In fact, for those willing to delve deeper into scripture, Jesus mentioned the new age (age of Aquarius) when he mentioned following a man with the pitcher of water. That's Aquarius. "New age" isnt a new thing. It means entering a new age. Right now, we are in the Piscean era. Soon, Aquarius. That's what new age means. Some Christians call it New age, because they want to lump evertone in one category. And you should not care about labels. I think you guys operate out of fear. And i think a lot of these testimonies are fake(my opinion). Because if you guys were real Christians you realize you accept and attracted to main stream christianity which blinds people from the real teachings of the bible somewhat. I felt the same when I started doing yoga and when my ex gave me some talisman from temple in Japan. I had nightmares, horrible nightmares. I was screaming at my family and behaved so unusual. I also have a similar story to yours brother... I always meditated and explored the idea of the third eye, pineal gland and wanting to obtain a higher state of consciousness. It really changed my life. I later realized that I was lost and prayed to God. I won't go into any details, but God answered my prayers in so many powerful ways, I didn't even expect it... The God of the impossible. Nothing is impossible with Jesus Christ, I can promise you that. I let everything regarding the new age thing go. One must not try to be "one with the universe" and try to obtain divinity... My spirituality has never been more real, powerful and amazing since I met Jesus. He made me cry many times of joy. Where would one start? I read these kinds of comments and I feel like there must be something there but I have no idea what it means. The praying and Jesus part. I am someone who did psychedelics and from that started to explore spirituality and read lot's of new ageish arcticles etc, which basically told that there is no "I" and in reality each of us is God and thus our thoughts, emotions and words literally create our reality and so on. Basically I got this feeling that there is more and I started chasing after it, but not quite getting there. Now for a while I've been slowly getting more down to earth and are very sceptical about new ageish stuff like law of attraction etc. But now realizing that all of it most likely was just leading me away from myself...I am starting to feel hopeless in life, disconnected. Before I had something to chase, to hope for, now it's just emptiness. Any tips where to go from here? Thanks alot in advance.

