So amazing!! As always, great video!! But the fact that you got to share riding over 100 miles with your mom is incredible! Those are memories being made and you got to share that with us! Thank you! Awesome job!!
I loved this. The adventure of a 100 mile ride for the 1st time is so exciting. Then on top of that riding that route with our Mom is really cool. She seems very hyped which made it really fun to watch. Nice job on your 1st 100 miler.
Was a great time! 100 wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be… seems like I hit my peak level of pain and exhaustion around 75 miles and improved a bit as we got closer to the end.
Though I despise road/gravel riding, this was an awesome feat. Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure you've experienced, with your Mom. Congratulations on your accomplishment! From a fellow mtber in Canadian Lakes, MI.
Ha! I wouldn’t say I despise it, but man has my attitude towards it changed! After my daughter was born, it was a great way for her and I to get out and adventure and spent some time together while still getting a ride in. Now that she fits into the shotgun seat, those bonding moments are on the singletracks!
@@keithwood9709 I have the 2.0 combo and couldn’t be happier! It installs and removes so quickly. If I go for a ride without her, I usually just leave the bars attached and remove the seat.

Thanks! Yes, very fortunate to be able to share hobbies like this with family and have my mom willing to dedicate an entire day to this ride!
Thanks for the video, and allowing us to follow your journey!!
That's awesome you have a rad mom that's up for rides like that
For sure! Very fortunate to have parents like them 🤘🏼
I love road biking. 100 miles is a lot! the most I have done is 70 miles. very cool video man.
70 miles is a push! Honestly about that distance was the hardest to hit, after that the motivation of finishing the ride kept me going!

I did 50 miles on a mountain bike in the 1980s,some dirt roads and black top ,on a bridgestone MB1,miss that bike did some nice rides back then .
What a great day. A bit exhausting for me. Looking forward to mackinaw. !! Great accomplishment Calvin
Get those bike packing bags ready…
I just rode from midland to Baldwin (93 miles ) on my trike. When the rail trail turns to gravel after reed city it was rough.
That is amazing! I’ve always wanted to get into like bikepacking and long distance biking. I’ll have to see if my son wants to do one with me!

Which shotgun seat do you use? My wife and I have a boy who'll turn 2 in April and am checking into them.@@TheShredShedMTB

🤘🏼🤘🏼
Awesome! Hey have you posted the route you took anywhere?
I haven’t… I’ve had a few others ask about routes on other videos as well. They currently just live on my private strava account.
