Hello Kelly... Nice job working those Lobstah traps.!! That large one looks like a perfect dinner when your very hungry.!
In 1979 I worked in Montauk NY. I went down to the Perry Duryea's dock one morning. Their boat caught a lobster in a fishing net by mistake. They gave it to me since it was out of season. It weighed 13 pounds.!!!! I brought it to Gurney's Inn and had the head chef cook it and serve it in the staff kitchen. 12 of us employees scarfed on Lobstah, rice and veggies that evening.!!
Kelly, I have been watching you for the past few months and Gabe since the start of his channel. I want to complement you on what your channel has become. It is enjoyable to see not only the fishing/crabbing/lobstering but also the sites along the way with the trip, the history and sites along the way, the fun with your friends and then a good fishing story in the middle of it all. Great programing, I hope you continue this model. My teenage son and daughter join me every time you upload. Great inspiration for the younger group and a mix of travel, history and fun fishing. Good luck in the future.
Thank you so much! That’s the goal
@@IslandKey I am from California and truly enjoy watching and learning from you and MR.BLUE GABE!!
Come think of it her channel feels like a travel channel. Its very relaxing for me to watch after work.
Kelly, not only are you easy on the eyes but you are a hands on person and do an awesome job explaining what’s going on. Now on the boat I didn’t see Gabe much so I’m guessing he was hiding behind the camera. Just funnin’. Kelly deserves a good support partner.
Yeah friend
Kelly it's so cool to see you experience and enjoy something new, something that is so common to myself. Your channel is entertaining and refreshing! I am happy you had a great time up in the Nor East....
Thank you!
Kelly, your videos are entertaining and informative. Thank you.
i really love your videos, great camera work, fishing, and absolutely love the cook, eat, and comments portion at the end. great job.
Good evening Kelly, Blue Gabe and friends
That was one big lobster 🦞 nice ❤️
Glad y’all had a awesome time up yonder 😋
Take care always and be safe out there 🤠🇺🇸❤️ Love Y’all...
Hi from Cambodia
Kelly, thanks for a good video with really good information, not just a bunch of "beauty shots..."
I lived in the San Francisco Bay area while I was growing up and it's even different yet, in all it has to offer as far as fishing, beaches and local cuisine.
Lots of people I know from the Fla GA region (I'm currently in GA) agree... They thought they had it made for seafood, until they found S.F. Bay seafood. The deeper, colder waters produce some of the sweetest, best textured ocean produce you're ever going to have.
Don't misunderstand, I'm not knocking southeastern seafood, it's still really awesome. I'm just saying that if you don't make your way out west and give it a try, you're really missing something in your life. Particularly a restaurant on the wharf, Scoma's. Scoma's has been there for decades and is still a favorite for locals, yet is world famous.
Oh, one more thing.. Several of us watch and love your videos and attitude, you aren't just another empty head, working "cuteness" as the only thing you have to offer.
We appreciate that. So, to help you out, in appreciation... (everyone is poking me right now) There is no "X" in "especially" *chuckle*
Thanks for giving us something as a pleasant diversion from all the BS going on in the world and the media right now. There's too much seriousness, resentment and judgement (excluding grammar nazis ;D ) in the world right now.
Good luck in your travels, stay out of the line of fire (from Covid laden sneezes). 😆
Your captain was right "it always tastes better when you catch yourself "! Dont forget to feed Gabe, that way the camera wont shake. Stay safe! Safe travels!👍👍
Thank you for the new video Kelly!!
Thank you Gabe for being there to help her. you guys are about to go into time out for compliments
A joy to watch this young lady. Keep going Kelly.
Great job Kelly no one can ever say you pick on the small one keep up the good work can't wait for the next adventure
Dear Kelly, she surprises us again with another great video, which makes us feel the fun of fishing, by the way, we had forgotten to tell her, how divinely beautiful she looks with her hat, a great fisherwoman, we send her a lot of positive energy , blessings and take good care
always a thumbs up for you Kelly 😎👍
you are definitely the definition of
#SaltLife 🦈❤ stay warm stay amazing!
I really love this channel especially after a long day at work. The variety, change in locations and your hands-on approach makes each video very interesting. In some ways your channel feels like a travel channel with fishing and its great. Maybe one day I can go out there and do some deep sea fishing like you guys. Thanks for another awesome video and the frequent posts!
I really appreciated how knowledgeable and informative the Captain was...
Excellent guy
If he wasn't knowledgeable he would starve.
I love your videos Kelly! I really appreciate how you enjoy and handle all the animals. You are a wonderful person from where I stand. ❤👍

Everyone knows BLUE GABE is like one the best on youtube... Great seeing Kelly Young link up with one of the GREATEST ‼️
I think its the other way around. I dont like him or his brothers arrogants
See what i mean he said you wanna know what i did yesterday and captain said no But im sure your gonna tell me lol
Joseph Obrien..No offense To You But I'm Die Hard Fan To All The Brothers.."ALL".. THAT'S YOUR CHOICE THOUGH HAVE A NICE DAY
BlueGabe was the man, loved every second of having him on my boat with Kelly. I wish I could be part of more of his adventure!
