i got one and had to run it for over 6h straight for concrete prep for tile with a diamond cup wheel it was keeping up w all the corded grinders if anything doing better w stacked lithium batteries
I have that FLEX grinder but i could have it any other way but a switch. If i am correct it has that twist turn technology that will shut it off in case of an accident.
I have a flex 1/2" cordless drill and the cordless router and I love them both. The drill I have I love the fact that that it has like a clutch so that if you are drilling and it like binds up the clutch acts and stops the drilling process. Other drills if the bit binds up in the metal or whatever you are drilling and you don't get the trigger released it will twist arm and we have all done that and we know how that hurts. The Flex drill won't do that. I've had this drill for a year and I love it. It is not the Hammer drill. Eric you are right about the router it is really powerful and cuts really well, Love it as well. The only complaint I have is the Price. If they were alitte cheaper I would replace all my corded tools with these.
I have way too many tools from the Flex line. They are incredible. My favorite so far is their orbital sander. I use that thing ALL DAY LONG as a furniture person. It's just so tough and so reliable. You can't wear it out. My second favorite is their impact driver. That this is a perfect piece of engineering including the button to remove the bit. No more fussing with the collet. I also LOVE the router. It's brilliant. My only pet peeve is the dust port plastic cover takes a bit of getting used to in removing and putting it back on. Not was easy as it should be. You have to do that to take advantage of the slide button that locks the collet - which means no more two wrench fussing when replacing router bits. I could go on an on but they are doing it right.
Thank you for the review. I'm going to go out and purchase the grinder! I already have five Flex tools so I'm just adding to the platform. I have nothing negative to say about any of the Flex tools I own
Have owned my first one for 3 years now 0⃣ problems with the tool or the battery liked it so much got another one a year ago I have used it to cut 1 1/4 I beam it had no problem doing it either
I use it alot during fence repair and it pulls through so yeah I like it alot. Wood wise I thing it having variable speed makes it so it can accept some arbor tech or other craving discs
Really like these reviews. The Flex tools look like the cutting edge of power tools. A lot of thought and expense has gone into making them. Too costly for most DIY's, but anyone who makes their living working with these type tools would be well advised to invest in them for the long term.
@@dwaynecoleman2273my acme kit just came in. unbelievable deal for the quality. I’ve been a believer in flex since I got my hands on the turbo hammer drill. they’re building something special and the extended lifetime warranty tells me they believe in their tools.
$250? I just preordered the kit, Grinder, charger and 5.0 battery for $125 shipped from Acme Tools. Thanks for the review. I've been contemplating a cordless grinder for some other projects. This one fit the bill and more!
WOW, congratulations, That's a smoking hot deal for that package. We love ours, so many uses. Just be safe, I consider these things to be one of the most dangerous tools I have. Thank you for watching ❤
@@oldave100 Yes, I kind of expected it though. The flex will still serve a purpose but if anyone is looking for pure power go makita corded all day. The flex seems to be weaker and vibrate sooooo much more then my makita sjs
I have to admit I would trust you guys's opinion over. Almost anyone because I know you guys are honest and open.
We really appreciate that, Charlie! We don't want anyone wasting their hard earned money on gear and tools that won't work.

Flex tools really are awesome!
I have that FLEX grinder but i could have it any other way but a switch. If i am correct it has that twist turn technology that will shut it off in case of an accident.
I'm not sure about that. We use the paddle witch so if we drop it or there's an accident it automatically shuts off.

I agree 100%! They are top notch tools, for sure, but they're a bit expensive. However, you get what you pay for so it's understandable.

Couldn't agree more! They really have upped the game👍👍
Another great review. These Flex tools look like my next upgrade tool line!
You're gonna love them, man! We look for any reason to break out the flex tools HAHA

Man, the FLEX tools are top notch. Check out our review on the new table saws that'll be coming out next month. They're awesome!!
Will do@@oldave100

Our FLEX tools are by far the best tools we own. They're a solid company!
Thank you for the review do you have a video of different uses for it to make wood rustic
We actually used it to do the edges on a custom archery stand. Check it out here ruclips.net/video/4lFZX2fi68s/видео.html

That's a good point. Looks like we'll have to get some more tools soon HAHA

Thanks Jim! They're definitely great tools. If I was still in construction I'd get everything they have 😂😂
Got mine on acme tools the whole kit for a 99 dollars. They normally have better deals than Lowes. Good grinder.

@ericrhoten what grinder wheel are you using for your wood signs?
We use the Kutzall discs. Depending on the material we're using, it's either the medium coarse or the extreme coarse
Excellent review. Thank you. If I needed one they would have won me over with the automatic stop and battery powered.
Thanks Carmen! Honestly, Flex makes some of the best tools we've ever used.

Im making mine into a multitool, into a drill, recipricating saw, hand saw with plate and into an ossicilating tool. With adapter
I could even do mini chainsaw but we'll see if that be worth it
Nice job EZ E. A kid in a candy store...lol...🤘🤘🤘🤘
😂😂You got that right!
👍👍👍.Thanks Eric
You got it, buddy!
I wish it had on tool wrench storage but other than that it’s been great for me
Ya, that would be nice if it had a spot for the wrench.
just got this flex, not even close to the strength of my makita corded SJS
Really? It sure seemed to be a workhorse
@@oldave100 Yes, I kind of expected it though. The flex will still serve a purpose but if anyone is looking for pure power go makita corded all day. The flex seems to be weaker and vibrate sooooo much more then my makita sjs
@brodyllc I would always expect corded to perform better anyways.