@@RayPopescu Wow man thank you so much for such a thoughtful and heartfelt reply. I can relate alot to your story - I did psychedelics and these got me questioning reality and started this search. I too looked down on religious people, because my search led me to believe that each of us is the God, with the power to create our own reality by belief and emotion, tuning into correct freuquency and so on, and thus the people who are worshiping external gods are delusional believing a bullshit story. I didn't really think I was better than others or that I wasn't sinning - in fact I knew I was sinning because I was suffering from those sins, so for few years now I've been into self-improvement and trying to get rid of any bad habbits which in my case were drugs, alcohol and smoking, not taking care of my body and not really thinking about how I can contribute and give back the world etc. Alot of those things I did because I was bullied alot and developed social anxiety, so to feel comfy in social situations I turned to those bad habits I mentioned. I've always been pretty honest with myself and others, I value truth even if it hurts instead of sugarcoating anything. I don't have a support network, no real family or friends, I've lived most of my life secluded from society in a small village, did live for 5 years in capital of my country, but that's where I got into those bad habbits the most. I've always felt that the tempo of the world is crazy, people running everywhere like their life depends on it, trying to achieve something beyond themselves...mostly missing what really matters and regretting it on their deathbed. That matter aside, since this search started and my meeting with spirituality, I got the belief that I AM responsible for my life. Since I thought I am the creator, because that's what sprituality tries to convince us, or atleast that's how I understood it. So how can I ask for help from outside? I couldn't. Now reading these comments about how people found God and it saved them, it's hard to wrap my head around but because so many are experiencing this, then my rational conclusion is that there must be something to it, that all of these people cannot be crazy. It seems more likely that it really did happen and is true. Okay, so...I am here, I am open and willing, but I don't know how to do it. How to think about it? How to "talk" or " connect " with God? What does this look like? Do I just get down on my knees and say in my mind or out loud " Hey, God, I am here and I need your help/forgiveness/whatever. " and wait for something to happen? How do I make the connection and how do I know when I made it? You know, I am a rational person, sceptical, because I don't want to be misled by delusions that just take me further away from it, just like the new age seems to do. So far it seems to me that I have to BELIEVE...but God to me seems such a foreign concept that it's hard to imagine and thus impossible to believe. Hopefuly it will bring you some insight. My suggestion to you is just be yourself, be transparent and seek righteousness by wanting to start your relationship with God. God knows how many hairs are on your head, he created the universe on a molecular level... He knows you personally Mikael! So here's my testimony: Around 2 years ago when I was super into new age, smoking pot daily... I practiced lucid dreaming, astral projection, frequencies and all of that type of stuff. Keep in mind I thought I understood life and I was on the right track. I was on my way home, driving from work and I was looking up in the sky... I have no idea why but as I was driving, I talked with the God of the Bible, I addressed myself directly to him, without expecting an answer. I said out loud : '' God... If i'm not living my life how i'm supposed to be. Then please show me. Because if you don't do anything, I will continue on this path my whole life...'' Later that night, I was on my computer... My wife was sleeping and I decided to smoke a small little joint. (She disproved of me smoking indoors and I always lied to her by going next to a window and getting high before going to sleep) That quantity was not even enough get me high. It was like I had a little glass of wine... I went to take a shower and as I got out of the shower, something terrifying happened. I felt like my whole body was going to explode. I was in so much physical pain, I just can't explain it in any other way. Every single muscle of my body was in extreme pain. I woke my wife up and explained that I had smoked and I thought I was going to die... I kept fading in and out of consciousness every 15 seconds... I had never felt so much pain in my life. I thought to myself ''God I can't die, not today, not like this. Please have mercy on me, give me a chance.'' It hurt so bad, that I asked my wife to call an ambulance. She didn't, instead she held me in her arms. Around 15 minutes later, I remembered that I prayed to God for a sign like 4-5 hours ago. At that very moment, I started crying like a baby, I felt all the bad things that I have done come out of me and I was ashamed, It's like I was naked spiritually! Mikael, the feeling I had when I was crying made me think of something ''If you go back on this road, you shall surely die.'' That phrase resonated deeply in my head while I was crying. As I was crying in my wife's arms, I kept saying out loud ''im sorry. Im sorry.'' She said stop saying sorry....... I said i'm not saying sorry to you, i'm saying sorry to God! That's the point in my life that made me do a 90 degrees in my life. Complete change after that day. It was like a Father disciplining his child for misbehaving. It was a spiritual clap on my face, he completely destroyed my pride. Crushed it, gone. That's the beauty of it... Through darkness and sin, God can blossom beauty in your life. God will give you hope and you will never be alone again. If he saved a wretch like me... he can save anyone.... The next day I went to my parent's house and I asked my dad for his Bible. As I started reading I read the same page like 10 times. Because I could not believe what had just happened: everything started making sense. It was like I put on glasses for the first time and the words made sense to me! The actual creator of the universe has his own book...and I never bothered to read it.... Today looking back, if I actually died that day, God would have judged me righteously and I would be sent to hell 100% sure no questions asked. So I thank God that he delivered me from that! Often we think we are invincible... The fact is, death is waiting for us all. You never know when you will die and meet your creator. This whole life is to prepare you for THAT moment. The most important moment of your life : your death - your eternity! So Mikael, just be true to yourself. What do you want? Are you willing to give up EVERYTHING for God? All of your sins? Are you willing to follow righteousness in your life, and love your neighbor and your enemies as you love yourself? If you are, my friend this will be the most powerful spiritual experience you will ever have, you will never want to get high or chase over false spirituality in your life. This is it!!! As someone who practied New Age belief systems previously, it's very paradoxical to me that while it's a common belief in new age that we are all god-like, that those powers can only come through if you sit doing nothing for long periods of time, spend all your time cooking "pure" vegan food, and attain a fleeting state of perfection of consciousness that only comes once in a blue moon... and try to make it happen all the time. Thank you so much for opening my eyes. I think it's safe to say that I am a "survivor" of new age. It quite literally drove me to insanity and I was in a situation where it had almost caused me to take my life. Based on the biblical idea that we are living in the devils domain and all we see and touch is his technically. When you trace most symbolism in the world today it leads to apparent “demonic” interpretations of physical reality and is anti Christian god. Ie Star of David which was brought on by Zionist movement of European Jews. The Islam star and Islamic pegan origins along with worship of black boxes and such. Tho in this new Christianity age we find the physical cross that these romans took upon themselves to supposedly murder Jesus. ( I say supposedly due to not being there) We can also see pegan rituals being done in the Vatican today. So my question is. Is the people who killed Jesus. Couldn’t the cross be an extension of Stan’s trick on the world. Using the same symbology to navigate that the romans used to crucify? I don't care about what or what you don't believe in (i could care less honestly) so I'm not going to go on a "Christian rant for your soul"😂 people call crazy what they don't understand or never experienced. I've experienced demonic attacks as a child. At the time, i didn't know what was occurring. My mom thought i was insane. At the age of 10 Doctors prescribed me with "crazy pills" to stop my "hallucinations". But of course they never worked. All they did was make me high and caused serve depression, but the demonic activities got worse! I threw this brand new bk in the garbage, picked up my bible, and started reading. A few days later my wife and I destroyed every 'New Age' bk I had purchased. JESUS is the ONLY way. I use to be big into the "new age" movement, but at the end of October the holy spirit brought me to a ministry thay explained the Bible to me and I've been studying it ever since. I’m not here to ridicule or start an argument just try and see it from your perspective, now let me explain my life, then facts then maybe you can help me if I really need it or maybe I can help you if you need it, couple years back I studied the King James Bible, I had so many questions and I was just told not to ask those questions and that they would never be answered cuz my brain can comprehend things like that, for example, What does God look like and why wasn’t we made to see him? Where does god come from and there’s more I had just can’t think of them off the top of my head, and I followed these religions -Seven Day adventice, Christianity and Jehova witness, now they all have very similar beliefs one of them being never judge another man for only god can do that, yet for some reason the most judgmental people I have ever met spawn from religion, we ridicule devil worshipers instead of try and help guys them, and that’s not right in my eyes, once I started looking into I think wud be called new age everything made sense and I starting learning things on my own without help from research! I recently broke up with a girl after I found out she had crystals around her own picture inside a star pattern like drawing. She was always talking about Atlantis, aliens, annunaki etc. Her crystal ritual was a big red flag for me. She has a hard time even paying her electricity bill and cell bill. No one needs to be 'new age' to be spiritual. Some of the most self-righteous people I've ever met are new age or consider themselves spiritual. There is a lot of self-righteousness amongst it even the ones that talk about love and light. A lot of it is very conditional and if you're judged to question things too much you're a 'negative vibration' and ostracised from the new age club and treated with anger and hostility. I've seen this over and over even with some high profile spiritual speakers I've met..
It’s funny how they act like it’s all about me me me. Not realizing it’s only pushing themselves away from close people. I fell into this trap long ago i was so lost and emotional. Then I started following this new age leader that thought us affirmations, white light healing, rebuilding our lives which meant destroying relationships that are holding us back. I broke up with my girlfriend at the time because I thought she was holding me back. Even knowing she was going though tough times.. I have broken many of my relationships with wonderful people. One my friends who was in the program got rid of not only me but pushed away his parents and our self improvement coach away. It took me many years to realize what it was doing to my life. Until I was experiencing paranormal activity at night from getting into yoga and channeling energy with a powerful but popular yogi (I forget his name) I went on my knees to Jesus Christ to save me. I was so hurt and in tears because of the loss and putting everything I had into self improvement. I was left with nothing. But Jesus was there to catch me in the end when I could no more. I’m still trying to slowly throw away everything I’ve learned and give my life to Jesus completely. I could not believe it I thought I was doing the right thing because a lot of people practice self improvement and new age practices life meditation and yoga??? I was so surprised how many people are being deceived right now in front of me... even the people that I looked up to. All I can do is pray for everyone.

Chances are if Jesus were on earth today, he would be hanging out with the 'sinners' because they are at least being open and honest about who they are BUT these fake Christian leaders and leaders across the board, dare to judge, condemn and put down people for doing things that they do too but hide it. When you talk about oppression and spiritual bondage I know exactly what you mean. Like a chain with a ball at the end that doesn't let you run, was attatched to my heart. I had put a lot of money into books and cards and crystals,,,, when Jesus pulled me out I threw all of it away. I went and bought a bible. Walking through this store I came accross this book called: The Evangelicals Guide to Spiritual Warfare that popped out at me and it is really helping with everything going on. I recommend it for anyone who might need help guiding them to truth through this journey out, if they so choose. Blessings!
I see a lot of this ideology in the church which forced me to pick up my bible and run! I went back to the roots of my faith and abandoned all traditions and doctrines of man. I studied the Torah (the law) and wondered why I had so many Christians attacking me for doing so! It was basic stuff, basic principles and every commandment taught me how to love God and how to love my neighbor. I no longer had to question, it was right there, given by the father himself. Then he sent his beautiful son, so when I fell short, I could approach the throne and ask for forgiveness, no more would my crimes be punishable by death, halleluYAH! I found a home in the Hebrew roots movement, however, I am troubled to see these same, borderline gnostic, ideologies also starting to infiltrate there. It's very troubling, and every time I draw attention to these things, ie. Flat earth, aliens and hybrids, etc.. I get attacked. As man, I think that we do have a thirst to understand everything around us, but we can't begin to understand the awesomeness that is Yahweh the father and Yeshua the son, it's supernatural. The Gnostics did that in their day, and continue to deceive people and pervert the word to this day. I believe that a remnant is being regathered on earth today. The Shofar of the father is blowing and people are being drawn to the sound. His covenant is open to all who want to be part of it. But unlike a lot of churches tell us today, it will cost you. Romans 12:2 tells us to renew our minds by the Word of God. The Word will take those thoughts out. Get as much of the Word in you daily. Set your mind on Godly things and those thoughts will disappear. Also, when you see someone rather than wondering their sign wonder if they have a relationship with Jesus--then share the goodness of Christ 😊. Don't give up...!!

