I like your choice of tools! Only thing is, i do bring a 12v compressor with me in my car. Air suspension pump is also a good option cause most bikes have atleast air forks and theres really no other way to set pressures without it.
Another great and well made video! I run a home bike shop out of my basement, and my tried and true rule is just go through repairs untill you run into needing a tool, I've built up a pretty good collection so far. Recently got a brand new MTB and that finally made me jump to a torque wrench! Haha long overdue.
Couldn’t agree more! Downside to that approach is not having the tool when you first need it. Unfortunately, I’ve gotten all my tools because i was in the middle of a repair and didn’t have what I needed haha
@@TheShredShedMTB yup, it can be annoying to have to was a couple days for the Amazon order to come in. I've used my fair share of cheap knockoffs but they've all been replaced now with nicer stuff, 3 chain tools in and I finally bought a park tool one.
@@theshedMTB ahh gotcha! Ahuge upgrade to those, and still incredibly cheap, are the park tool levers I am using in this video. I have a link in the description!

great video for newbs or people looking to get into doing their own bike maintenance. i have quite a few of the same exact tools lol
There’s an endless list of specialty tools a home mechanic might need, but these are just what I find to be the most commonly used 👍🏼
I’m love your bike shop!
Thanks! Can’t wait to show you the new one I’m building soon! We moved recently and have a much bigger “shed” to work with 😜
next best tool is either youtube or a friend at a bike shop!
Haha yes for sure!
Love it!
Thank buddy 🤘🏼
I break plastic levers all the time! But atleast i dont scratch my rims! I always wondered what the hook was for.
What levers are you breaking?
@@TheShredShedMTB the cheap ones that come with Goodyear tubes! Some of my bikes still have tubes.

Just curious what bike stand you use?
