That bike is a completely unrefined beast, and I love it. Definitely find the bike that fits you, and you’ll never get bored. Love your vibe and your content.
I'm glad you realize your bike was what made you not like riding so you could fix the problem. I had quit snowboarding because I couldn't keep up with my friends and I figured it just wasn't for me. 16 years later I got the board I think I should have rather than the one the shop owner told me was good for me. Especially since you can do your own research now with the internet. Now that I have a board that is right for me and gets me excited to ride. I'm even better than all my friends and teaching them new things now.
i used to snowboard competitively in Japan (Hokkaido) for 4 years, 1 off. Similar reason, long story short it wasnt until i started practicing my techniques that i fell back in love with carving snow! Used to be obsessed in following others foot steps. Moved the east coast, barely any snow, been bummed out for a couple years now but hopefully ill take a trip down to Pa or Colorado soon lol.
I think you really hit on something with loving what you have. Your speakimg my language when it comes to love of the sport. Appreciate your candor, keep the great vids coming!
I currently ride a bmw s1000r (naked version). Unlike what most people say I find it really fun to ride and full of character. Nimble on the city and fast on track. As you said the rr is dull and lacks personality and I don’t know exactly how, despite having the same motor and almost the same frame the, single r is way more unique and fun than the rr will ever be

I love your content. You did a video quite a while back about sport bikes vs hyper naked bikes. I wish i coild find that one again. Anyway, I did not know the transmissions were different. Long story short, I didn't buy a naked bike. I bought a second gen ZX 14 R and I couldn't be happier. Freaky fast and I love it. Thank you for what you do bro.
I ride a Kawasaki Z900. I started with a fancy bike I didn't deserve because I hadn't yet developed the skills and didn't wan't to drop or wreck by learning the limits. I ended up selling it to a better home and made a good friend in the process. I now ride the Kawi knowing I can lay it down without financially crippling or actually crippling myself. I thought it was going to be a stepping-stone to my next, nicer bike but I decided to stay with the Z900 because it's such a versatile sweetheart. You do have me eyeballing the Tuono though. Golly gee whiz!
I pulled an appreciation stop HARD today. Literally rode to the National Arboretum this morning just to have a pretty backdrop to admire my Tuono 660 Factory.

Brother your comparison with the Bmw is so on point...! Im the same exact way man. I just bought a 2021 RSV4 1100 cause I know (like you) THAT is thrilling. Just crashed my 18 Tuono V4 1100 in the track, previously had a 2015 RSV4 for a while as well. I mean you can see in my channel I've had aaaall sorts of bikes. And yup, Aprilia man.... 🚀🏁
I tried to sit of the V4 and my short as legs couldn't touch the ground "5ft-7in on a good day". Currently riding 22 Kawi Z900 and been lovin it. Honestly the mod support for that bike is what I love most about it. Since i got it last year i have discovered that i really enjoy working on bikes and have found myself throwing money at it to try and make my ride. Anyway love the content here and on tiktok and hope to see more! Good luck, Have fun, DONT DIE!
For me I don’t think any bike would really change how fast I’d be on track or around town. Even if one bike gave me a couple seconds at the track I don’t care, you got to ride the bike that speaks to you. Kawasaki has always been my favourite, probably because I’m always on a budget but I’d choose a kawi even if I could get arguable a better spec’d bike for the same price, kawi just makes me smile. 🤷♂️
I'm right there with you as well. I've only owned 3 bikes so far so I could just not understand but I've never not had fun on any bike and I even want to repurchase my off road bike sometimes. I started riding on the street in the late 90s until I moved to Dubai in 2011 and didn't own a bike until 2 years ago. Found a Suzuki TL1000S in almost perfect condition for a price I couldn't ignore and here I am hooked even harder than before. Not the most powerful bike out there anymore but damn is she fun to ride, not a single electronic aid and that L twin sounds like nothing else on the street today.