I met a man at a park once who spoke at length about reincarnation and how he believed he had kived past lives. I waited until he eventually finished and then said, "Reincarnation is just a trick to get you to waste the only life you have." He immediately burst into tears at nearly twice my age. Then he said, "I had a feeling that was the case, I just needed someone to say it." Then we talked about Christ. I often wonder how that man is.
But reincarnation is real. There have been many stories, even those who were Christian and prayed to God for their children for another chance and then the children could remember their past lives. I believe God allows us to reincarnate for a second chance, or allows us to stay at Heaven.

I got involved in this new age bullcrap and I've been regretting it ever since. I bought this lady's book and she channels an Egyptian God, Isis, and a few other beings that she claimed were of the light and christ consciousness. She was saying how you can call on them and has exercises in the book to do. I called on one of the beings and it has been following me since 2015. It has reeked havoc in my life. I eventually found out that this being is actually a demon and not some light being. This being tricked me and had me thinking I was communicating with my deceased mother and angels, etc. I just paid this lady to banish him and I'm hoping it worked. I wish I would've never gotten involved in this movement or bought that book.

Now as a Pagan (not a new age philosopher I will explain that as the post goes on) I do still enjoy watching and reading your material with an open mind. Now as a pagan I tend to stick with the traditional way things have been done so I am forced to dig a little deeper then the average new age thinker because they only brush the surface of these ancient belief systems and have a very vague and/or twisted view and understanding of the theology. Now I for one commend you on your new journey and wish you well on your path I am pretty certain that you will not convince me other wise considering that all religion is basically the same preaching a very similar message. considering the fact I have been researching theology for the past 4 to 5 years now I have a decent understanding of several different religions and still not only dig deeper but also discover new religions you probably never herd of. I don't know, I find it hard for one religion to be the end all be all source of power and creation in the universe mostly in part because every religion around the world is saying that their source is the correct god and religion and failing to follow this religion will result in some bad thing happening to you now or in the after life. My journey started with being born into Catholicism. By the time I was a teenager I was researching the history of Catholicism and other religions. I knew something wasn't right. I was also going to my dad's Pentecostal church but that wasn't right either. I started researching everything I could get my hands on looking for truth. I went through Shamanism, did Ayahuasca in Peru, went through Hinduism, Buddhism, the Occult, Kriya Yoga and after thinking I had gained so much from all the experiences I suddenly realized I was lost in the darkness. Jesus called me home. After years of struggling, losing my home and possessions twice I accepted Jesus and my Savior and my life completely turned around. My wife, kids and I have rebuilt our lives and things are going really well. Jesus is the way.
Crazy when you are shown the truth. You can get rid of it so fast. I was obsessed with the pick a card videos and I actually bought some tarot cards. I’ve also been into zodiac signs since I was 4 so I was practically a master at what I was doing. I was a full blown Christian at the same time going to church every Sunday and doing things to closer my relationship with god but at the same time I was getting closer to the Devil. I would do psychedelics, read tarot, go get my palms read, I have palm reading things in my room and native American beliefs. Idk I feel so discouraged with myself while I write this because as I’m writing it. I’m shown how bad I’ve been living and even in my room it’s still surrounding me I love the Lord so much though and he’s getting me out of this one step at a time and one realizations at a time. How do you know God’s real? Because when you call on his sons name Jesus Christ you can feel the Holt spirit wake up within you. And the spiritual awakening you’re looking for is God. Because when you’re surrounded by him you can feel his presence. You can feel a tingle within. Not once have I ever felt a high like a supernatural high. Today my mind is healed and I have been set free from all the lies that encamp the new age and have found the truth for my soul in the Bible. They have fallen into such deception. "success" is a pretty subjective term. Steve isn't trying to get rich off these videos as he has said, so success to him would be having a group of people that are patient and wait for him to do his research before posting a new video. As I said, patience is a virtue, for those that are impatient, maybe go watch someone else.
I have to ask, not for the sake of argument or confrontation, but genuinely ask... What about the people who spent the majority of their lives searching for God thru Jesus and the Bible but never found any peace, any comfort... just a continued sense of fear, unknowing, unrest & sadness? What do you tell those same people who then opened themselves up to practices such as meditation, yoga, kundalini... basically energy work & a focus on mindfulness, gratitude, looking within to find what some refer to as Christ consciousness or a collective unity & found something that for the first time in their lives really resonated, gave them a sense of peace, purpose, release from the incessant fear of an eternity of damnation based not on character, not on good vs bad but rather whether or not you believed in the right religion? There is a personal attachment to this inquiry bc that's very much been my story. I haven't let go of God, let go of Jesus... just the fundamentalism that held me which was very much founded in fear. This belief system I've discovered for myself isn't rooted in a 'only 1 belief system holds the keys to heaven' ideology but rather an incorporation of some of the most ancient practices of multiple religions. I think it's crazy to believe that 1 single religion is 'it' or that any 1 religion has survived the corruption of mankind to utilize religion as a means of control. I am told by fundamentalists that I will spend eternity in hell for practicing meditation or kundalini... seriously? That leads me to question the 'doctrine of hell' (the primary aspect of Christianity that made me question everything in the 1st place)... Does one really believe that our eternity will be determined based on what is 'a flash in the pan' moment of existence, a teeny tiny moment in time heavily influenced by where we are born, what culture we are born into, individual circumstances? One person's life may be 20 years and another's 80. The 80 yr old had 4x's the lifespan to find God & be saved but the 20 year old female killed unexpectedly by a drunk driver who was still on her spiritual quest goes to hell because she hadn't yet found true belief? Where is the justice in that? What about the person born into the 'wrong culture' halfway around the world who is never exposed to Christianity? Eternity in hell? I don't understand that. I'm still seeking. I'll always be seeking because we simply do not have the ability in this form to comprehend or know the truths of the immensity of the universe we live in. We are only able to both see or experience a tiny portion of it & living within the constraints of fundamental belief paints a very bleak, very sad picture. Side note - you make a lot of claims that aren't true in this video about both sides. -You claim personal beliefs that can't be substantiated as fact. -You imply money must be spent to explore these practices...I haven't spent a dime. -You suggest a sense of 'imprisonment' by new age beliefs but many find the opposite to be true.... it was meditation, keeping a journal expressing my gratitude, maintaining positive affirmations, or more aptly described within psychology as positive self talk, that helped bring me out of a crippling, years long depression. -I don't really understand the designation as 'new age' when many of these practices are traced back to the most ancient of religions - one needn't abandon belief in God or Jesus to take part in these practices...I certainly haven't. I pray daily. I feel more connected now than before probably because my choice is not guided by a immense fear of eternal fire. - For reasons mentioned in my comment, it's much more inclusive. Fundamentalism is incredibly exclusive, condemning, demeaning .... I come across more hate in a day from fundamentalists than I have in 6 months of meditation and energy work. - Being trained in the sciences, much of these practices focus on what we know to be scientific fact such as that we, & everything we encounter as 'matter' is in fact energy. Furthermore, physics has shown there are innumerable dimensions. Quantum physics takes it all to another level that I won't venture into on this platform. I do think many use LOA for very superficial things & that it's been taken to a level by many that seeks to exclude any real spirituality but it's not representative of the whole.
I don’t know. Some new age beliefs might be pretty crazy but belief in the soul and the evolution of the soul or higher self thru reincarnation doesn’t really sound all that crazy to me. It certainly sounds less crazy to me than some of the stuff in the Old Testament like Eve being pulled from Adam’s rib, talking serpents, trees of the knowledge of good and evil,talking donkeys, staffs that turn into serpents, staffs that part oceans, rivers of water that turn into rivers of blood, manna from heaven, etc.. Also the god of the Old Testament seems more like a ruthless, bloodthirsty dictator than a transcendent being to me. God also seems perfectly fine with slavery(Leviticus25:44) and putting homosexuals to death(Leviticus 20:13). If you want to stay a Christian I would advise you not to read the Old Testament. I admit I have only read the first five books of it but it gives a pretty dark view of the Christian God. And I’m not trying to offend anyone. I’m just relaying my experience.
I dont even know what believe anymore. If christianity is the only way to salvation why is there so much division within religion in of itself. You have baptists, mormons, methodists, jehovah witnesses, catholics and they are all saying to each other the exact same thing that you are in this video. "My way is the only right way heres why".

