Hard agree, whenever the new bosses drop id always come here for best counters. I personally battle them for the mark and the perfect ivs, so the starters being in the wild doesnt really matter to me!

It's an ice type empoleon, should be pretty easy to counter with any good steel or fighting type

I also liked them because sometimes I wouldn't know about a raid until I saw his video or someone discussed the raid online, so it was helpful in that respect as well.
Yeah, sometimes I can build my own Pokémon for raids based on type effectiveness (I used tera poison swords dance gunk shot Grafaiai to take out tera fairy Flutter Mane), but it's nice to see other people's ideas, especially for the more difficult mightiest mark raids.

I definitely would like the Mightiest Mark videos! I enjoy the event raids and always enjoy seeing what the optimal way to get the Pokemon is.
I honestly would love for him to try and make some videos about how to defeat it in unconventional ways to get the “you defeated a mightiest mark!” Mark on different mons.
Same. I don't usually play games unless theres a notification about a specific one thats coming up since I don't have the time to keep up with these things. so having someone bring news about which ones are coming up helps me greatly.

Since it’s a second channel, there should be a play on the number 2. I like what you did with “also” but I think a better name would be Austin John Plays Too
The way you cover mightest mark raids has always been my favorite! Especially with the simple layout of the mons moves at the beginning, shield up, stat resets etc, and the turn by turn usage of your strat.
All these little things to make it easier to understand are only done by you and have been sorely missed these last few raids
They fixed the smeargle glitch too, it won’t use transform in the wild

If that’s how they fixed it, it makes me wonder if you could do it with Ditto in Paldea. Ditto is a lot rarer and less consistent on an already inconsistent glitch, so I could see it flying under the radar all this time.
@piratebear3126 ditto and transform isn't the glitch. Sketch is the glitch so no.

I feel many of us would still greatly appreciate Mighiest Mark raid videos. Im decent at making raid mons but struggle a lot with the specific builds for raids like these and your guides helped a lot with them!!
I really enjoy the Mightiest Mark Raid videos! They were a fun place for people to come together and talk about strategies they've come up with, share other ideas, or give tweaks to whatever plan you worked on! I especially liked the follow-up video for the second round where you'd share the best strategy since, by then, people would have worked out a solid plan.

You covering the mightiest mark videos really helped me out whenever trying to figure out what strat to use against it and to see what the best way to complete it is (like if you can cheese it). I know this information can easily be found online but imo it helps having a video on it

Recently grabbed Pokemon Scarlet back from the shelf and have been struggling to beat the mightiest. Would love a guide! Haunting for a shiny pokemon to beat the mightiest is what keeps it interesting.
I’m kinda surprised they still don’t have a way to mass release Pokemon in this game :p
They do, it’s an easy feature I utilize in Pokémon Home.

@@n8kel just think of it as a safety feature.
Also, there isn’t a need for mass release ingame usually, just reset the game if you’re breeding.
If you’re organizing your pc boxes because you’re questing and need to get rid of bunch, just log into Home and everything is a breeze.
@@Amplifymagic I mean they’ve had them in every game up until this point. Just another way for them to make money by getting people to use Pokemon Home then

02:53 - Welp you pretty much answered your own question, it's most likely due to the online competition. Also I've seen patch notes for other games that had shorter quantity of notes but clearly way more complicated in terms of the actual fixes. And of course, by default any patch can lead accidently to another bug. Considering all of these, it makes sense why it took this long.

The delay was probably the duplication needed to be patched.
Only Wild Smeargle now can't use Transform.

The thing that I really liked about your mightiest mark videos was you would break down specifically when they would raise shield or when they would use special attacks or when they would raise or lower stats and that was super helpful for several of those mightiest mark raids and a lot of the other pokémon RUclipsrs that I see come up with mightiest mark videos don't do that.
While I agree because we have all starters now the mightiest mark has starters is kind of boring but you absolutely had the best videos for those
The mightiest mark videos were so informative!! I loved seeing your strategies and builds. For me they're still really fun to grind for exp candy and other items.
I really like the mightiest mark videos because I find these ones more special than just a random one you could catch or import.
So, no performance fixes? Cool. The main issue remains unaddressed it seems. Kinda wish they'd fix the choppiness in the game and occasional 5 second freezes when in the Savannah Biome of the Terarium. Good that bugs are being addressed, but, yet they're running at a lower frame rate than Sonic '06 and that is incredible considering I've never played Sonic '06.
I liked getting your input for Pokémon during for the mightiest mark raids. It also was a good reminder for me to do them lol

I really would love it if you would continue to cover the Mightest Mark Pokemon. Your videos tend to be so much easier to gleam the best build ideas to face these Pokemon versus trying to go through comments on Twitter or Reddit to find builds. I know it can be a drag for you to do so, but I think most of us really appreciate the coverage you do and would love to see them continue!

Well see the neat part is that there was an update to boost performance where they removed some non essential NPC's and wild mons to decrease the workload...
Then everyone reported that the game was running even worse, AND this is when the save file corruption bug reared its ugly head.
$60 game from the largest media franchise in the world everybody!

Me and many were spot on when we said they weren't gonna be any. I don't blame you for being hopeful, but next time do not trust Gamefreak when fixing their game. Proof of that is this very patch
@@Luxocell it's downright depressing tbh. Don't get me wrong they couldn't just "fix it" without pulling an ark and just remaking it ground up cause the world is just that flawed, but the fact that they can so easily update/fix duplication bugs that HELP players, but can't even stabilize the game's performance, is just some of the highest levels of incompetence and hatred towards your own community.

I only got "Pokemon Scarlet" as recently as Christmas, and I did rush through the story so I could go for the 5 star Walking Wake Tera Raid. All while barely using sandwiches. Only 1 or 2 focusing on boosting the encounter rate for certain hard to find captures. And as a veritable novice with the feature, I have questions.
1. Is there a way to preview collected recipes outside of the sandwich making menus?
2. Is there a way to sort the recipes by meal powers or type as opposed to just the default list?