Thank you for this video!! I watched it with my daughter this morning. She is homeschooled and is learning about the New England states. They discussed lobster traps, so I looked for a video about them. We came across your video, and she was able to see how lobsters are caught. She even learned some things that the lesson didn't cover (i.e. notching the tails of the females). What a great way for her to learn more. Thanks again!!!
Full of innuendos Kelly I got everyone of them 🤣🤣🤣
I hope Gabe and YOURSELF had a wonderful time up here....
Y'ALLS come back soon now ya hearah!

Very informative, very enjoyable to watch, Kelly.
Another tasty and beautiful segment, those lobsters are huge!!!! Quite the adventure in everyday life, thanks Kelly for making my day, a hungrier day haha A-plus catch, and sharing with family friends! Much love from the islands :)
Great show! I like to see fishing in different areas. Cool.
I like the video so much
Kelly that was great. Thank you for allowing me to come along. God Bless, Sammy
Hey Kelly, no you did not butcher
Assateague, you said it perfect!
I think I've only messaged you once,
but I follow you, Gabe, and Robert,
and love what all of y'all are doing!
Now, back to where you are, the only reason that I know how to pronounce that island, is that I took an interest in that area because every year they swim those wild
ponies from Chicoteague, the neighboring island, to the mainland,
and help them get adopted to control the population.
Just a little info that you may not know.
Well, I'm really jealous of you eating all that beautiful lobster, but hey,
you've earned it!!!
Y'all take good care, stay safe,
and GOD BLESS!
Jerry H
Durham, NC
The ponies stay on Assateague until rounded up to be auctioned off. It helps to thin out the burgeoning herds and the proceeds go to the island's fire dept. They do it every year.
You guys went to assateague !! I used to camp out there all the time ! The horses are always fun :)
Looks like gabe's putting a horse pasture in his back yard 😂😂😂great video broski 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Baby Lady, you're measuring the Carapace of your lobster.
Love your videos, keep up the great work. Bluegabe is a lucky man. Best regards, Geo.
Yay! More Kelly and more lobster!
More Bluegate
Hi good night pretty girl. I just love those lobsters and how easy they were to prepare. Very informative video also. Keep smiling. Keep living. Lots of love from Freeport Trinidad.
I'm jealous of you being able to go out and catch lobster that is one of my favorite foods
Living in Utah I rarely get to the ocean but I do have wild horses lots and lots of wild horses I guess that's the trade-off
I love horses 🥰
You should come to Utah and do a backcountry Lake catch clean cook trout episode 😁
Great video:) love how your not scared to grab any of the crab, fish, lobester I probably would’ve sat out of this one :) not to sure how I feel about the captains comment to Gabe but his a big stinky boy. Love y’all connection!
From Vermont but glad that you both had fun up here in New England
Great then love New England
OMG Kelly I’m so jealous, I love Atlantic lobster 🦞 😋. That big one was insane! 😜
love this guide, so knowledgeable and very well spoken when it comes to explaining
Oh yea he was great!
Dude is more of a waterman than guide.
Very cool idea running Lobster boat charters so people can see what goes into it. I subbed.
I've heard of "Jack of all Trades", but you are "Jill of all Trades" lol. You are into everything #KellyYoung! Get your excellence in miss lady! #FortPierceHopperDexx
It's called a peeler crab... The smaller one is the female and the male is protecting it because she has just shed her shell and is reciprocal ;) Peelers are great bait for Bass, Mullet and all other sorts large predatory fish! Like Mustard Bait!!
nice trip so far - you needed this!
hey kelly just so you know youre a very good fisher and blue gabe is too
Hey Kelly, you ought to try Giant Bluefin Tuna Fishing. Once you eat Giant Bluefin, you don't want any other fish.
jesus jones thats amazing...so many ways to prepare it...being from iowa that is a delicacy
By far your best video ever
I love watching your videos. I came from blue Gabe.
Kelly Kelly you had me until you wiped off the white part on the claw meat. that is like lobster jelly and tastes very good. keep up the good work. you need to come up in April, May or June for the flounder fishing out of there
People wipe it off of blue crabs as well. Thats the fat and flavor of crustaceans.
I did the same in Canada On the bay of Fundy... my mum lives there and knows the fishermen and they took me out... was amazing...
Happy Tuesday, Kelly!❤️❤️❤️❤️
awesome video Kelly, enjoyed the whole up north series!
Great to see that you are following the same conservation practices that we use in Cornwall, UK.