Some are old, so stem from ignorance, and delusion, and attempts to explains the how and why of everything before science and to divide the ruled and the rulers, and make a reason for laws. Newer religions, or what are called cults can be all these things as well as delusions of godhood, or being a messiah and having followers. The ignorance is often, but not always, self induced,or indoctrinated in followers or there is brain washing....not like older established religions where it is often a well ingrained part of culture and tradition. religions wither when people are educated, and begin to understand how things work, and are allowed to ask questions and develop critical thinking skills. "just because", or "God says" are no long adequate or satisfying answers.
There is no division/denomination(s) in the Bible (the book that Christians believe to be the true book of Truth). People throughout generations have made those up. That used to confuse me too. But please consider the fact that Christian's are what people were called that followed the teachings of Jesus. It's not a religion. Religion is often thought of as what you cant do and all the rules and regulations but following Jesus is really more liberating than anything. That's the part people dont get to understand or perhaps not articulated many times. Jesus was one of the least "religious" people in history, he was groundbreaking going against what many religious people in his own communities thought was acceptable. I dont know if any other religious leader ever made the claim to be THE TRUTH, but Jesus did so if you REALLY want to know about truth I dont know about you but I would definitely start there with the man who made such a bold claim. Jesus is God's son who lived on this Earth to give us an example of how we should live our lives. Ask him to come in your heart and you can begin the real journey of truth that you may be seeking. God will become more real than ever to you and you can ask him the hard questions too. There's so much more I could say but I think that's a start. I just dont want people to be confused. We who believe in Jesus feel obligated to tell others about Jesus because we have experienced such a wonderful gift (truth, love, understanding, peace and so much more) through Jesus Christ and we want to share it with the world! It's our duty to share and whether you receive or not, we at least know we did our part. Everyone didn't accept while Jesus himself was on Earth either ;but many people to this day can attest that knowing Jesus changed their life forever.

I remember arguing on Facebook with this guy back when I was in Brendon Culliton's group. I rode the new age train for a while after that and for so long I learned things but could never find a definitive straight answer or meaning to all my questions. Now I've finally found Christ. In fact, for those willing to delve deeper into scripture, Jesus mentioned the new age (age of Aquarius) when he mentioned following a man with the pitcher of water. That's Aquarius. "New age" isnt a new thing. It means entering a new age. Right now, we are in the Piscean era. Soon, Aquarius. That's what new age means. Some Christians call it New age, because they want to lump evertone in one category. And you should not care about labels. If you're wanting to be more spiritual, you have to empty your mind of all preconceived notions. And the only reason those notions exist, is because religion and it's zealots put them there for you. We all sin. Jesus Christ, as the son of God came to fie for our sins. Through Him we are free. Repenting and accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour is a major seed of being saved and becoming a new creation with a new heart.
God speaks through The Bible. We connect with Him through prayer.
I believe both those practices, reading scrpiture and praying, will also strengthen the saved process of being free.
Unfortunately evil is real.
We are just human.. and very flawed.
We need Jesus Christ. It is that humility that is very key to genuinely being open to becoming a new creation.

I felt the same when I started doing yoga and when my ex gave me some talisman from temple in Japan. I had nightmares, horrible nightmares. I was screaming at my family and behaved so unusual. I thought it was just coincidence or that I am so nervous because of problems with stomach, but no. It was influence of new age. Thanks to Lord Jesus Christ for saving me and giving me peace. mudcrock When i got into drinking, never came home, was partying, got into drugs, into the criminal life, than started to wonder about God, & started going to church, then eventually gave my life to God (Born Again Christian), all while my mother prayed for me, she always worried for me and i was only 15-16 at the time. I also have a similar story to yours brother... I always meditated and explored the idea of the third eye, pineal gland and wanting to obtain a higher state of consciousness. It really changed my life. I later realized that I was lost and prayed to God. I won't go into any details, but God answered my prayers in so many powerful ways, I didn't even expect it... The God of the impossible. Nothing is impossible with Jesus Christ, I can promise you that.
I let everything regarding the new age thing go. One must not try to be "one with the universe" and try to obtain divinity... My spirituality has never been more real, powerful and amazing since I met Jesus. He made me cry many times of joy.
He made me a better person.

