Lou Gramm is a hero to me ...... I have all his albums, he was one of the best of his times.
Lou Gramm is a legend.
Way tto go lu😅
@kenperkins7921 Lou Gramm is a legend. Can't say enough about how great he is but a metal singer?
My idol. The best vocalist all the time!
Lou Gramm's iconic vocals defined Foreigner. He deserves this so much. The Metal guys know all too well Lou's skill level. He sings some challenging songs. Check out Lou's vocal with Shadow King called "I want you." Me, I keep hoping he might teach one day. Man, what we could learn from him!
Awww, Neil was all starstruck ☺ Lou so deserves this honour and clearly is gratified that he got it as himself, not as part of any band. Keep rockin' Lou!!!
Hell Yeah. Just tonite before i saw this I was watching old Foreigner shows from early 80's. Classic rock best vocalist ever!! Love Lou Gramm! He could belt it out with the Best of them. Headknocker, Dirty White Boy, Double Vision, etc etc.
Sweet! Lou is a God! Looking for those road dates!
My Uncle lived in Rochester NY it was my 11th birthday we lived in California. He purchased Lou Black Sheep album giving it to me. I have followed Lou all these years. I’m still loving his music. We ❤love you Lou 🥰🎶💕🎵💕
Love the interview. I listen to Lou singing almost every day from Black Sheep, Foreigner, Shadow King and his solo CDs. He has the greatest voice! I hope to see him live in the future.
I wonder if Lou would talk to the guys and see about put Shadow King back together and do some shows. They only ever did one love show and disbanded shortly there after. I know fans would love to see them again and hear that killer album live again.
@@jefffaust89 I doubt it. When Lou performs these days, it is pretty much the same "hit" songs. I don't "think" his voice can do many of the songs that he previously sang due to his aging voice and symptoms left after the surgery for the brain tumor. With that being said, I loved seeing him in the recent past, hope to see him again, and think he had one of the best voices ever.
I was there, I actually watched them do this interview from the bar in the Hotel :) Lou later signed 3 of his albums for me.
What an absolute LEGEND and ICON, Lou is! Definitely in my top 5 of the greatest singers of all time! My 5 y.o grandson absolutely loves him, too!
I liked the way the interview was conducted, honoring the musician and the history built. Congratulations!
Lou deserves a lot!!!
I’ve got both Black Sheep albums. Their fantastic and hats 🧢 off to the legend Lou Gramm.
Lou Gramm RULES!!!!!!!😃What an excellent singer🎤🎶👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Lou is the greatest 😊
Congratulations, Lou Gramm! Great voice, indeed! ♥
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU LOU GRAMM ON BEING INDUCTED INTO THE METAL HALL OF FAME .YOU DESERVE IT . I WILL ALWAYS LOVE LOU GRAMM FOREVER
Felicitations, bien mèrité, Lou Gramm le grand le original ❤❤❤❤
awesome ! a great guy!
legend
All respect to Lou Gramm I never thought of him as a “Metal “ lead singer??? Hard Rock maybe but Metal??? Even he’s stunned from the interview
Love the way Lou is so down to earth and he really seems to speak his truth. Just wish he'd come to New Zealand. Id love to hear him perform some Foreigner songs, but regrettably all we got was the Foreigner tribute band with that Kelly dude as the lead singer.
Lou Gramm ❤God bless you
Very cool interview. Thanks for that.
Great can’t wait for new Lou.
Love you Lou! Saw you last August at the Arcada. Great show you rocked it. I love that you still meet and greet your fans. Looking forward to the new material and hope to see you in concert again soon.
❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
What’s all this argument against Lou Gramm being inducted into the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame? Aim your gripes at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for inducting hip hop, rap and pop performers instead.
😄👍
Lou Gramm is one of my fave rock vocalists of all time... But inducted into the *Metal* hall of fame? Seriously? Even he says he didn't understand it in this video
Their name is actually Metal and Rock Hall of Fame, so that's ok.
SHADOW KING I would consider that album border line HARD ROCK/HEAVY METAL more hard edged than Foreigner or Black Sheep.
The interviewer is rude.
He comes off like an idiot.
Intro is longest than interview...
Halls of fame are so antithetical to Rock, let alone Metal
Lou Gramm, metal? I don't think so! 🤣
Shiiiiit, listen to agent provacator and then decide, after listening to let's say Poison
Don't know much about Lou Gramm do ya? LMAO!
@@thomasmartin1588 Agent Provocateur is one of my fave AOR/Melodic Rock albums of all time...its not remotely Heavy Metal tho 😉
@LuchaLibertaria other than (yesterday), that album is heavier than albums by poison and motley crue and they are considered metal
@@thomasmartin1588 'That was Yesterday' is not the only ballad on that album. It includes 'I Want to know what Love is' prob their most famous song ever. Its a Melodic Rock/AOR album, half of the songs are ballads about relationships. Its not heavier than Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil or Too Fast for Love. Also Poison is not a Metal band, they are Glam Rock and they are not some milestone in heavy metal to measure the metal credibility of other bands.
If Foreigner is inducted into the *Metal* Hall of Fame, then other AOR bands like Toto, Air Supply and Journey should also be there 😃
