4:00 You can tell Tades was thrilled to sing Featuring Mark Hoppus acoustically from the intense stare following Chris adding it to their set list unconsentually
@@bezwin235 you'd be surprised how many "audibles" get called or just off the cuff things happen with live performances. Good artists read the room and adjust accordingly.
Just saw them at When We Were Young! Some random dude and I started the a-cappella rendition of “How do you know…” because their mics and sound wasn’t working to start. Such a great time!!!
Dude I was sad summer at Cincy and bogart when they played with Spanish love songs and heart attack both times I crowd surfed to the front and over the gates ABOUSLUTLY SCREAMING MY LUNGS OUT BETTTTTTY BEEETTYYYYYYYY BETTTTTTYYYYYY because it wasn't on the song list the security at bogarts was not happy lmao
was this show tiny and intimate? did you get to hang out with the band after? little acoustic sets like this always make me super jealous bc i always feel like the audience gets to like hang out with the band more lol
@@oliverjackson3761 They're trying to coin the term 'post emo' despite just being a pop punk band. It's especially dumb (not to mention pretentious in general) now whenever their music is shifting away from their emo roots into Fall Out Boy-tier pop even more than it initially did before.
@@NicDoesDumbThingsHorrible take lmao. The whole post emo term is ironic. Do you really hear anything remotely close to Fall Out Boy’s poppier sound on the new Hot Mulligan record?
i still don't get how people say betty is the saddest song ever. Heem wasn't there he literally says he'd put the gun to his mouth if he knew he could trade places with the person that's slipping away. "i know you can't live forever but may be one more week" that one hurts. I shouldn't be bothered by this, but here I am.
i think it’s 1) people have lost more pets than people and 2) pets love you unconditionally vs people can kinda suck even tho like it’s sad when they pass.. at least in my experience losing a pet is way worse than losing a person. and i’ve lost tons of people.
In October I lost my two baby girls (my lovely pet rats) a week apart they were almost 3 years old, this song hurts more now especially since it’s a song about his ratty girl too so I understand the feeling so much . I will always sob, thinking of them while I listen because it’s exactly how it feels to lose them and getting their ashes at the vets was so hard each time. That’s why this song will be the saddest song for me now

tades forgetting the words to his own songs is 10/10 😂 i love shit like that
Chris Writes A lot of Lyrics too

I think it’s a little crazy if you think this wasn’t all completely rehearsed

Imma be the older guy in 20 years vibing to hot mulligan
43 now. That's me. It's ok to keep listening to good music as you get older.
betty breaks my heart. My dog has heart disease and I deal with it every day. throw all the money I can at her. she's the best.
been waiting for this to come into my recommended. Watched their vlog about this and really wanted to watch. Seeing them in November!
I can listen to sad songs about losing people with a problem but the second a sad song about a dead dog comes on I instantly start crying.
it’s about his pet rat :(
damn guys your music is literally filled with electricity, the only drawback is i didn't hear of u sooner

Gans Media Retro Games is a banger
"Heem is catchy, Betty is rough."
Heem: dealing with the grief of the loss of a human being
Better: dog died

can't believe they didnt do the bridge on featuring mark hoppus
What brand of guitars are those?
Why do I feel like lead singer and guitarist arent on the same page with the setlist?
I think they were just making up as they went it sounded like. It seems like a last second “hey wanna play at a record shop” type of thing
Betty will forever wreck me.
Lolll fantasy camp (the bass player) sitting in the background watching in silence