Where would one start? I read these kinds of comments and I feel like there must be something there but I have no idea what it means. The praying and Jesus part.
I am someone who did psychedelics and from that started to explore spirituality and read lot's of new ageish arcticles etc, which basically told that there is no "I" and in reality each of us is God and thus our thoughts, emotions and words literally create our reality and so on. Basically I got this feeling that there is more and I started chasing after it, but not quite getting there. Now for a while I've been slowly getting more down to earth and are very sceptical about new ageish stuff like law of attraction etc. But now realizing that all of it most likely was just leading me away from myself...I am starting to feel hopeless in life, disconnected. Before I had something to chase, to hope for, now it's just emptiness. Any tips where to go from here? Thanks alot in advance.

Before I had my conversion, I had this idea in my head:

Here's the thing, The Creator of the Universe ( who is outside space time and matter) loved us so much, that he descended as a MAN on this earth sometime 2000 years ago through a miraculous conception. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This man never sinned, and fulfilled all the prophecies in the past thousands of years. It was prophesied many decades ago that a redeemer would come to save us all and had to do many specific things to show that he is the Son of God.
To summarize, don't trust your good works. Good works will not get you with God. You're like the rest of us, a sinner in need of a savior.
It's like saying to a judge '' Your honor I know I robbed a bank and shot a guard, but look at all the good works I have did in my life''
The Judge will say '' So you should! I am judging you for all the crimes you have committed.''

You will be born again of SPIRIT. You will have a brand new heart. You will have different thoughts, different taste in music, different vocabulary... You will love all that is righteous and hate what God hates (evil).
After, you should read the Bible. You will see that when you're disconnected with God, it is gibberish, it's a book of fairy tales. Once you are born again, the Spirit of God will live inside you and every word of that book is food for your soul. You will read it with eyes like a child, truly believing everything it says, since it is the actual words of the creator of this universe....

@@RayPopescu Wow man thank you so much for such a thoughtful and heartfelt reply. I can relate alot to your story - I did psychedelics and these got me questioning reality and started this search. I too looked down on religious people, because my search led me to believe that each of us is the God, with the power to create our own reality by belief and emotion, tuning into correct freuquency and so on, and thus the people who are worshiping external gods are delusional believing a bullshit story.
I didn't really think I was better than others or that I wasn't sinning - in fact I knew I was sinning because I was suffering from those sins, so for few years now I've been into self-improvement and trying to get rid of any bad habbits which in my case were drugs, alcohol and smoking, not taking care of my body and not really thinking about how I can contribute and give back the world etc. Alot of those things I did because I was bullied alot and developed social anxiety, so to feel comfy in social situations I turned to those bad habits I mentioned.
I've always been pretty honest with myself and others, I value truth even if it hurts instead of sugarcoating anything.
I don't have a support network, no real family or friends, I've lived most of my life secluded from society in a small village, did live for 5 years in capital of my country, but that's where I got into those bad habbits the most. I've always felt that the tempo of the world is crazy, people running everywhere like their life depends on it, trying to achieve something beyond themselves...mostly missing what really matters and regretting it on their deathbed.
That matter aside, since this search started and my meeting with spirituality, I got the belief that I AM responsible for my life. Since I thought I am the creator, because that's what sprituality tries to convince us, or atleast that's how I understood it. So how can I ask for help from outside? I couldn't.
Now reading these comments about how people found God and it saved them, it's hard to wrap my head around but because so many are experiencing this, then my rational conclusion is that there must be something to it, that all of these people cannot be crazy. It seems more likely that it really did happen and is true.
Okay, so...I am here, I am open and willing, but I don't know how to do it. How to think about it? How to "talk" or " connect " with God? What does this look like? Do I just get down on my knees and say in my mind or out loud " Hey, God, I am here and I need your help/forgiveness/whatever. " and wait for something to happen?
How do I make the connection and how do I know when I made it? You know, I am a rational person, sceptical, because I don't want to be misled by delusions that just take me further away from it, just like the new age seems to do. So far it seems to me that I have to BELIEVE...but God to me seems such a foreign concept that it's hard to imagine and thus impossible to believe.
I don't know how else to explain my struggle of the moment with this. Maybe you can understand and show me a perspective or way I don't see myself about how to go about this. So here's my testimony:
Around 2 years ago when I was super into new age, smoking pot daily... I practiced lucid dreaming, astral projection, frequencies and all of that type of stuff. Keep in mind I thought I understood life and I was on the right track.
I was on my way home, driving from work and I was looking up in the sky... I have no idea why but as I was driving, I talked with the God of the Bible, I addressed myself directly to him, without expecting an answer.
I said out loud : '' God... If i'm not living my life how i'm supposed to be. Then please show me. Because if you don't do anything, I will continue on this path my whole life...''
Later that night, I was on my computer... My wife was sleeping and I decided to smoke a small little joint. (She disproved of me smoking indoors and I always lied to her by going next to a window and getting high before going to sleep)
That quantity was not even enough get me high. It was like I had a little glass of wine...
I went to take a shower and as I got out of the shower, something terrifying happened. I felt like my whole body was going to explode. I was in so much physical pain, I just can't explain it in any other way. Every single muscle of my body was in extreme pain.
I woke my wife up and explained that I had smoked and I thought I was going to die... I kept fading in and out of consciousness every 15 seconds... I had never felt so much pain in my life. I thought to myself ''God I can't die, not today, not like this. Please have mercy on me, give me a chance.''
It hurt so bad, that I asked my wife to call an ambulance. She didn't, instead she held me in her arms.
Around 15 minutes later, I remembered that I prayed to God for a sign like 4-5 hours ago. At that very moment, I started crying like a baby, I felt all the bad things that I have done come out of me and I was ashamed, It's like I was naked spiritually!
Mikael, the feeling I had when I was crying made me think of something ''If you go back on this road, you shall surely die.'' That phrase resonated deeply in my head while I was crying.
As I was crying in my wife's arms, I kept saying out loud ''im sorry. Im sorry.''
She said stop saying sorry....... I said i'm not saying sorry to you, i'm saying sorry to God!
That's the point in my life that made me do a 90 degrees in my life. Complete change after that day. It was like a Father disciplining his child for misbehaving. It was a spiritual clap on my face, he completely destroyed my pride. Crushed it, gone.
That's the beauty of it... Through darkness and sin, God can blossom beauty in your life. God will give you hope and you will never be alone again. If he saved a wretch like me... he can save anyone....
The next day I went to my parent's house and I asked my dad for his Bible. As I started reading I read the same page like 10 times. Because I could not believe what had just happened: everything started making sense. It was like I put on glasses for the first time and the words made sense to me! The actual creator of the universe has his own book...and I never bothered to read it.... Today looking back, if I actually died that day, God would have judged me righteously and I would be sent to hell 100% sure no questions asked. So I thank God that he delivered me from that! Often we think we are invincible... The fact is, death is waiting for us all. You never know when you will die and meet your creator. This whole life is to prepare you for THAT moment. The most important moment of your life : your death - your eternity!
So Mikael, just be true to yourself. What do you want? Are you willing to give up EVERYTHING for God? All of your sins? Are you willing to follow righteousness in your life, and love your neighbor and your enemies as you love yourself? If you are, my friend this will be the most powerful spiritual experience you will ever have, you will never want to get high or chase over false spirituality in your life. This is it!!! Talk to him and he will listen. If you want to get down on your knees and pray out loud, do it! Knock and he will open the door.

