I have bought a lot of fishing gear and a lot of soft plastics. Thanks for being truthful and no BS. I like your explanation on your unboxings. Thanks

Debo flukes are so versatile. You can rig it any way you want. If you accidentally put on too small of a hook you can always rig it upside down so hook point is in the belly slot. Better hook up that way. I was using too small of a hook and was getting slammed but lots of misses. I put hook in upside down and definitely made a difference.
I still have a ton of the Yamamoto double tail grubs that are just like the skirted grubs from when i lived in Michigan. I used to rig those on the clear rubber headed thing you showed and absolutely crushed largemouth and smallies on the Grand River
Cool unboxing vid. Just picked up some Berkley bearded crazy legs chigger craws from Bass Pro which were on clearance. Never used them before, so would like to see how you fish the skirted grubs
Love the vids my dads favorite color has been tequila sunrise for the longest time. He also got me into fishing and thanks for the best info on fishing here in the midwest.
Thanks Debo. Have you tried the Yamamoto D-Shad? It's a heavier fluke style/soft plastic jerk bait. What's different is that you can fish it like a jerk bait but it will also sink on the pause and shimmy with a level fall like the Senko. I fish it weightless T-rig on an Owner twistlock 3/0 or 4/0
I am pumped to see you have the trd bugz. I have been trying to find them local before i buy online. But i think im gonna have to go online. But im sure thay would make a great jig trailer an texas rig round wood. Caint wait to see them in action.
Another great video Debo. You always have great unboxings. Have you thought about picking up one of those Favorite Soleus reels? I should have one in tomorrow. And I’d love to see someone I watch throw the big 120 choppo for bass.
I have looked at those. I think there is a version two coming out so I'm waiting. I had a lot of success on the 120 choppo last year. Caught my largest fish of the year on it!
Hula sticks absolutely whoop em around here (SE Michigan). They're not always on, sometimes they prefer the TRD, but when they prefer the hula sticks they just slam em. The ticklers are little short hula sticks, and they like those too. If they're really chillin and don't want to go for it on a nice windy day, you can leave it on bottom and you get good action sort of like a baitfish tail kicking on bottom while he's eating I've just started using the Jackall Yammy fish for my Neds (1/6oz and up, so it stands a little better) and I freaking love them. They have em in a green pumpkin with a lighter colored tail, and I have had awesome luck on those little guys. They cast nicer than TRDs on smaller heads too. Love the vids man.
I also have an old package of the Chompers Grubs. In fact the garlic scent/juice leaked out of the bag and stunk up my entire soft plastic bag. I had to take that sleeve out. I might try those dock bangers. My hands might be smelling ripe after that outing.
You really have and still do put together the best unboxing gear videbo's.... Mr. Debo, enjoy your videos. I have had some pretty good luck neko rigging the 4.5 quiver. Actually going out to try the 6.5 today. And a bait you should try is the new drop shot bait from missile that has the same tail as the quiver. I used some and Texas rigged them and have never seen so much movement. Can imagine how much more if nose hooked. Look them up. Stay safe and God Bless.
I went out for a little bit a couple hours ago and lost one that was at least 4 pounds. I'm going to try a different spot this evening. Tight lines everyone.
I picked up some TRD in the bubble gut color. I've been getting more into the red too. Also got some TRD ticklerz. Going to try them out tomorrow. Got one pack in The Deal and man do they look good!! I even bought a new dedicated ned rig combo haha!! You created a monster! Also got some of the TRD craws I'm excited to try.
Definately yes on the Neko, caught my biggest bass yesterday on a Zman worm. Really curious to see how you do on all the red baits. Only used red on lipless cranks, and caught cold water bass. Keep up the great Videbo’s. 🎣🎣
I had my best luck with the ZinkerZ when neko riging, except the weight can be difficult to put in the elaztek. The solution is to heat it with a lighter then insert the nail weight.
Awesome tackle unboxing as always Debo. Always want to go out and buy some new baits and tackle after you do these videos. Those skirted grubs is the only thing that the bass will eat at my honey hole. I use these almost everyday. Pumpkin and dark blue are the juice all day. Thanks for the validation DEBO.
i am a og too and like watching u the hula stick is a great bait with many uses red will work all year not just spring.have a great day keep the vids coming.