I haven't named my vehicles yet. Thinking about it but honestly, it already has a name given by the manufacturer so maybe the most I would do is a spin-off like Zed?.. Great video man, being yourself is the best thing you can do and I feel like I lost sight of that myself. Looking forward to future videos! 🤘
I feel you on that man most modern bikes these days lack character but I’m happy with my 2018 zx10r SE I love the gen 5 design and the old retro style dash it’s so special for me cuz it’s the only year they did electronics suspension for that bike
I'm really glad you mentioned that the BMW S1000RR and the R1 didn't fit your body style too well. As someone who is 5'8" I'm always in that gray area where the bike is just right or too tall for me. So it looks like the Panigale might be the best fit for me.
@@luissantiago847 let’s say I can’t afford/want a 1000 what would be a good recommendation? Never been on a sport bike so Ik the learning curve is there and don’t wanna destroy myself with all dat powah
@@devanfunderburk9373 Yamaha R7 is a good starting point as long as you aren't aggressive with the throttle. If you are looking something even cheaper and even more beginner friendly, then a Kawasaki Ninja 400. If you are on a tight budget then look for a used Ninja 400. I'm sure you can find a very lightly used one for around 4 grand or a slightly older one for around 3 grand. At your height, comfort should not be an issue on most bikes. Maybe your legs will feel too cramped on some, but you can always replace the rear sets (where your feet go) with adjustable ones to give you a more comfortable riding position.
This is the best video I've watched on youtube since I posted the last comment on your other video. I agree on everything. I quit bikes all together and I only have my surron.plan to get another bike soon. Love the content Adobo. Hit me up on a weekend I will meet up with you on the Ron.
I get it. In 1994 I purchased my first bike 1994 Kawasaki ZX-7R KRT colors, it spoke to me the first time I saw it, I gravitated to it. It wasn't till the winter of 1997 that another bike caught my eye and in the spring of 1998 I was riding a blue 98 R1, and that bike, still after 25 years makes my heart flutter. These days I'm back on a 23 Kawasaki ZX-10R and loving the Kawasaki fit and feel, I get it, you gotta love the bike you ride and if it doesn't give you butterflies just looking at it, then its not for you.
Last year I went and got my first sportbike s1000rr '22.... lets hope I dont lose the interest in riding 😅 I came from the ducati world(had a m1200r), and I was used to seeing the v4s everywhere so I wanted to try something other than a panigale. I recognize the lack of soul and perhaps too refined part of the bmw. The bmw is just so smooth after 3 years of vibrations, heat and wrestling. But on the other hand, next bike will most likely be a rsv4 or v4s. Depends if the aprilia is spacious, like the v4s( i'm 6'4). Anyways, love the vids you are posting and thanks for keeping it real 💚🤍❤
We have owned almost all the same motorcycles. I’ve had a 2010 S1000RR, 2013 RSV4, 1299 S, and now an R1. The R1 is new, 600 miles, but I’m fairly certain the RSV4 has been my fav. I have been seriously considering a 2023 S1000RR, why, it has every feature I want. heated grips, cruise, TPMS, and CarPlay/Nav integration. Other manufacturers have to catch up. I don’t see Aprilia adding those features. Damn!
I'm in Tacoma too, absolutely gorgeous bike but don't know that I want to be tied to a dealership all the way up in Bellevue. Oh well, I switch bikes pretty often too.
If that’s the issue, avoid it. I don’t mind working on my own bikes, so my bikes hardly get touched by them unless i have a warranty issue. And even then, i go back and check their work lol
Awesome content!... I do not have a powerful bike like yours but I do love motorbikes. OFW in Malaysia here 🙂 I got a honda beat brandnew after a few months I saw this KTM Duke 200 V1 2013 at a buy and sell shop, think for 2 days... then I traded my scoot for the used Duke hahahaha... I am still saving up for a bigger CC and need to convert my license 😀 maybe after a year or two... Nice content! Awesome vids... Keep it up!