As someone who practied New Age belief systems previously, it's very paradoxical to me that while it's a common belief in new age that we are all god-like, that those powers can only come through if you sit doing nothing for long periods of time, spend all your time cooking "pure" vegan food, and attain a fleeting state of perfection of consciousness that only comes once in a blue moon... and try to make it happen all the time.
Thank you so much for opening my eyes. I think it's safe to say that I am a "survivor" of new age. It quite literally drove me to insanity and I was in a situation where it had almost caused me to take my life. Serious question. I consider myself a person of deep faith. Tho I’m trying to decipher if there is a current faith today that is not tainted by the “devil” or chaos. Based on the biblical idea that we are living in the devils domain and all we see and touch is his technically. When you trace most symbolism in the world today it leads to apparent “demonic” interpretations of physical reality and is anti Christian god. Ie Star of David which was brought on by Zionist movement of European Jews. The Islam star and Islamic pegan origins along with worship of black boxes and such. Tho in this new Christianity age we find the physical cross that these romans took upon themselves to supposedly murder Jesus. ( I say supposedly due to not being there) We can also see pegan rituals being done in the Vatican today. So my question is. Is the people who killed Jesus.

I had just purchased a brand new book, I believe by Tony Robbins, and was just about to sit down and start reading it. I heard a 'voice' come from deep within me saying 'Are you going to believe this man, or are you going to believe MY WORD! It really startled me. I threw this brand new bk in the garbage, picked up my bible, and started reading. A few days later my wife and I destroyed every 'New Age' bk I had purchased. JESUS is the ONLY way. I use to be big into the "new age" movement, but at the end of October the holy spirit brought me to a ministry thay explained the Bible to me and I've been studying it ever since. Like it spawned from my brain and later behold they explain what I thought, and meditating, I was told is bad throughout religion, yet I can feel the positive effects from meditating, and new age is similar to Christianity to, they believe in Jesus and Spirit or God too, Adam eve it’s all there and it all makes the most sense to me, but not only that what about lucid dreaming or astral projection, why is it that millions on millions of people have these out of body experiences and claimed to talk to God himself and see real time things happening all before waking up? No one needs to be 'new age' to be spiritual. Some of the most self-righteous people I've ever met are new age or consider themselves spiritual. There is a lot of self-righteousness amongst it even the ones that talk about love and light. A lot of it is very conditional and if you're judged to question things too much you're a 'negative vibration' and ostracised from the new age club and treated with anger and hostility. I've seen this over and over even with some high profile spiritual speakers I've met..
It’s funny how they act like it’s all about me me me. Not realizing it’s only pushing themselves away from close people. I fell into this trap long ago i was so lost and emotional. Then I started following this new age leader that thought us affirmations, white light healing, rebuilding our lives which meant destroying relationships that are holding us back. I broke up with my girlfriend at the time because I thought she was holding me back. Even knowing she was going though tough times.. I have broken many of my relationships with wonderful people. One my friends who was in the program got rid of not only me but pushed away his parents and our self improvement coach away. It took me many years to realize what it was doing to my life. Until I was experiencing paranormal activity at night from getting into yoga and channeling energy with a powerful but popular yogi (I forget his name) I went on my knees to Jesus Christ to save me. I was so hurt and in tears because of the loss and putting everything I had into self improvement. I was left with nothing. But Jesus was there to catch me in the end when I could no more. I’m still trying to slowly throw away everything I’ve learned and give my life to Jesus completely. I could not believe it I thought I was doing the right thing because a lot of people practice self improvement and new age practices life meditation and yoga??? I was so surprised how many people are being deceived right now in front of me... even the people that I looked up to. All I can do is pray for everyone.

Chances are if Jesus were on earth today, he would be hanging out with the 'sinners' because they are at least being open and honest about who they are BUT these fake Christian leaders and leaders across the board, dare to judge, condemn and put down people for doing things that they do too but hide it. Very glad you found your way 💛 I am a Muslim and found my way too. I saw devils around me and other creatures. I am very sensitive so I can feel the presence and hear voices and see. I realised many things. Once I started reading the Baqra verse they ran away haha. When you talk about oppression and spiritual bondage I know exactly what you mean. Like a chain with a ball at the end that doesn't let you run, was attatched to my heart. I had put a lot of money into books and cards and crystals,,,, when Jesus pulled me out I threw all of it away. I went and bought a bible. Walking through this store I came accross this book called: The Evangelicals Guide to Spiritual Warfare that popped out at me and it is really helping with everything going on. I recommend it for anyone who might need help guiding them to truth through this journey out, if they so choose. Blessings!
I see a lot of this ideology in the church which forced me to pick up my bible and run! I went back to the roots of my faith and abandoned all traditions and doctrines of man. I studied the Torah (the law) and wondered why I had so many Christians attacking me for doing so! It was basic stuff, basic principles and every commandment taught me how to love God and how to love my neighbor. I no longer had to question, it was right there, given by the father himself. Then he sent his beautiful son, so when I fell short, I could approach the throne and ask for forgiveness, no more would my crimes be punishable by death, halleluYAH! I found a home in the Hebrew roots movement, however, I am troubled to see these same, borderline gnostic, ideologies also starting to infiltrate there. It's very troubling, and every time I draw attention to these things, ie. Flat earth, aliens and hybrids, etc.. I get attacked. As man, I think that we do have a thirst to understand everything around us, but we can't begin to understand the awesomeness that is Yahweh the father and Yeshua the son, it's supernatural. The Gnostics did that in their day, and continue to deceive people and pervert the word to this day. I believe that a remnant is being regathered on earth today. The Shofar of the father is blowing and people are being drawn to the sound. His covenant is open to all who want to be part of it. But unlike a lot of churches tell us today, it will cost you. I met a man at a park once who spoke at length about reincarnation and how he believed he had kived past lives.
I waited until he eventually finished and then said, "Reincarnation is just a trick to get you to waste the only life you have."

