After watching published video, noticed Lake Constance Trail takes a zig-zag at first switch back which is almost level and only 75 feet from Constance Creek, with easy access. There are two spots, one in front of pair of burned snags (11:50) and one behind them (12:20). Once I pass the snags, I am standing on level ground panning 360 degrees saying "I don't see anything level.". (Duh!?) Could this explain why LCT is where it is, that it originally was trail ending at cabin at that zig-zag?
Thanks for going the rest of the way up to look. I will have more dialed-in intel before the next “reconnaissance mission.” I do know it was a small cabin - I’ll see if I can track down the dimensions.
