Dude, seems like nobody pays attention or knows this but Joe offered Saquon bags, at the bye week in 2022, and gave him a JT contract but saquon didn't like the guaranteed money, then before he got tagged they worked with his agents for hours before the deadline tag and offered him then 12million over 3 to 4 years 19- 21million guaranteed and it was declined, then they moved to get Danny deal done so they could tag saquon and that's what happened

I would have gladly given Saquon that 46 million over a course of three years and tagged Jones instead. But the Giants felt they had to give Daniel Jones that money and Saquon just couldn’t be given a total of 45 million dollars over three years

I'm happy for the guy that he got paid, not gonna criticize a guy for getting paid. But we all knew his contract was wayy too much for his production when he signed it. His best season you couldn't describe as more than " serviceable" or " Not bad ". His worst has been " God awful " " terrible " " can't win with that ". Draft a QB. Let Jones play this year and get his money, lose and get another high draft pick and cut Jones next season. Just what I would be thinking if I was a giants fan

I'd say draft another QB...Tyrod won't be in the NFL for much longer, and DJ might not have his rhythm back. First, they should get some OL players and then watch one of the drafted QBs and DJ battle it out for the starting QB position.
If it wasn’t for his contract I’d say keep him, but it’s likely they’d both benefit from a change of scenery, can’t blame everything on Jones as the Giants have been running around barefoot for like 6 years

at his best, daniel jones produced zero offense without turnovers. most of the time, he produced zero offense and turned the ball over a lot. the entire daniel jones career, between drafting him pick six to paying him the buckets of money, makes zero sense to anyone other than the giants

Not really, the contract is for one more year and they have an out at the 3rd & 4th year (both team options). So they could go for an QB, WR, OT or what is the next best thing. So they can go either way with this without getting hurt too much.

No they should not move on from Daniel jones. He is the investment, coached by the mannings. It’s up to jones to elevate his game, he has all of talent in the world and I seen him display it. Giants chose jones over Barkley. Go out there and win with your franchise player.
Build around him. Maximize his strengths, build around his weaknesses…. It’s a team game Barkley has shown you if the greatest player since Adrain Peterson is on jones team he can do it. He can win with star talent around him. That team with Odell on his max extension, Barkley on the rookie deal trying to prove himself and jones as our guy for comfort was thrown out the window by Dave gellerman