Captain just keeps making me think Ray Donavon. Lol.
Learned quite a bit from this video. Thanks.
She got the Onasis glasses, you must be a star :)
That looked really fun! And delicious.
Beach, HA! But it makes me want to visit NE again for some REAL LOBSTA!🤣
Kelly, you could write a book of these experiences, lesson learned, and best of the best experiences...
These Kelly and Bluegabe collabs are AWESOMENESS!
As a teenager I slept under the stars on Assateague Island. When we woke up in the morning the wild horses came down to the beach and they were walking in between my classmates and I. I had a handsome chestnut eating beach grass inches from my head.
Know you learned a bunch on the lobster boat...you make a great crew member!
What a grab of that water snake on BLUEGABE! You're beautiful & have absolutely no fear! Wonderful example for all the young ladies! You are a fantastic role model for them! Keep up the good work Kelly!
Great job,
I live in the area.
Nothing like fresh Lobster. 🦞
Always-ALWAYS something new, wild'n wonderful with your vids Kelly. WILDLY eclectic, the only only thing we can predict about your vids, is how UNpredictable they are! I've said it before, but you really do-ABSOLUTELY-live your best possible life! Thanks for yet MORE new & different content, the effort & generosity are always appreciated.(BTW, most jealous I've been of all of your food videos LOL!)
I use the water, and make some cocktail sauce with whiskey of it, as a dip. That gives a smooth taste of the lobster.
Great video Kelly. I have been to Chincoteague, which is close to Assateague. The horses there are very cool. Thanks for sharing. I will have to repeat your adventure someday. The Atlantic lobsters look good.
Awesome Video Kelly. That made me hungry..lol bet you Gabe was behind that camera licking his chops. God bless you guys.
Hey that was so good really informative and fun to watch amazing job !!! Amasing adventure !! Keep up the great job c u next week
IT'S a shame that you never got to EATING the tail of the lobster on video as that is the best part......... As for myself, boiled or steamed lobstahs (I'M from boston) are so delicious, but I prefer BAKED STUFFED LOBSTERS over any other way you cook them.....Great job on the video also.....
very interesting learning about the notch
Finally found your channel. Kelly well worth the wait.
Kelly you are awesome love your bravery going deep to the ocean sword fishing for which my dad used to do as well and taught me how to swim and fish one of my favorite sport. I caught a red fish that measured 31 inch long and yes that was a huge one while swimming at beach and went deep sea fishing that I caught groupers, snappers. I’m a Floridian as well in Orlando and grew up in PR where I used to go fishing with my dad “RIP” love learning all your videos.
That’s awesome! Love it! Thanks for commenting :)
@@IslandKey your quite welcome
Used to love Lobster but my taste drifted to Opelo king crab and or Alaskan King Crab OUTSTANDING video non the less Kelly. God bless be safe. Jim

Love to visit Florida
Hello, Kelly. Newbie here from Bluegabe and how excited bc I live in Boston; Welcome! We’re not all Massholes 😂😂
Nice one Kelly, lucky girl with such beautiful lobsters
Hi K, I worked on a Prawn boat out of Kyle of Lochalsh, just off the Isle of Skye. I MEAN worked. 60 creels to a fleet. If the weather was good it was a pleasure, if not.. haha. We did crab too, that's heavy working.. Great video again, keep them coming. xx ☺
The lobster may have been fiesty, but it did not realize who it was messing with, namely one Kelly Young. This young lady will tackle anything, and do any job on a boat. Good video Kelly
You are so funny just being you. I love the videos. Proud of you. I'll have to get y'all to a deer, hog, gator, turkey hunt on my folks land in South Alabama
Thank you
"Juicy" is always a good thing, don't like anything dry!
Frkn awesome video. Lobster looked delicious. And I am eating chili. Oh boy. Thanks for the video
Looked absolutely delicious!!!!
Man the Accent Up There.
Always more than a thumbs up for you 👍. Love you and Gabe, thanks 😊
Keep that juice. I always use it for seafood chowdah broth, but most of the time I drink it. And yes I am a Mainah lol
That's it, I'm getting me some Dan - O's 😍
yesss do it (:
as a viewer from the new england area i love the guys accent, (yes they ahhh (are)) no r's in his alphabet all replaced with h's lol. (im gonna pak my cah near the habahd yahd, see if anyone on the page gets that reference.
My guess is that big lobster just shed its shell, i know the guy said different and I am not questioning him but i was always told if the claws are nearly empty they shed and if the claws are soooo full they are about to shed and you want somewhere in between and that is the best meat.
Biggest Lobster I ever saw was one that my father got back when I was a kid, he had a bunch of high level coworkers that came over to the house, it was 21 LBS. Biggest two that i have seen together that my family had together were 19 and 18 at the same time!!!!!
PS: i pronounce all my r's lol