I ride anything you won’t see any day. I thrive having something unique and intriguing. Preferably exotic like Italian bikes, or exotic in the way that they’re “impossible” to get because of low production numbers (current bike on order, 2023 XSR900 in blue)
I've been on gsxr1k and 600 Kawasaki's and CBRs and I kinda fell in love with my 04 CBR 1K it's the longest I've had a bike just something about it there's no tec on it. I stare at my Everytime I go outside. The best part of your story is how you got a bike and wasn't feeling it. And it's not a cheap bike either and the fact that you proved sometimes expensive is not always the way to go
I just started riding a bike since last week, got a Mt-07 as a starter bike but the dream is to get a indian scout bobber or Ducati xDiavel. I guess i gotta start somewhere 😅
I love your videos mam the fact you laugh at your points ...I get it and your right which makes it really funny I'm laughing with you all the way I ride rs660 I came from super moto world and no body got a dirt bike with street tires but I loved it still own it dr650 still love it but my aprilia rs660 is it for me wish I got rsv4 but I still can and probably will anyway man awesome videos keep doing what you love doing I can say I appreciate it later man
Well you already know I ride the Energica Ego, but I just wanted a raw riding experience. I owned a zx6r and CBR and they were both wonderful bikes, but the Energica just feels so connected to the road. The way I can drive through a park, hear the birds, enjoy the scenery, and yet when I want keep up with 600's and 1000's, its really something else. I also am young and dumb so wanting something faster too. Its just a truly shocking experience driving an electric superbike everyday and while the electric drivetrain has its cons the pros are whats keeping me riding. Its the perfect experienca and I would never get rid of it.
I ride a Yamaha XSR 155... see, I choose bikes that excite me in terms of appearance and riding experience. It was when I first decided to get a motorbike and went from dealerships to dealerships. None of the bikes seemed to give me the good first impression exccept for the XSR. Though for one reason or another, I ended up with a Honda scooter as my daily driver. That said, I ended up getting the XSR about a year later. What I love about the XSR is that while it looks sweet, it has enough power for a 150cc bike and it's also affordable for a first-jobber like me.
dude the title of this video scared me. i honestly thought you quit. i already lost 1 of my favorite motovloggers to an accident that took her life, i literally thought you actually quit.
I'm a honda fan boi. For exactly the reason you said. I fucking love that noise. I love the way it feels. It's not a clouter but. It mine and it speaks to me.
If I'm being transparent, I got a 05 gixxer in black in yellow simply because I found it used at a dealership for a whopping $4300 bucks with In house financing. Imma father of 3 and know the lore of how reliable they are. First bike n she's humbled me a few times.
Man, sometimes “I got it for a steal but it’s a gem” is the best kind of soul a piece of gear can have. Never been attracted to expensive bikes or cars, give me something simple and honest every time. Been that way since I was a kid on 50cc mopeds.
To me, I miss my BMW but I needed the money so I sold the BMW, much easier to sell than the Aprilia. I don’t like the Aprilia because the tank is too wide and being short and I’m sure you can relate, there’s no chance you can back your bike up on your feet; you have to get off and push it, that’s a dealbreaker for me.
I agree with you the bmw sound is soo bland the honda hornet 600f in my opinion sounds better than a bmw. That would be my gripe about the bmw and they're noisey its like you can hear everything going on inside the engine. Its hard to explain..ermm with most bikes you can only really hear the exhaust rumble and maybe a light whistle. But with the bmw it sounds like a clattering mess.
Harley Davidson, especially in today's age, is just a name built on heritage and the "prestige" it carries. What difference does it make if the bike is functional on the street and not always in the shop? Who cares if the maker doesn't have a cult following? Who cares if the maker doesn't have any heritage or prestige in racing? A great bike will stand on it's own and if a manufacturer continues to make great bikes, they will eventually earn the prestige, cult status and heritage of the Ducati, Aprilia & Yamaha's of the world. A good bike is a good bike! I get it and respect your opinion.