The hullagrub isn't forgotten brother. We just don't talk about it. Theres a reason they still sell them. Lol. My favorite is from gary yamamoto. Worth the money. You mentioned the skinny dippers. My favorite way to use them is weightless. Burn it on the surface. It's like a wake bait. That's what they were ordered designed for was swimming over grass. I'll remind you to do it later this season. There was something else I was gonna say but 20 minutes later I forgot. Lol. Sweet unboxing tho!
i wanna see you do more top water videos of things you don’t usually thow! so no frogs lol i can’t wait to see if that hula works and if the red works , i too got some red kietechs and chatterbaits and never caught a thing on it
Hi Debo, I have a tip for the kinked soft plastics for you. When i run into this issue i drop the baits into pot of hot water and the baits will straighten right up.
Hello mr Debo about the fluke you want it jacked up because you want that erratic action out of it you don’t want it straight that’s why I put mine in a small plastic bag so that it can’t lie straight and gets a bend in it. Give it a try also use a barrel swivel so you don’t get line twist. Give it a try I think you’ll like it
I know how it is Debo, haven't had much luck either lately so I took some of my time and thoroughly cleaned one of my baitcasters thanks to your videos (definitely helped). I would like to see some fluke videos I've never got into them or know how and maybe some chatterbait making videos.
The kink in the flukes doesn’t matter that thing still has great action and the fish love it still. And I also use a 1/4 oz weight and a 1/0 VMC flipping hook on those trd bugs and it’s fantastic for finicky fish. Tight lines brother...keep up the awesome vids man.
bait wallets are amazing I don't use them on my rods instead, I prefer to use them to keep any baits with exposed hooks in my pocket and it lets me turn my bottle holders on my tackle warehouse backpack into more storage for my favorites that I use often.
Hula grubs are one of my favorites. Hard to find in a lot of tackle shops though. I am interested in seeing the productivity of the red swim baits. I got some a while back and just truthfully never had a chance to really use them yet.
The flashy swimmer caught last years pb. They also drew a bite for me in highly pressured water when it was hot as crap last year. That been said you’ll probably have bad luck with them 😆. Also I used the silver willow blade not the bronze Colorado blade.
Out in my area, the zoom grape trick worm is my go to(but found out its discontinued), spent 2 hours yesterday on a drop shot(my fish finder) with a green pumpkin and then with a kinda watermelon red flake worm, not a single bit. Then I put on that grape and bam next cast got one, it's like the 5th time that's happened.i always kill it with the grape, I have never caught in black and blue and I have some pretty muddy reservoirs and ponds out here.
when your soft plastics are bent, get one of those little plano waterproof 3400, put a single color of the bent baits in it and lay them as flat as you can. spray with reelsnot or some sort of line/lure lubricant (I found garlic reelsnot works the best) and leave it in the sun while you're fishing. the baits get warm and will relax and a lot of times they will take the natural shape
Debo you keep buying new things and then I want to buy them to try and steal some of the Debo voodoo! I want to see you try and do a challenge again sometime. Absolutely love your 5 fish on the 5 beginner baits challenge video. Either way man, keep it up!
Hey Debo it would be cool to do a unboxing on nothing but clear water lures or maybe just a video of some clear water lures you have because I fishing clear water it’s it’s hard to get bites sometime!! Also been fishing at lake amistad here in Texas and for the most part where we been fishing it’s clear rocky bottoms!
Devon an idea for a future video you could do on repairing those old hula grubs is repairing them with some Mend it. The old ones you showed were originally put together with a type of super glue that was why they had hard spots in them. Just a thought. Feesh on.
Debo can you make a video on how you deal with ticks for this up coming summer, i went to scope out a new pond location today and had one on me and almost had a heart attack. I just recently moved from Florida to Ohio, so I'm use to having the luxury of having a fishing location near the side of my house (canals and lakes) no actual real woodland areas. Do you have any advice?
Good stuff, I tried some of those skirted tube grub thingies last year, the berkley power bait version. WOW were they stiff. Hardest soft plastic I've ever felt.
Best dropshot bait I have ever used is the berkley powerbait flat worm. I fish the great lakes/ St. Lawrence so I dropshot a lot. Last year at the bassmaster tournament near my house the top 3 anglers were sponsored by berkley and throwing this bait. So I tried them and can't put them down. Now I have a huge bag dream shot I don't use. Really worth a shot.
@@DEBOSFishing l like to use a swivel about 1 1/2 feet above the hook. Owner make some micro swivel that hold like 40 lbs but are so small you can even reel the through the guides on most rods.
I like Tactical Bassin and Debo vids before watching, I can just tell you both love this like I do. Keep the honest vids coming! Do you ever fish 9”+ glides?
Great stuff, got to get some under spins to try for sure.I already love swim baits. I also want to try those swamers! Thanks for the video Debo. Can I use a devil horse on my 13 fishing black fate rod? Its a 7 1 med heavy
Those tiny flukes are killer at some ponds I fish. I fish them on 0/1 gamakatsu wide gap hooks weightless on 10 lb high viz braid w/ 6lb flouro leader in that same baitfish color and i pretty much out fish everyone at the local holes. Sometimes even 30 or more fish a day.
