Thanks for the tips and tricks. I have a Helix 7. It’s nice to know that 2 different brands can still work together as long as you know what you’re doing. Thanks as always to the attention to detail. 👍 Tight Lines!!!
Where is the 2nd video of customizing wiring the switch panel I got 1st vid, you said you were going to do scull wire of running power they switch from fuse panel I can’t find the video
For someone like me who isn't tech savvy, I was able to follow process and successfully transfer waypoints. Much appreciated!!

Subscribed for the great information. Thank you!
Thank you so very much!! It worked!!!😅
Great video! Very thorough and easy to follow. I did not see a link for the file conversion website. I will go back through the video to get the URL.
Also, I did not find a prompt for Position Format after switching to Custom on Helix 8.
I did find Position Format on the Helix 7 (which is older) and it worked so all good. Thanks!

How's your recovery going so far?
Going good man.
So I've done this as you instructed, it will download up to 13% on my garmins then quits and no matter wich unit it's in will shutdown. Any ideas?
@daviddeaton942 sorry, not sure in this case
Thank you for responding, looks like I'll be calling garmin Friday
Even in custom mode I don’t have the option for format position on my helix 20 g4n???
Make sure you're in 'Custom' view like the video says. Hit menu and then go to 'Data Sources' and then go to 'GPS Settings' and you'll find it.