Then we talked about Christ. I often wonder how that man is.
But reincarnation is real. There have been many stories, even those who were Christian and prayed to God for their children for another chance and then the children could remember their past lives. I believe God allows us to reincarnate for a second chance, or allows us to stay at Heaven.
The day I realize that I'm wrong is the day that I'm reading an occult book by Manly P Hall named the Lost key of Freemasonry. I've started having negative sensation and even nightmare, the first day I started reading the book but I have stopped and the rid of all those books.

Wow! I've been going back n forth in my mind on this subject without evening know what "the new age movement" is or that it even existed! My thought was people are realizing that the spiritual world is real but they're plugging into it in a wrong way, through darkness. not through the way, the truth and the light.

Pure "Christian Views" requires keeping the commandments if the Heavenly Father. Knowing that, most people refuse to follow the Heavenly Father and rather follow the vain/useless philosophies of men (Colossians 2:8 KJV), it's easier for the weak.

I got involved in this new age bullcrap and I've been regretting it ever since. I bought this lady's book and she channels an Egyptian God, Isis, and a few other beings that she claimed were of the light and christ consciousness. She was saying how you can call on them and has exercises in the book to do. I called on one of the beings and it has been following me since 2015. It has reeked havoc in my life. I eventually found out that this being is actually a demon and not some light being. This being tricked me and had me thinking I was communicating with my deceased mother and angels, etc. I just paid this lady to banish him and I'm hoping it worked. I wish I would've never gotten involved in this movement or bought that book.

I was born catholic, christian but because i never knew the word of god and my love for him never failed this was a sure way for satan to deceive me. “For even satan mascareds as light”... one of the verses that opened my eyes. Almost everyone says “love and light “ I lost my mom when young, was abused by my dad growing up after, and dont have much family support. I just turned 21, and have two cats my own apartment. Now as a Pagan (not a new age philosopher I will explain that as the post goes on) I do still enjoy watching and reading your material with an open mind. Now as a pagan I tend to stick with the traditional way things have been done so I am forced to dig a little deeper then the average new age thinker because they only brush the surface of these ancient belief systems and have a very vague and/or twisted view and understanding of the theology.
Now I for one commend you on your new journey and wish you well on your path I am pretty certain that you will not convince me other wise considering that all religion is basically the same preaching a very similar message. considering the fact I have been researching theology for the past 4 to 5 years now I have a decent understanding of several different religions and still not only dig deeper but also discover new religions you probably never herd of.
I don't know, I find it hard for one religion to be the end all be all source of power and creation in the universe mostly in part because every religion around the world is saying that their source is the correct god and religion and failing to follow this religion will result in some bad thing happening to you now or in the after life. But who says it's the only legit religion and this god is the one and only god? The bible (or insert any religious text here) or some other religious text written by man. I will admit my practice is more spiritual then dogmatic but these are just my thoughts.

I had no biblical knowledge to know what doves represented & later found out it was the Holy Spirit as in Jesus' baptism!!!! I was forever changed that night. My journey started with being born into Catholicism. By the time I was a teenager I was researching the history of Catholicism and other religions. I knew something wasn't right. I was also going to my dad's Pentecostal church but that wasn't right either. I started researching everything I could get my hands on looking for truth. I went through Shamanism, did Ayahuasca in Peru, went through Hinduism, Buddhism, the Occult, Kriya Yoga and after thinking I had gained so much from all the experiences I suddenly realized I was lost in the darkness. Jesus called me home. After years of struggling, losing my home and possessions twice I accepted Jesus and my Savior and my life completely turned around. My wife, kids and I have rebuilt our lives and things are going really well. Jesus is the way.

Crazy when you are shown the truth. You can get rid of it so fast. I was obsessed with the pick a card videos and I actually bought some tarot cards. I’ve also been into zodiac signs since I was 4 so I was practically a master at what I was doing. I was a full blown Christian at the same time going to church every Sunday and doing things to closer my relationship with god but at the same time I was getting closer to the Devil. I would do psychedelics, read tarot, go get my palms read, I have palm reading things in my room and native American beliefs. Idk I feel so discouraged with myself while I write this because as I’m writing it. I’m shown how bad I’ve been living and even in my room it’s still surrounding me I love the Lord so much though and he’s getting me out of this one step at a time and one realizations at a time. How do you know God’s real? Because when you call on his sons name Jesus Christ you can feel the Holt spirit wake up within you. And the spiritual awakening you’re looking for is God. Because when you’re surrounded by him you can feel his presence. You can feel a tingle within. Not once have I ever felt a high like a supernatural high. So y’all pay attention out there and seek the truth because that’s what is best for everyone.