@@DEBOSFishing you're gonna be happy ;) i felt like they ran a little small... like i needed a 7/0 for a big ez compared to a 5/0 typically. But the smoothness and shape of the weights and the impint make the swimbait hooks killer.
You should try the damiki armor shad. Just like the fluke but better quality and don’t have issues with bent tails. I have much better luck with them over the zoom.
A little of the topic, but when you did the distance test on the Spool Hi Speed bearings, did you use any reel braking or was it all thumb. I love all of your videos, well, almost all.

Those skirted grubs is the only thing that the bass will eat at my honey hole. I use these almost everyday. Pumpkin and dark blue are the juice all day. Thanks for the validation DEBO.
I used to throw them a lot...Haven't in some time! They will get munched!
i am a og too and like watching u the hula stick is a great bait with many uses red will work all year not just spring.have a great day keep the vids coming.
Nice! Hope I can find some on it!
Yeah, I haven't dont that for a while. Did it a few years back with the gambler EZ and it was great over grass!
I like my flukes to be kind of funky and bent. Makes the action more erratic. No need to boil and straighten them, they still kill when crooked.
That's good Because I'm not going to boil them...im throwing as is! 😂 #flukeproblems 🥴🤣
The x zone swammer is a phenomenal swim bait. Awesome on chatterbaits and weightless rigged
i wanna see you do more top water videos of things you don’t usually thow! so no frogs lol i can’t wait to see if that hula works and if the red works , i too got some red kietechs and chatterbaits and never caught a thing on it
WHAT? Get that no froggin business out of here! 🤣 I'll definitely be tossing more Topwater since that bite is finally picking up!
Hi Debo, I have a tip for the kinked soft plastics for you. When i run into this issue i drop the baits into pot of hot water and the baits will straighten right up.
Yeah, ive done that. Just don't want to have to do it for every bag of flukes I order 🤣
Hello mr Debo about the fluke you want it jacked up because you want that erratic action out of it you don’t want it straight that’s why I put mine in a small plastic bag so that it can’t lie straight and gets a bend in it. Give it a try also use a barrel swivel so you don’t get line twist. Give it a try I think you’ll like it
Nice! I'll definitely be throwing them kinked because I'm not boiling them 🤣
I know how it is Debo, haven't had much luck either lately so I took some of my time and thoroughly cleaned one of my baitcasters thanks to your videos (definitely helped). I would like to see some fluke videos I've never got into them or know how and maybe some chatterbait making videos.
Thanks man! I tossed the fluke a bit this weekend. Hope to throw it some more soon!
Good because I'm throwing these things as-is 🤣👊
Got the black cherry too but Big Bite makes swimon. Bright orange, made for chatterbaits.
bait wallets are amazing I don't use them on my rods instead, I prefer to use them to keep any baits with exposed hooks in my pocket and it lets me turn my bottle holders on my tackle warehouse backpack into more storage for my favorites that I use often.
Yeah! I do that with extras I have in my tackle bag. Also allows them to dry out so you don't put it back in the box wirh wet hooks!
Hula grubs are one of my favorites. Hard to find in a lot of tackle shops though.
I am interested in seeing the productivity of the red swim baits. I got some a while back and just truthfully never had a chance to really use them yet.
Those hula grubs were money. Im excited to toss them!
Just what you needed Debo, more stuff 😆
I was almost out!...err...well...yeah...I have a problem 🤣👊
DEBO'S Fishing it’s like having a drinking problem, “it’s not a problem, it’s the solution” 😉
I like the black cherry DYI chatterbait idea! And just so you know, my wife calls me Oldie Oldeson!
Hahaha we old. Oh well, we just go fishing and forget about it!
I'd say I'm most excited to see the fluke and dropshot mostly because I've just started dropshoting and I want to hear any tips you might have.
I'll get that out soon! Tossed the regular fluke this weekend!
Grubs are so underrated. Seems like baits come in waves. Caught so many good fish with grubs as a kid.
One of the best all around fish catchers!
Nice order man! Have you tried the Cal Coast Fishing Bait Sacks for your lures? I think you'd dig em man! Hope all is well brother! 👊💪
I saw you use them! I haven't tried them yet. Thanks for watching brother 👊
One of two OG tackle unboxers! You and tj81 need to do one together! Also, do a rod and reel arsenal man...
