When setting activity priorities, if you right click it counts the other way. You do not need to cycle all the way back around if you pick something too high.
Activities : left clic prio goes up, right clic prio goes down. If you clic one too many. Easy to miss but when you mouse over, it is written at the bottom right window.

Taking them off raw food to start with doesn't update when they discover new foods later on, you need to reupdate manually each time. Otherwise you'll see them eating mushrooms and wheat etc.. I only use the 1 and 2 selection on priorities. They rarely get to 3 or above. Use right click to make empty box a 1 left click for 5. Should let them relax before working, not after, I prefer 2 hours before and after myself. Hold shift to copy drag items, when building, make shelters from twigs and grass, not metal.. as you need that for traps.. and making alloy. No walls for defence, no maze.. you won't stand a chance later on.
Thanks for watching. I set my priorities they way they are cause it helps to keep them on autopilot. My survivor wake up fine and happy resting at night. Don't need them resting when they should be working. lol. As far as high walls and mazes go, I think they suck. Just my opinion. High walls get smashed just as quickly as low walls and mazes are just what the internet copied. Have 3 hard games going in yrs 6-10 at moment with different characters and can sleep through attacks(me, not survivors).
@@frenziedplaytime I've switch to your activities and works great. It's like government workers and you need to set their scope of work or they won't do it... I had a worker tell me they won't do first aid because it's not in my contract! For real lol
So as I watch this video again I was wondering why you set your buildings up to have the opening face each other instead of making it like a tent formation? Is that a personal preference or is there reason to it? (FYI probably going to be asking a lot of questions as I still keep having issues getting past day 30 right now before people start dying off on me)
Personal choice how you build the buildings. I build them that way cause I did have issues other ways. Keep asking questions. That what this is for. Keep working on it. Check out my live stream.

It looks like they will be adding some new maps and other content on top of fixing stuff :) I'm pretty eager to see what they did!
Schedule to "sleep 22-02" .... "anything rest of the time" .... do NOT set any priorities below 3 apart from healing as priorities 1 & 2 cut deep into the threshold of how survivors behave in regard to their needs in the "anything schedule". You will never have to touch a survivor again with 2 exceptions, surveying and thunderstorms. You can always issue a direct order to construct something you want done first, otherwise the game pretty much runs itself. I did this video as a proof of concept, bad map, 2 bad survivors with innate bad mood, they ate and worked in the rain with no entertainment. Don´t watch it though, it´s really boring and I forgot to turn the mic off the first 20 minutes, creepy breathing. ruclips.net/video/tFecDezseiw/видео.html ... it´s really just meant as a " no need to micro" solution. It´s not the most efficient way of doing things but you can get your base done with 4x5 rooms by midsummer with a proper survivor group. Early balloon depends on whether fuel is found.

Yes, if I set my activities and schedule properly they will run most things on auto pilot with very little micro managing. In my later yrs I could fall asleep and they will still do their day to day, if there are things to do. Check out my other videos in this series and you will see that I don't micro manage a lot. How do you put the different shelters together and not block the survivors path. I have locked in some storage by accident.
if you hold shift while laying down blueprints to build you wont have to copy everytime you build the same object.

why dont u just equip the guns ur geting from the beginning?? there should be 1 or 2 guns after crash landing XD
