A friend of mine bought a 413 lwb a few years ago, it had already been modified quite a bit with a VW 1.9 sdi engine, 6.5 to 1 Calmini low range transfer gears, front and rear ARB difflocks, he then installed a front winch and power steering from a jimny, raised the suspension and fitted wider rims with slightly bigger mud terrain tyres, it was excellent off road (used mainly for shooting) but quite slow on the road, it was replaced with a double cab 4x4 pickup.

I used to have one. I miss it some days.. but then I recall all the electrical issues and such.
