I remember when Riot just released free skins for events, Annieversary , The Arcane Skins, The captain skins for MF and GP. It should have been one of those cases, since they were honoring Faker.
I only play ahri, and my dad got me this skin without even letting me know. Got on my account and everything, thank God he got the 250 version or I would of cried. I'm not a good ahri and I rarely play it with people. But this is definitely one skin I could of gone without

For the price of this skin/bundle, approximately speaking based on my family's experience - you could decently feed a family of 3 adults for a whole month.

There are also some things on the skin that you can't see in spectate, for example i'm pretty sure that the ui changes when the player ults
Ιt's a beautiful skin. And Ahri is the sort of champion that wears skins well anyway. Nowhere near being worth 500$ obviously, but still very pretty. I'm glad you showed it to us.
The saddest part is, it legitimately took me 3 games to see this skin on the enemy team after it dropped. People are actually buying it, validating riot in doing this shit :(
Definitely a cool looking skin but definitely not worth $500.
In a vacuum, this skin would be to current ultimate skin standards, with 3 transformations, some special effects like the custom announcer and HUD elements. So I would gladly pay up to 50$ for it, which is still more than what Ultimate skins cost
The dumbed-down version of this skin, the Risen one? It's literally an epic skin bordering on the legendary tier, and again, simply for the sympathy for both the champion and Faker as a player I would pay the Legendary price, or even a bit higher.
But now letting the stinking atmosphere of the price tag into the discussion, this is just pathetic by Riot. Especially the FOMO bait of it being limited time, whereas if it wasn't I would consider saving some of the RP I've been getting over time anyway and then buying it afterwards. But here is basically a 2 weeks notice of the price followed by a one month buying window. That's just not enough time.
Also the bundling of this skin is simply disgusting. What if I don't care for the battle pass? What if I don't want the 100 lol BP boost but I want the signed stuff alone? That's just scammy tactics and they should be straight up illegal like they are in Brazil.
Oh, and BTW, they released HoL merch, and there is an Immortalised Legend Ahri Statue. And you know the best part? ITS CHEEPER THAN THE IN-GAME SKIN BUNDLE, AT JUST 300$ XD
There is no skin in any game which worth 500$.The game industry is going in a very dark path.

the $50 skin is better than this one tbh. imo its not honoring the player, its using him for commercial value which sucks. If this skin was $50 theyd probably make *more* money off of it cause it is a very decent skin, and as we see people are totally fine and want the current $50 skin, so people would buy it limited time or not. Problem is theyll probably see the failure and not blame it on their business practice and instead just say nobody wanted it so we give up. just make it not 500 dollars fr.

the skin looks nice, the base version is not ultimate tier quality but they charged it as an ultimate price, then ofc u get the ultimate features once u get the 300$ version
which is absurd, riots quality in ultimate skins have really dropped, i mean even look at soul fighter samira, it was a legendary tier skin marked up to ultimate,
but any harassment these skin buys get are deserved, any targeted shit that happens to them they deserve, in the long run this skin will damage league of legends
I am someone that bought the skin personally I'm a collector and looking at everything it was worth the purchase considering how much you get with it 3 skins, 5 chromas, 2 banners, 2 borders, tons of emotes, icons, and I believe 130 mythic essence I've played with it a couple times the skin is alright the unique announcer display and custom finishers on towers and kills are unique. One thing to note is this skin is considered a new tier of skin called Transcendant. I am not endorsing or encouraging people to buy the skin just giving my thought on the bundle itself that said while I did buy the skin I hope riot doesn't get over zealous with these type of bundles

Thats including everything. If you just want the skin, thats 500$. Baiting people with a lot of trash on top is worthless so it shouldn't count. Its not better than a Legendary nor a Mythic skin and custom finishers are in the game since the first urf, they just weren't used yet and will most likely be used in future skins as well. All in all this is a blatant cash grab and a disgrace to fakers legacy. I am extremely disappointed with riots decision and I won't spend another penny on league or any of riots games ever again, even if they fix this. I was a collector myself, but this was an eye opener for me. They will make sure to put creating skins as the top priority and will let everything else go to shits, its just not worth it.
@GodEmperorZenca I can respect that 100% I am a collector of all icons, wards chromas and the works so for me getting everything was ok with me it is not ok for many and I am also disappointed with riots decision to make the price so exorbitant and I will not purchase another thing of such value there were far far better ways to Celibrate fakers legacy I am not arguing that at all I bought it for thus reasons personally
1. I love faker as a player I have all his skins, I have his razor collaboration mouse, and some merchandise
2. I am a collector of all so all the bonus things were a plus for me hence why I warranted the purchase myself
3. I play ahri and to have a skin for her that's a celebration of faker despite how greedy it is
That being said I cannot say I would do this with any other players there are very few players that I would do such things for my hope is riot sees the backlash and for future hall of legends events they make these far more affordable for the general player that would actually like to obtain the skin or at the very least make them cycle through the mythic store or the loot pool
Anyone buying this skin is giving the green light to any video game company that this price point is absolutely fine. And i hate that there will be people out there that throw their money away for it.

Honestly let people buy what they want. If someone values a skin in 500$ it is okey. Maybe someone is a millionaire or something. You never know. Might someone is a collector of skins. I think that riot did a great job to let people have an option for an expensive skin. Some people want just to stand out and have a rich persona on social media… In any case I like it, I wouldn’t buy it because I can’t afford it, but I hope the people who have it will enjoy the game and the skin 🥰🥰
the fact that this skin costs more than what i spend on the game when i played it for years is just not ok.... i woudn't even say its better than spirit blossom let alone elementalist lux value. and far less 500.....

The problem here is that League is just but a game. An entertainment. It comes and go. I am sure that there will be another MoBA game that will top the charts and this LoL will lose its glory. I feel sorry for those who bought the skin. Just be simple. Play your best. Enjoy things that are free. I am not watching LCK anymore or any regions in general. honestly if they just made the skin the same price as an ultimate skin i guarantee that they would make more money and their would be this hatred from the community. Also Spirit Blossom is her best skin by far and is way better than this

This skin is for the rich people with millions in their pocket and like Ahri. And I'm fine with that. But I'll never buy it.
Don't play League anymore (Vanguard will not run on my system). Skin is a total ripoff. I find it funny as hell that everyone on the League subreddits seems to be agreeing to make sure nobody who goes out to buy this skin will get to enjoy it.

To answer your question in case you hadn't looked, no, you cannot get the Faker Ward in the shop, only whatever bundle thing it comes in.
Edit: Also at least so far into the game you've missed the fact that her kills are procing a visual effect.

I've tried it on pbe, the skin doesn't feel good lol. The q Is huge, the w just exists, the charm looks clonky. The border when you ult only exists in the final form, the first two forms doesn't have anything special. Dunno Its pretty, but i don't get why it's a new tier over ultimate.
It upgrades forms automatically to the next "tier" when earning a certain amount of gold, u can't choose