"success" is a pretty subjective term. Steve isn't trying to get rich off these videos as he has said, so success to him would be having a group of people that are patient and wait for him to do his research before posting a new video. What about the people who spent the majority of their lives searching for God thru Jesus and the Bible but never found any peace, any comfort... just a continued sense of fear, unknowing, unrest & sadness?
What do you tell those same people who then opened themselves up to practices such as meditation, yoga, kundalini... basically energy work & a focus on mindfulness, gratitude, looking within to find what some refer to as Christ consciousness or a collective unity & found something that for the first time in their lives really resonated, gave them a sense of peace, purpose, release from the incessant fear of an eternity of damnation based not on character, not on good vs bad but rather whether or not you believed in the right religion?
There is a personal attachment to this inquiry bc that's very much been my story.
I haven't let go of God, let go of Jesus... just the fundamentalism that held me which was very much founded in fear. This belief system I've discovered for myself isn't rooted in a 'only 1 belief system holds the keys to heaven' ideology but rather an incorporation of some of the most ancient practices of multiple religions. I think it's crazy to believe that 1 single religion is 'it' or that any 1 religion has survived the corruption of mankind to utilize religion as a means of control.
I am told by fundamentalists that I will spend eternity in hell for practicing meditation or kundalini... seriously?
That leads me to question the 'doctrine of hell' (the primary aspect of Christianity that made me question everything in the 1st place)...
Does one really believe that our eternity will be determined based on what is 'a flash in the pan' moment of existence, a teeny tiny moment in time heavily influenced by where we are born, what culture we are born into, individual circumstances? One person's life may be 20 years and another's 80. The 80 yr old had 4x's the lifespan to find God & be saved but the 20 year old female killed unexpectedly by a drunk driver who was still on her spiritual quest goes to hell because she hadn't yet found true belief? Where is the justice in that?
What about the person born into the 'wrong culture' halfway around the world who is never exposed to Christianity? Eternity in hell? I don't understand that.
I'm still seeking. I'll always be seeking because we simply do not have the ability in this form to comprehend or know the truths of the immensity of the universe we live in. We are only able to both see or experience a tiny portion of it & living within the constraints of fundamental belief paints a very bleak, very sad picture.
Side note - you make a lot of claims that aren't true in this video about both sides.
-You claim personal beliefs that can't be substantiated as fact.
-You imply money must be spent to explore these practices...I haven't spent a dime.
-You suggest a sense of 'imprisonment' by new age beliefs but many find the opposite to be true.... it was meditation, keeping a journal expressing my gratitude, maintaining positive affirmations, or more aptly described within psychology as positive self talk, that helped bring me out of a crippling, years long depression.
-I don't really understand the designation as 'new age' when many of these practices are traced back to the most ancient of religions
- one needn't abandon belief in God or Jesus to take part in these practices...I certainly haven't. I pray daily. I feel more connected now than before probably because my choice is not guided by a immense fear of eternal fire.
- For reasons mentioned in my comment, it's much more inclusive. Fundamentalism is incredibly exclusive, condemning, demeaning .... I come across more hate in a day from fundamentalists than I have in 6 months of meditation and energy work.
- Being trained in the sciences, much of these practices focus on what we know to be scientific fact such as that we, & everything we encounter as 'matter' is in fact energy. Furthermore, physics has shown there are innumerable dimensions. Quantum physics takes it all to another level that I won't venture into on this platform.
I do think many use LOA for very superficial things & that it's been taken to a level by many that seeks to exclude any real spirituality but it's not representative of the whole.

I don’t know. Some new age beliefs might be pretty crazy but belief in the soul and the evolution of the soul or higher self thru reincarnation doesn’t really sound all that crazy to me. It certainly sounds less crazy to me than some of the stuff in the Old Testament like Eve being pulled from Adam’s rib, talking serpents, trees of the knowledge of good and evil,talking donkeys, staffs that turn into serpents, staffs that part oceans, rivers of water that turn into rivers of blood, manna from heaven, etc.. Also the god of the Old Testament seems more like a ruthless, bloodthirsty dictator than a transcendent being to me. God also seems perfectly fine with slavery(Leviticus25:44) and putting homosexuals to death(Leviticus 20:13). If you want to stay a Christian I would advise you not to read the Old Testament. I admit I have only read the first five books of it but it gives a pretty dark view of the Christian God. And I’m not trying to offend anyone. I’m just relaying my experience.

You have baptists, mormons, methodists, jehovah witnesses, catholics and they are all saying to each other the exact same thing that you are in this video. "My way is the only right way heres why".

The ignorance is often, but not always, self induced,or indoctrinated in followers or there is brain washing....not like older established religions where it is often a well ingrained part of culture and tradition. religions wither when people are educated, and begin to understand how things work, and are allowed to ask questions and develop critical thinking skills. "just because", or "God says" are no long adequate or satisfying answers.
There is no division/denomination(s) in the Bible (the book that Christians believe to be the true book of Truth). People throughout generations have made those up. That used to confuse me too. But please consider the fact that Christian's are what people were called that followed the teachings of Jesus. It's not a religion. Religion is often thought of as what you cant do and all the rules and regulations but following Jesus is really more liberating than anything. That's the part people dont get to understand or perhaps not articulated many times. Jesus was one of the least "religious" people in history, he was groundbreaking going against what many religious people in his own communities thought was acceptable. I dont know if any other religious leader ever made the claim to be THE TRUTH, but Jesus did so if you REALLY want to know about truth I dont know about you but I would definitely start there with the man who made such a bold claim. Jesus is God's son who lived on this Earth to give us an example of how we should live our lives. Ask him to come in your heart and you can begin the real journey of truth that you may be seeking. God will become more real than ever to you and you can ask him the hard questions too.
There's so much more I could say but I think that's a start. I just dont want people to be confused. We who believe in Jesus feel obligated to tell others about Jesus because we have experienced such a wonderful gift (truth, love, understanding, peace and so much more) through Jesus Christ and we want to share it with the world! It's our duty to share and whether you receive or not, we at least know we did our part. Everyone didn't accept while Jesus himself was on Earth either ;but many people to this day can attest that knowing Jesus changed their life forever.
Nancy Cousintine... If you are not ready to believe, nobody can help you... Pls read The Acts of the Apostles, do some research in the internet about those guys mentioned in that book... You will get it.
It's not about religion it's about a relationship with Jesus Christ and staying in God's word daily before you read your Bible should always pray to God to give you discernment and knowledge to understand what he's trying to tell you you pray this every time you read the Bible he will speak directly to you but you must believe it's called Blind Faith
AMEN! stay in His Word. don't read other books or get into arguments with so-called 'intellectual' christians. spiritual things are spiritually appraised. You made a good point. sometimes we can get pulled away too long, with those that want to be argumentive. we need to keep.our peace and the sheep like ones will hear his voice, when their heart is ready.
I remember arguing on Facebook with this guy back when I was in Brendon Culliton's group. I rode the new age train for a while after that and for so long I learned things but could never find a definitive straight answer or meaning to all my questions. Now I've finally found Christ. So thanks Steven, you may not remember those old Facebook arguments, but whatever seeds you planted, it looks like it they bore fruit.

Well I mean God knowledge shows us things we can’t really comprehend ourselves. He might of meant knowledge as in just relying on our own knowledge
He said you don’t have to dig through esoteric knowledge to find God. You can be the lowest IQ man of all and still find Him if you seek Him out with all your heart. That’s beautiful that everyone is loved and wanted, not only the hyper-intelligent or especially curious. Having a problem with that is honestly really egotistic.

I discovered you through a David Heavener video. Thank you for your Testimony. I too was deep in the new age movement and have since been Baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
