I really enjoy these conversations between Jay Leno and Donald Osborne. Educational, funny and very entertaining.. Please do more together!
Secretly, Jay wants to own every single one of these cars! I love you, Mr. Leno! Keep on preserving history.
21:53 The picture is of the next car they're talking (the gull-wing successor) while Jay is talking about the transporter of Formula 1 cars Mercedes had. The fact that no one noticed while editing and approving the video show how little people at Pebble Beach actually know about cars.
Are we the only people that has notice that...?And yes I agree with what you sad, I mean Jay says they were carrying race cars with that, nobody wandered how can someone carry a race car with that!! :)).
@@jaxmk1 We certainly seem to be, comment is a year old lol
what a mess in this simplistic slideshow where for 10 minutes they talk about a race transporter and they show the concept car of the Mercedes C-111.Unbelievable
Been waaaaiting for this video to post.
They are an enjoyable combination
I’m A Long Time Fan Jay . As A Mechanic & amateur Motorcycle drag and sports racer, I can truly say you and Donald are true car guys I love you both seriously
That '67 Chrysler Imperial reminds me of Milburn Drysdale.
A recording or multiple recordings of your favorite car engine noise played out a CD player or memory card through 8"10" inch sub woofer 12" option all electric.
wrong slide at 23:23 ? how is that a transporter? I think I've seen what should be there.
then at 25:19 they show the transporter? wtf no one says anything?
How on earth someone made that mistake 🤣
This introductory person made the video inwatchable.
Some of the pictures were not in correct order.
Wow! So great, thank you!
Several of these videos exist with Jay and Donald, and one theme that runs through them is how many times the images are of the wrong vehicle. It's a mess. It makes the whole enterprise look amateurish and half baked, and should have been fixed afterward. It's a case of history being rewritten by the guy who can't master the rudiments of Powerpoint.
Absolutely amazing the guy dressed like a nut is the voice of reason and the everyday guy is really the nut ...love it...the nut is a hero to me...
Ken Lee me too very much so, and very well said
@Danny DeVito vote republican get ur self respect back
@Danny DeVito lmao...u sux as a troll!!!! I was hoping you would be more imaginative an fun .
@Danny DeVito now I'm just laughing at you...
@@kenlee6126 vote MAGA get DEEZ NUTZ
Jay and Donald that was great from a ford linc mercury guy
Shouldn't it have been the Mercedes transporter thing and not the Mercedes Wankel thing?
edit: Yeah you switched them around. :(
yes. should be describing the blue 300sl gullwing transporter and c111 but the photos switched
Who dressed Donald Osborne a circus owner perhaps?
Some of the pictures don’t match what they are talking about.
No shit. Who cares?
Nice introduction☺
Jay - 1936 was the Olympic year, not 1938.
😍😍😍😍😍
Imagine jay’s insurance bill. Of course , he can afford it.
I’m not sure he has one.
Would have been easier to watch if the host didn't say uhm and uh so much!
1:03:47 I wouldn't do that today
@Giant Killer it is what it is
I visited the Clenet factory when I was in high school. The boys were appalled and the girls thought they were cute. Typical.
Donald clearly does not have Jays depth of knowledge...
Keep Jay and his humor and history and dump the Other guy.
Love to hear two car guys with encyclopedic knowledge just talk.
