Kubo is an absolute baller. Would take him in a heartbeat.
I’m a RM fan so this is my take on TK. He is a good kid and is a nice player. Small size works against him sometimes but short burst of speed and change of direction are his keys to beating defenders. Pure on the wing he is lost. If allowed to cut inside he has a beautiful left foot that can serve a shoot or pass with accuracy. Good in build up and links up well. Not a pure killer in goals but if used as mid forward 10 position he is a good player. I like him a lot and madrid fans have good vives for him. Gutsy and hard worker. Quality player don’t know if price at 60 is value but he has talent and as Japanese player lost of followers.

Takefusa Kubo really excites me, I believe the quality we have at Liverpool could make him more consistent and it would be a statement signing for us in this transfer market. Hoping we can take that one further! 🤞

It’s really worrying to see so many signing Man Utd are making and being linked to as we at LFC are a bit too quiet! We know we need 3 players with CB, CDM and right sided striker needed unless we are planning a formation like 4-2-3-1 which I genuinely don’t see happening! So stressful to see the way we are going mountings as is feels with KLOPPO going it feels as tho we for some reason can’t operate and have more players rumoured to be leaving or in the last year of their contracts… smells like a crisis brewing!!!
I was urging for us to go for Dean Huijsen 3 months ago. He should not cost as much as 30m - would have thought more like 20m would get him. I see him as a good fit because he would be happy to be a back-up for VVD initially (which is what we want, going for a current star like Hincapie , Calafiori or Goncalo is tricky because they will expect to be first choice), he is two footed and plays LCB, he is very tall, is very good on the ball, and he has now played a full season in Serie A on loan at Roma. I think he still looks a bit thin, so will need to build some muscle for the Prem, but he is still a teenager and physically still developing.
I’m a united fan, but I believe Klopp left because he knew the board won’t back him up! Klopp knew you can’t compete with the likes of city is by buying and building the team!

We need to bring in a CB, Ait-Nouri, Ederson and a forward, whoever that may be. I dont want panic buying, but I dont want to spend all summer chasing a player and missing out, to then have to go buy what we can at the last minute like last couple of seasons.

relatively relaxed here. I think the majority of Liverpool fans realise we have a very good squad and only need to add genuine quality. So it's more important that we get the right players and do not panic buy to appease fans. We expect the younger players to go up a level (Jones, Elliott, Bradley, Quansah etc, as well as expecting the likes of Szoboslai and Gravenberch to do like wise etc) so for me, we have more than enough quality to be competitive and get us at least up to January. So we have time. So this summer should be all about tying down players like Allison etc. And the players we do add need to have the quality to push for first 11 slots. We do not require quantity, we require genuine quality. So it's important we get these signings right and do not panic. we'll be fine.

Either they have their targets secured already and just waiting for players to return from holidays etc. or we have we no intention of signing anyone of any real quality and going again with what we have.
