The commentators talk about the big win over fijiana no disrespect to our pacific sisters but this wallob team had no answers to the power of our wahine toa and dont know what the ref was thinking awarding a try to the wallobs when it was clearly held up all the tries were classics.
And one of the aussie commentators said “a shame the ref disallowed that try”.

Alana, Sae, Renee and Ruby were standouts tonight. Renee’s sprints and kicking fantastic, especially for a little lady. Ruby and Sae so aggressive and courageous with intent. But Alana Bremner was the driving force involved in almost everything, giving her all, and is my clear player of the match. Ruthless Ferns!!
Great result for our Wallaroos, 62-0 is making progress, just need to work on playing and playing teams like India or Hong Kong, tough games but the more we play better teams like them, the more improvement. 🎉🎉

There 15's have only just rolled out contracts and this year is the first with a fulltime coach. The 7's has had investment for longer with the aim of winning medals at the Olympics.
Aust 7s get 4million pumped in to it or near enough to that.The womans 15s don't get a quarter of that

If the opposition don’t compete in the line out a not straight throw isn’t called.
recently World Rugby introduced a suite of trial laws for U20 World Championships, the Pacific Nations Cup, and WXV, one of which is if line-outs are uncontested, then throws cannot be called as ‘not straight’. Additional trial laws are: once a maul's forward progress is stopped the first time, the ball must be used (see min 4:34); no scrums on free-kicks with teams required to kick or tap them to speed up the game; a 20-minute red card after which a player can be replaced; 'crocodile rolls' are now outlawed; 30 seconds to set scrums and line-outs; the 'Dupont Law' for kicks in open play where it will no longer be possible for a player to be put onside when an opponent catches the ball and either runs five metres or passes the ball- offside players must now visibly retreat (the ref missed that new law at min 7:29); the shot clock for a conversion will be reduced from 90 seconds to 60; and added protection for scrum-halves at the bases of scrums, rucks and mauls, with the offside line for defending scrum-halves moved back to the middle of the scrum (note Iritana Hohaia 21 retreating as defending scrum half at min 12:20).
