the thing that holds the light a little to hard and broke my reverse light 😂 at least I know how to fix that now too, thank you !

    Wear gloves. Some bulbs are halogen which will bust if oils are on tye bulb

      Yeah, gloves are best I suppose. I think if I get my fingers dirty enough they have a protective coating. You're welcome!

    One screw came out perfectly but the other was stripped and won't come out. Any advice?

      Douse the screw in WD40 or PB BLASTER. Let it soak for 10 min then repeat. Then see if you can use needle nosed pliers to untwist the screw. There should be enough metal to grab hold of

    How often should I expect to change my brake lights?

      Just whenever they burn out, every few years. I check mine every oil change.

    But how does one disconnect the circuit board from the wiring harness? I can't find any push clips on the connector.

      Hi, you don't need to disconnect the wiring harness in order to change the light bulbs.

      Hey Mark do you know how to properly remove the taillight circuit board I need to replace it because one of my bulbs burnt out and melted the circuit board housing. I'd appreciate the response great video by the way.​@@marksickmiller

    Nice video. Thanks. Anybody doing might want to try to avoid getting oils from fingers on to bulb. Maybe wear some kind of gloves.

      Yeah, agree. In my defense my fingers were so dirty I'm not sure any skin oils could get through!
