Always on duty...2017 F350 super duty xlt 6.7L power stroke scorpion diesel reporting at 73,500 miles and counting...it hauls a 32 feet rv trailer all the time in the Nevada desert...thank you men and women at ford Kentucky plant for a fine product.

I got a 20 Explorer and a 20 F150 last year. It’s fun getting to see how they built them both.

@@charliehicks5676 Yes it has. It lost all the electronics after an auto update and had to get updated at the dealer for everything to come back alive. It currently has a dead backup camera and it’s going in tomorrow for broken drivers side window switches. It has a little over 4,000 miles. Lots of problems but my wife likes the vehicle itself.

Ford switching to aluminum bodied pickup trucks a few years ago was really brave move. Never checked if it has hurt their sales share. Ford pickups have a cult following, so probably not.

From my experience working at a Japanese car manufacturer in America, things are done more differently at Ford. I also seen workers wearing headphones while they work, which is a big no no for us. Even tho things are done a lot differently between the two, the equipment we use is pretty similar to what you see in this video.
The head phones are hearing protection you use plugs but some people cannot handle them in their ears so noise cancelling head phones are used
@@rons4778 I understand that they might be used for hearing protection but at some points of the video you see them wearing their wireless earbuds with only one plugged in. They don’t serve much hearing protection especially if the volume of the music is turned all the way up. Not to mention that hanging headphone could get caught on equipment or could scratch a car if they are working close enough to the vehicles body.
Ford's latest rules allow 1 ear bud, the other ear must remain open or have ear plug.
I'm a cnc machining manufacturer, I make product for all sorts of companies it's the higher end heads that want more money and us to suffer to make product faster cheaper less quality checks because it's a sellers market
