- QA1's Dave Kass was looking for the truck he always wanted, a Chevy c10. He found a long bed that quickly turned into an R&D vehicle for QA1's 63-72 c10 suspension systems and from there it went from an old farm truck to an apex predator. Check out this video for all the details on this awesome restomod!

Great job ! Love QA1 and the Long Bed !
Thank you! We appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed the video!
This thing is so cool! Loved seeing Dave slide this thing around on the dirt roads on Overcrest Rally!
Haha sounds about right! It's a great build!
I am slowly getting my 71 C10 Step Side out fitted with QA1 front and rear.
My truck was a factory leaf spring truck and that added a bunch of work to get the frame ready to accept the new components.
Also going to try to ream the factory spindles to accept the QA1 lower ball joint.
Nice! The work getting the QA1 systems installed is worth it! Once you have the old components out, our bolt-in system should be a lot easier to install. Never hesitate to call our tech team if you need assistance or have any questions! 952-985-5675
Super nice and love the longbed!
Thank you! We appreciate it.
LONG LIVE THE LONG BEDS!
I know everyone likes the short bed but the long bed looks way better
We agree!
Does your truck have heat? Your hoses go directly into the fire wall? Did you take anything out for the heater core
What steering rack kit is on that factory k member? Have your complete front and rear kit and wanting to go with a power rack. Hoping you guys do a front k member for the 73-87 c10s soon
This truck has a No Limit Rack and pinion on it. Thanks!
I’ll be that guy. What wheel setup are you running on the green truck in the video? Using you’re full system including steering on a 70 c10. Planning on a 5/7 drop using 2” drop spindles and your coilover kit
What size wheels and tire size you have?
My question is do you enjoy the c10 long bed more or the f100 long bed??
That's great a question! We enjoy them both equally, but some people in the company may be more biased to one or the other. 😂
I have a 1970 Chevy C10 I’m tryna trade!
So does the rear suspension kit for short bed fit the long bed? Can't seem to find the long bed option on the website.
Same part numbers!
@@QA1TECH thank you so much
How are you controlling the 4l60 transmission?
Fitech Go Shift computer
How long is that driveshaft? And it’s for sale, correct?
We do offer custom driveshafts which is what was done for this C10. www.qa1.net/custom-driveshafts
@@QA1TECH Were you able to keep the factory rear control arm crossmember with this driveshaft? Any contact issues with it and the driveshaft throughout rear axle travel?
@@matt_1969ChevyC1o The OEM truck arm crossmember is still in the truck. No issues!
@qa1 I need a 70in long shaft for my 69 leb C10. Is that too long?
@@matt_1969ChevyC1o We currently are only able to wind and balance up to 65"