Here in Wisconsin owning a Harley is basically law!!! But having my 2020 z900 as a second bike is equally as fun, love having the best of both worlds 👍
My first and current bike I got a year ago when I turned 18: 1977 susuki gs750. It’s all cafed out and speedo doesn’t work but mechanically it’s amazing and paid 1500 for it. I just wanted to hop on a bike and it reflects its owner😂 however I would like to get into sport bikes that aren’t as old as my dad
Not going to lie people in the comments will probably say I ride a baby bike I have a 2022 ninja 400 been loving this thing people say why you get a 400 get a 600 I’m more into improving my skills as a rider I had a ninja 650 I loved it but wasn’t my thing I just love the handling on the 400 plus I’m limited on bikes I can ride I’m 5,3 not that tall so for me to get a 600 I have to lower it no matter what but if a zx4r comes out it’s all the power I’m ever need to ride on the street and on track for the next couple of years
I ride Kawasaki Z800 It’s my first big bike after passing my driving test here in the uk 🇬🇧 I did ride KTM duke 125 for two years. And I did gave my bike name it’s the incredible Hulk Z800 I love Marvel’s it feels like the hulk while riding Z800 it’s shame Kawasaki stop making them in 2017 . I’m big fan from uk 🇬🇧 please never stop riding thank for your wonderful video👊
What bike do I own? A Frankensteined '97 GSXR 750 streetfighter with an '01 1k engine. What does it say about me? I'm a masochist... but I love it anyways.
Man i fuckin love your videos man, the way you describe all your bikes and your experience is fuckin awesome, i Just got my first bike its a 04 suzuki gs500f its not the coolest looking but its really making me love riding and its a nice bike to learn on. Great video and thank you for the effort.
This is why I’ve never owned an in-line 4. And dude, put some “constant power” transitions in between each of your audio breaks. Damn oops get annoying when wearing headphones 😂
i definitely just bought an s1000rr brand new lol. used to ride honda. had 3. i don’t mind how surgical the bimmer feels. i don’t even think about rhonda the honda anymore lol. they say hondas are too linear and boring too. haters gon hate. idk.
Aye bro just seen the restaurant I use to work at on this video. It’s called dragons crawfish. I recommend u eating there. My family friend owns that restaurant. Tell the owner Rodel Dela Rosa sent u lol
9:15 I’m on a 2016 Rsv4 Rf. I got a buddy with an s1k & we swapped bikes midway through a ride. He fell in love with my bike & I missed my bike 😅. So I said the same thing you did where the s1k is such a perfect bike, it feels boring. Granted, if you’re wanting one bike to do everything including being a daily rider, it’s the perfect bike. Although, the seat is less comfortable than the seat on my bike 😂😂. 13:44 my bikes name is Aphrodite 😂. I tend to always name my vehicles minus my first car & current DD.
My bike tells me Im a jackass. Riding a 1290 Superduke in Sweden. Thinking it will help me an American meet friends who like motorcycles. It just makes me seem like a but job. Riding like a hooligan on back roads in the forest for like 3 months then sitting the bike in my living room all winter
I own and ride a splendor.....none of u guys have heard of it....but it's an amazing motorcycle....but if we r talking about litre class bikes my favourite one that i have ridden is the V4S...
Had a battery drip acid onto my chain and destroy a few rollers causing the chain to slip and destroy my front sprocket, there may be people in other countries using “whatever” to clean their chain but I can’t recommend battery acid 😂
I like both. Rsv4 if you want a bike that not a lot of people have. Panigale for the prestige of owning a ducati. The 2018 v4 is more visceral than the 2020’s, so the ducati felt more like a bat outta hell. The rsv4 is linear even in Race mode. Rsv4 is easier to ride, but coming from the r1m with a -1 +2 gearing that I did, the panigale v4 felt smooth. Now the rsv4 feels sharp like the bmw, but with a better soundtrack
I have a first gen superduke 1290r, the bike is not even close to perfect, its scary to ride, ive alrdy lowsided once on it, its not as stable as later gens, the eletronics make weird errors, but when ur on the road on a sunny day, its not better feeling in the world.
Lmmfao, I feel sooooooooo attacked right now 🤣🤣🤣. I love my S1000RR and I've never pulled up to a business window to look at my reflection 🤣🤣🤣. Yes my Busa's has a name. It's DD Busa because I'm a DD Audio dealer and my Busa has their speakers on it. I use it at shows to demonstrate how well they sound. I just couldn't see myself riding a Harley to do that 🤣🤣🤣
I had a 2018 rsv4 as a taller person for that bike the tank was horrible while leaning off the top of tank is a sharp turn and my outside leg would rest on that corner it was horrible 😆 leg be sliding off constantly Def perfect for the shorter crew 👌
I love what you said that "if you don't stare and look on your bike every time you're out riding it, then you're on the wrong damn bike!" couldn't agree with you more on that statement.

