Mini 3 & X8 Pro low over water

Fimi X8 Pro and DJI Mini 3 flying 1 foot above the water at my creek. Neither of these drones allow the downward vision system to be disabled. However the altitude never fluctuated. Perhaps the moving water gave it enough contrast to work but that doesn't seem likely. What do you think?

Like the left a little more. I think its the X8 pro, it sinks when over water. My X8 V2 was just lost after 200 flights. Just turned over and sunk in the middle of the Ohio river.. Used to drop when flying low over the river..
