Yes! So sorry for the delayed response. I edited the description box so there's no confusion. I added way too much milk in my filling in the video causing so much leftover so I cut it down to 1/3 cup in the description.
You should say separate the sugar into two separate bowls cause your gonna use half with the egg whites after beating them and for the cake batter. I poured all the sugar into the batter 🤦🏽♀️
By 1 cup sugar divided do you mean 1/2 cup for one and then the other half for the egg whites? Cause I got confused cause I used all my sugar for the egg batter first

Hmm... I would probably add either chocolate syrup or cocoa powder to the soaking liquid and if you want it extra chocolatey I would add some cocoa powder to the cake batter. Try it out and lmk if it works. I’ll have to give it a try too.

How long did you end up baking them for?
They bake really fast, 10 min or so but I constantly poke with toothpick to see if it comes out clean and then I know it’s done
My cupcakes deflated after it was taken out the oven. Do you have that issue?