@@luissantiago847 thanks so much dude! I’ll probably end up on an r6 cuz there’s no 7s around here and everyone is overpricing ninjas rn😂
Great point! Somehow I feel you ❤
This is the best video I've watched on youtube since I posted the last comment on your other video. I agree on everything. I quit bikes all together and I only have my surron.plan to get another bike soon. Love the content Adobo. Hit me up on a weekend I will meet up with you on the Ron.
Im gonna try and get a bunch of sur ronnriders together for a downtown tacoma ride
Gonna be some awesome content bro. Let me know. I'm down.
I just bought r15 2016 You guys are my inspiration I promise myself I can buy higher displacement sports bikes soon
And here i am just driving an MT03😂. You have a very nice collection of bikes
Bro amazing content!!! Really.
Damn!
The intro.... Hahaha gold! 🤣🤌👌
I have MT07.. not the fastest... But pure joy when i ride it...
amazing amazing machine , stay safe my dude
It's been about 330 days since I last rode my bike. Miss it so much
You’ll be back
I'm in Tacoma too, absolutely gorgeous bike but don't know that I want to be tied to a dealership all the way up in Bellevue.
Preferably exotic like Italian bikes, or exotic in the way that they’re “impossible” to get because of low production numbers (current bike on order, 2023 XSR900 in blue)
sweet, I'm a huge fan of the xrs900's
This is quite a coincidence, going to look at a S1000RR this afternoon 😂😂😂
I can't wait to test one out. waiting til summer time to snag one from my dealer for the day. I had a zero, but I found it's limits fast lol
@9:13 Cafe laviee or however it was spelt used to be where you parked at for your coffee. Don't know if it's as good as it was back then though
„The love“ is my (2014) street triple R, kinda punchy kinda revy and low weight, it’s the perfect bike
Awesome
Just upgraded from a Yamaha mt07 to a xsr900 2022. Didn't do it for the speed/power. Just fell in love with the xsr and can't look away!
Dude that’s a beautiful bike
@@adobomoto yeah, if your bike doesn't make you look twice it i really isn't your bike .
Shoutout from Norway! I ride a Kawasaki zx10r gen1, scares the shitt out of me every time i ride it :DD
dude the title of this video scared me. i honestly thought you quit. i already lost 1 of my favorite motovloggers to an accident that took her life, i literally thought you actually quit.
9:03 when they were making the s1k it was modeled after the gixxer
I'm a honda fan boi. For exactly the reason you said. I fucking love that noise. I love the way it feels. It's not a clouter but. It mine and it speaks to me.
I can’t believe you just compared a Beemer to Ramen, hysterical.😂
I didn’t. I compared it to instant ramen 😂
@@adobomoto Shots fired 😂
Nice one bro
If I'm being transparent, I got a 05 gixxer in black in yellow simply because I found it used at a dealership for a whopping $4300 bucks with In house financing. Imma father of 3 and know the lore of how reliable they are. First bike n she's humbled me a few times.
i have a K5 also. been rockin it since 06 and its still running strong. Buying a new rsv4 this summer, k5 will be for track duty. I love that bike
Man, sometimes “I got it for a steal but it’s a gem” is the best kind of soul a piece of gear can have. Never been attracted to expensive bikes or cars, give me something simple and honest every time. Been that way since I was a kid on 50cc mopeds.
I ride an FTR 1200 s primarily and an MT-03 for around town. Perhaps a little excessive, I got the MT and grew out of it in 2 months!
Ftr is dope!!
2020 Yamaha R6, 31000km's and counting. loving it more and more everyday
I named my Streetfighter V4 Angelina. This is my 9th bike for the past 12 yrs Ive been riding
sounds slutttie haha, I love it
I haven't passed my full bike test yet but I do have a R125 that I use as a daily rider
Why is there a picture of the others youtuber on your dashboard 2:41 ?? its Imkay right😂
The imKay sticker on the dash 😂😂 interested to know the story behind that.
