Reminds me 13 years back when i installed one of my type r. My advice to you is just don't go tbru any puddles mate or in alot if rain as this thing sucks up water like anything, just imagine a hoover down there will collect all the shit. Good lick with it.
Yea that is the downside to this intake but the hydro shield is water repellent so water should bounce off it, but yea if its in a puddle it will suck up water 😂😂
Thanks for the video Sully 👍🏻, very useful information. I have a question, im installing this CAI to a Skunk2 inlet (similar to RBC) does the angle of the RBC connection affect the fitment of the Injen CAI?
It does make it a tighter squeeze but as the injen has that silicone pipe right off the manifold you have a bit more play with it. I haven't had any ratting and it hasn't come off at any point 👍👍
@@UnluckySully Ok thanks for the reply. Im going to be using a Tegiwa 70mm throttle body so i hope it will still fit otherwise i might need a different silicone elbow. I also have a Tegiwa clearence hose for the radiator so should help with the tight squeeze
The Injen intake is one of the best intakes you can buy for the EP3. Very noticeable power gains in the higher rpm’s and a meaty induction roar.
It is, and it all came out in the dyno for me. Was very happy with the intake
@@UnluckySully love your work mate
Just bought a short ram injen , I live in the U S. So I have the ep3 si. Loving the car. Thanks to you brother!
Ahh cheers man, glad you got it. Hope your loving the intake

@@amsingh3041 😂😂 Looks like I need to stay well away from puddles then
Bad luck man. I’ve never had issues with mine using a hydroshield, even in the pouring rain.

@@kristianharley7231 the silicone pipe should fit fine as there is room for it to be stretched 👍👍 good luck fitting it 😁
does this have wheel spacers or is this stock fitment
Has 20mm spacers all round
the question is, will the hose fitting a 70 mm throttle body too?
I don't see why they wouldn't as its rubber hose so it should flex
Have a part number or model number for this one? Cheers
Hi, sorry I dont. If you search for "Injen Cold air intake ep3 type r" they should all fit
hı how size is the pipe
