Hey there Rod. Thanks again for giving us a rundown of the individual sections in the Trident. For me it's interesting to see this Pedal, which is in the same sort Price range as my Boss GX-100, and how it does similar things. I have my GX set up as 4 Individual Clean/Modulated "Patches" and 4 Dirty OD/Dist x 2/Fuzz. I assign one switch to turn Amp Sim on for DI/Recording and off if I go into my Amp. As an Old bloke that has rediscovered Electric Guitar a couple of years ago, it blows my mind what is available today compared to 1978 - 1981 when I was playing Bass in a couple of Bands. Cheers Pete
Hi Rod, how are you? I have a doubt, which I also asked a person from this comment section that said he owns a Nux Trident, so I get response from both of your experiencies😊. I am doubting about picking a Trident, but I'm not sure: does the Trident allow you to use it as an Audio Interface by itself on others DAW softwares not only for recording, but also to use and try their different presetings or guitar audios especifically from those softwares and not the ones in the Trident? Or is it only usable on the Trident Editor Software with its efects? The thing is, that i don't own an Audio Interface or a multieffect pedal either, so I would be very interested in this Nux product if I could use it as both: from one side, use it as what it is, the Trident with its efects, and then, when I want to try presetings from other softwares, be able to use it as an Audio Interface. Thanks, and sorry for my spelling, I'm mot from an English speaking Country. Greetings!
Hi mate. The Line 6 gear is ahead on sound, for sure. The trident hardware is well built, but the screen may as well not be there. If I had to pick, I’d go Line 6 every day.
@michaeldarrin2026 Hi Michael! How are you? I saw your comment on another video, saying that you own a Nux Trident. I am doubting about picking one, because it seems amazing, but I have a question about it. Does the Trident allow you to use it as an Audio Interface by itself to try new plugins or audio settings from others DAW softwares? Or it is only able to use it along with Nux Trident editor? Thanks, and sorry for my spelling, I'm not from an English speaking country. Greetings!
Killer intro Rod! I wish i had demos like this for my modelling amp. You guys really deep dive into it. Well done
Thanks Chip. What modeling amp do you have?
I have the Marshall CODE 50. I love it but the resources for using it were minimal. Still figuring it out to this day lol
Thank you for doing such an in depth demo. I have just ordered a Trident and it's great to get a deep insight into it before it arrives.

Glad it was helpful!

Hi Pete! Yes, we are spoiled for choice. I reckon you’re on a winner with the GX-100!

Nice work mate!
Thanks a lot!

Hi Rod, how do feel the Trident holds up against the Line 6 helix, pod go....

I'm with you on the small screen, unless you have you presets memorized for live use it is fairly useless.@@thepedalpicassos

How about showcasing products that do not come from China?
Hi Tigerbaum. We show gear from all points of the compass: USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and China.