I just wanted to hop on a bike and it reflects its owner😂 however I would like to get into sport bikes that aren’t as old as my dad
lmfaooo. bike life is a long life, you'll get there
Not going to lie people in the comments will probably say I ride a baby bike I have a 2022 ninja 400 been loving this thing people say why you get a 400 get a 600 I’m more into improving my skills as a rider I had a ninja 650 I loved it but wasn’t my thing I just love the handling on the 400 plus I’m limited on bikes I can ride I’m 5,3 not that tall so for me to get a 600 I have to lower it no matter what but if a zx4r comes out it’s all the power I’m ever need to ride on the street and on track for the next couple of years
I ride Kawasaki Z800 It’s my first big bike after passing my driving test here in the uk 🇬🇧 I did ride KTM duke 125 for two years.
Nice man
Man i fuckin love your videos man, the way you describe all your bikes and your experience is fuckin awesome,
i Just got my first bike its a 04 suzuki gs500f its not the coolest looking but its really making me love riding and its a nice bike to learn on.
Great video and thank you for the effort.
This is why I’ve never owned an in-line 4.
And dude, put some “constant power” transitions in between each of your audio breaks. Damn oops get annoying when wearing headphones 😂
i definitely just bought an s1000rr brand new lol. used to ride honda. had 3. i don’t mind how surgical the bimmer feels. i don’t even think about rhonda the honda anymore lol. they say hondas are too linear and boring too. haters gon hate. idk.
No hate here. I owned two s1k’s in my life. Great bike, loved the carbon wheels. Hate the inline 4 sound 😂
lods is it still to get a 2015 20k miles w/ $10k tag R1. & Im VA the seller from FL. any suggestions? tnx
That’s a great price man.
I ride cafe racers. Im 26 yrs old and im really just an old soul. Started to ride bikes for a bad and really sad reason. But i grew to love riding
Every comment you made about s1k owners is dead on but i can't wait to be one soon😂
I have two bike right now their names are China girl and Kawasexi. Also your bike really is a good looking bike.
😂😂 naming the aprilia parmesan then
@@adobomoto that’s very fitting.
Ok I’m really glad I’m not the only one who thinks their bike is beautiful. I want to stop and take pictures all the time, I do t but I want to.
Great video, what do you think about honda?
I ride a KTM and a GasGas! Not new ones tho - they are pretty much the same bike lol :)
Realest ! 👏🏽
😂😂😂 but you dissolved the contaminants
@@adobomoto can’t argue with facts
I love my gen 2 Tuono!
Honestly the s1000rr is a dream bike the older ones with the mismatched headlights. The other dream bike is the Triumph street triple 1200rr
the 2015 and up versions are my favorite
@Adobo Moto I love them up util 2019 then they had to make it look like almost everything else out there
In comparing the Ducati V4s, how does it feel to your current aprilia rsv4?
I like both. Rsv4 if you want a bike that not a lot of people have. Panigale for the prestige of owning a ducati. The 2018 v4 is more visceral than the 2020’s, so the ducati felt more like a bat outta hell. The rsv4 is linear even in Race mode. Rsv4 is easier to ride, but coming from the r1m with a -1 +2 gearing that I did, the panigale v4 felt smooth. Now the rsv4 feels sharp like the bmw, but with a better soundtrack
From what past experience don't buy something just to impress others, me I just bought my dream bike, a 1260s Diavel
Harley 48. Just makes me feel like a badass even getting a loaf of bread lol.
If i had a sporty, i’d be using it for groceries too lmfao
@@adobomoto Don't forget the diet water xD
I have a first gen superduke 1290r, the bike is not even close to perfect, its scary to ride, ive alrdy lowsided once on it, its not as stable as later gens, the eletronics make weird errors, but when ur on the road on a sunny day, its not better feeling in the world.
Nobody gets a Suzuki tattoo. That's priceless!
I just couldn't see myself riding a Harley to do that 🤣🤣🤣
I ride a kaw zzr600 my first bike ever and I love it. don’t care for no other bike just my baby jewels
Why did you get rid of the panigale
I had a 2018 rsv4 as a taller person for that bike the tank was horrible while leaning off the top of tank is a sharp turn and my outside leg would rest on that corner it was horrible 😆 leg be sliding off constantly Def perfect for the shorter crew 👌
why is there imkay in your dash?
