    Excellent guide! I am new to iRacing and this helped me so much. I was totally wrong on my breaking and turn in markers. Thank you so much!

    Really helpful this for a rookie like me. Surprised how early you’re turning into some of those bigger sweepers so certainly learnt something there. Thanks

    I’m going to attempt the advanced Mazda series and your lap times are 3 seconds faster than mine, I’m hoping I can imitate some of your shifting and turning points to pick up speed. Thank you for posting this guide! New subscriber here

      Thanks for that! Good luck with your races! FYI: Channel members get access to my VRS team, so can compare laps like-for-like and get all my files.

    Good guide. It's frustrating that I have most of the gearing and turn in points nailed on this course, just a few corners are hanging me up. This helps key in on a few mistakes. Thanks!

    Hey man, very nice video! I started playing iracing 2 days ago with zero driving experience. I don't even know how to drive a real car. I don't have a wheel, only an xbox controller. In my first day, I wasn't even capable of staying inside the track. My car was also oversteering and understeering in every corner. On my 2nd day, I started to get better and better and better and I was able to stay inside the track at lower speeds but at least I was finishing the laps. On day 3, I started to gain more speed and soon after I managed to do my fastest lap at 1:51! After this video, I think I should be able to improve my time a bit more!

    I'll have torace here this week. Getting a little obsessed with with the mini track in the FF though, it's wild!

      It’s pretty crazy - never driven that Charlotte layout before.

    Another good track guide. As an aside, are you still using the Bimarco seat? how as it aged?

      Thanks, Ian. Yes, it’s the Cobra 2. In terms of wear, it’s fine and lasting well. It’s very stiff / firm, though! I bought it for the price / form factor (since I’m poor and lacking space). If I had £$€ I’d upgrade, but she’s served me well (if a bit of a harsh mistress).

    This is a good lap.. my record is 1:45,2... But I'm strugling to understand how someone can do 1:42 according to the world record in iRacing table, can anyone explain if this is with stock setup ??

    can i get your sound setting?

    • @FindingSpeed
      @FindingSpeed  9 месяцев назад +1

      I just turn down all sounds except tyres - need to hear what they’re doing. More screech means less speed.