I'd love to do an unboxing with Jim. He's the ultimate tackle unboxings dude. Ahhh....the rod and reel arsenal...🤦♂️😂
The flashy swimmer caught last years pb. They also drew a bite for me in highly pressured water when it was hot as crap last year. That been said you’ll probably have bad luck with them 😆. Also I used the silver willow blade not the bronze Colorado blade.
Nah, I've had a ton of luck on the flashy swimmer. I was just re-upping my supply!
They are opening fishing here in Washington on may 5th!! Thank the lord!
Hope you find some biggins!
Definitely need some pf those scroungers
I'm excited to try the shallow version!
I love that black and grape purple color worm!
Great Video Debo!! Btw the Chatterbait is getting munched in my neck of the woods!
Nice! The chatter is fun as heck to throw!
when your soft plastics are bent, get one of those little plano waterproof 3400, put a single color of the bent baits in it and lay them as flat as you can. spray with reelsnot or some sort of line/lure lubricant (I found garlic reelsnot works the best) and leave it in the sun while you're fishing. the baits get warm and will relax and a lot of times they will take the natural shape
Nice! I like that approach!
Catch most of my walleye on kalins jerk minnows. I wonder how similar they are to the zoom flukes
Hmm...I don't know if I've ever used those. Ill have to check them out!
Debo you keep buying new things and then I want to buy them to try and steal some of the Debo voodoo! I want to see you try and do a challenge again sometime. Absolutely love your 5 fish on the 5 beginner baits challenge video. Either way man, keep it up!
I can definitely do something like that again soon! Thanks for watching 👊
I still use the chompers watermelon red flake sometimes just gotta give em something different👍
Nice! I like those chompers!
I sometimes struggle with really clear places too! I'll try to do a vid on what has worked for me!
I actually have a hulabug on a scrounger.. works good for smallies🤙🏼🤙🏼
Nice! Could be interesting rig around here...🤔
Devon an idea for a future video you could do on repairing those old hula grubs is repairing them with some Mend it. The old ones you showed were originally put together with a type of super glue that was why they had hard spots in them. Just a thought. Feesh on.
Interesting! Yeah, I've actually had a few ideas with mend it...like...creating my own lure...🤔
Ughh....I HATE ticks too! Long sleeves, pants, rubber boots, hat...spray off on your clothes!
Good stuff, I tried some of those skirted tube grub thingies last year, the berkley power bait version. WOW were they stiff. Hardest soft plastic I've ever felt.
Really! These are just like any other doft plastic. I need to throw them soon!
Nice! I'll look those up. I need all the help I can get in the drop shot department 🤣
@@DEBOSFishing l like to use a swivel about 1 1/2 feet above the hook. Owner make some micro swivel that hold like 40 lbs but are so small you can even reel the through the guides on most rods.
Debo let me tell you, my basic MTB was great this month! i liked all four items and got a lure that i never would have bought.
Nice! Always fun trying new stuff!
I like Tactical Bassin and Debo vids before watching, I can just tell you both love this like I do. Keep the honest vids coming! Do you ever fish 9”+ glides?
That means more to me than you know man. No, I'm a noob with the glide baits. I've got some 7 and 8" I'm throwing.
Great stuff, got to get some under spins to try for sure.I already love swim baits. I also want to try those swamers! Thanks for the video Debo. Can I use a devil horse on my 13 fishing black fate rod? Its a 7 1 med heavy
Yeah, underspins are money around here. Sure, as long as the hooks are stout. I'd use mono for the stretch.
Damn! OK, I'll have to give that a try!
All hayabusa hooks are killer. Great secret and very affordable
They seem to be good. I'll see how these do!
Nice! I'll have to check those out!
I saw a Lews Custom Lite!
Oh huh...that...🤫 Hahah hope you're doing well man!
Great video bro and you will love those NED ZONES
Nice! I'm excited to throw them!
Hey Debo. A little off topic but I wanted your opinion on rigging a spinnerbait. Do you prefer a soft plastic trailer, or a trailer hook?
It depends on the size and skirt. Smaller spinners I like a small trailer. The bigger spinners that have the bigger skirt, i go trailer.
DEBO'S Fishing bigger skirt, use a trailer hook?
@@robertbain2435 yeah bigger/longer blades or and longer skirt, I go trailer hook.
Super bug from Missle baits is one of my favorite colors
I love the Dirty Jigs.
I've become quite attached too!
A little of the topic, but when you did the distance test on the Spool Hi Speed bearings, did you use any reel braking or was it all thumb. I love all of your videos, well, almost all.
No, I used reel brakes just like I normally would. Tried to get it with max distance.
@@DEBOSFishing Thanks, I am amazed you can get that distance.
The missile baits quiver 4.5 might look good on a ned rig too just my thoughts
Yeah, im going to try that too!
