Awww I loved hearing about the magical moments you were able to create! Its amazing what cast members are able to do for guests in going above and beyond and you both exemplified that!
Thank you Madeline! We had a great time reminiscing the good times we had at Disney! We have so much respect for CMs that go above and beyond when we're at Disney!
“There’s me just ruining lives” 😂😂 This made me laugh- I have said something similar to my husband. He left his college program (he was a jungle cruise skipper) to be with me and he always said if I hadn’t come along that he might still be at Disney. Haha
Bahaha glad you liked that. We must be worth it!!! :)
I stumbled on your moving to Florida series, because I too am soon moving to Orlando.. I’ve been binge watching your videos.. and I LOVE this video! I started tearing up when you were talking about the make a wish family 💕 so heart warming and humbling to hear your stories.. coming from a large family with little income, Disney parks wasnt a familiar place for me. Just last month was the first time I’ve been to Disney world, and I absolutely feel in love. Watching your videos have been so much fun to see your experiences 🥰 thank you! I love your channel!!
So glad you did Elena! We wish you the best of luck and so much success with your move. It’s so surreal being so close to Disney so look forward to getting much more familiar with the parks! Thank you again for joining us!
Ooooh! Love all the stories specially the magic moment you created for the make a wish family! 🥰 a moment they will never forget! You both are so kind and special! I’m loving to watch your channel!
Yay! Such special memories from our time being castmembers! So glad to have you join us!
This gives me so much hope! I’m Canadian and did two programs at Disney and met the guy I’m seeing now on my second program.
I just binged watched the wedding and moving vlogs and dealing with long distance now (I’m in BC, Canada and he’s in Orlando) I feel like y’all are living the dream and hopefully my life a few years from now.
Aww I’m so glad to hear that! It’s been a rollercoaster but we couldn’t be happier with how things worked out. If you can hack the long distance, you can get through anything! 💕
Love you guys. Your so sweet. I love your stories. Your both an awesome couple. As always God bless. Wishing you a happy life together
Thank you as always James! So happy you enjoyed the video!
Such a fun video! Loved hearing more about your time at Disney World! Also loved hearing about the magic moments you were able to help create! :)
Aww thank you Eric! So glad we thought to share our experiences in this video! It was so fun to reminisce!
You guys are so sweet! Love your videos!
Aww thank you so much!
Thank you so much for sharing this conversation! Being a cast member, especially now was so special, I am so grateful for the experience.
We're right there with you. Whether our paths ever take us back to Disney or not, we'll always be grateful for the memories :)
So fun
Thank you!
i love this vlog
This is a terrific video. What an amazing experience to have. P.S. Thanks for turning down the volume of the background music. It was so much easier to hear you xxx
Thank you my friend - we had a blast reminiscing and sharing our stories! And absolutely - appreciate you drawing it to our attention!!! :) - Kelsey
Seriously woman, I am in tears again! Xxx
Aww I'm sorry! ❤❤❤ Thank you for listening to our stories!!!
Great stories from you both, magical moments are so sweet. Spotted a young Emma in some of those photos too, don't you both look so young! 😂 Hope you are both well? x
Good eye! It was all a long time ago now! We're doing great thank you Nathan - hope you are also!!! :)
Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos! 😍
Thanks Karly!
I so wish I had taken the opportunity to do the College Program. I have a few friends that did and they still talk about their time there over a decade later.
It's such a unique experience. The post program adjustment to life outside the Disney bubble is hard though!!!
Awesome share friends😀👍👍👍
Thank you so much for watching!
This was so much fun! Love hearing about your history and how you met. I’ve always thought that working. For WDW would be amazing. Is John still working as a chef? And what brought you both to New York City? - Kelly
Aww thanks Kelly! We definitely loved our times working for the Mouse! John is still in restaurants but transitioned some time ago to learn front of house. And it was actually my job that led us to New York City - the company I was working for in London opened an office out here :) - Kelsey
Did you move to NYC after having a work visa? I'm new so I don't know if you've done a video on how you met etc? Xx
I did! I moved back to the UK after my Disney program for a year and a half, then moved to NYC with the company I joined in London :) We keep meaning to sit down and film a Q&A - we'll get round to it some time!
What are your jobs now? Have you seen the live action disney movies? Which one is your favourite: Aladdin, Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast?
Aladdin has been our favorite of the live action Disney movies so far!
Never Never Growing Up are you going to go and see the live action Mulan the end of March?
Karly White we certainly are! VERY excited for that one 😁 It looks so good!!!
what are the perks after you leave Disney?
There really aren't any that we're aware of. Just as when you cease employment with most companies, the perks unfortunately come to an end when you leave!
would you have any advise for applying to CRP and what attributes like previous bar work etc helped your application
geo knight unfortunately my advice might be a little bit out of date but I can for sure tell you about the experience I leaned in to. I’d spent years working in a fish and chip shop and had also been a Brownie leader so connected that to working with children. I remember talking about the FT job I was doing while I was at uni (a strong work ethic wouldn’t go amiss in any job interview) and some additional customer service experience I had from a theme park in the UK. Hope that helps a little!
@@KelsandJohn thank you so much the advice it reply helps i'm just full of nerves as maybe i'm to old (30) or only having a years worth of food service experience would not let me get to the interviews
geo knight I honestly wouldn’t worry about the age piece. While the average age will be younger, there are plenty of people on the CRP (currently too, one of my best pals is back out there) in their 30s. Give it a try!
@@KelsandJohn wow thank you honestly that's a load of my mind thanks again for the kind words i wish i could pick your mind on many aspects of the yummy job processes but thank you and a merry xmas
geo knight that’s great to hear! Feel free to DM me on Instagram or something about the experience if it would help though I am sure there are many people more qualified than me to discuss the application process since it’s been several years since I did it myself. Happy Christmas to you too! Enjoy the festive season!!!
What do you and your husband do as jobs now
margot bryson I work for a creative agency, John is still in hospitality ☺️
Poor you hun that dress looks nowt like UK wear in any time in history. It's more like the ladys of Holland
Bahaha I'd be surprised if anyone thought it was historically accurate ;)
