    NU-X are killing it lately. This appears to be a serious piece of good gear. I almost bought an MG-30, but eventually went with a POD Go. Had the Trident been out when i bought, this would have probably got me to bite on NU-X. Great video Leon as always. God bless and rock on 🎸👍😎

      @@VOX-TRO I don't think Nux' high gain modeling is the best. It's not bad but you'd be better off maybe with the Pod Go or HX Stomp, if metal is what you're after. I mostly use medium gain, classic marshall amps and stuff like the Hi-Watt which are all amazing on the MG-30.

      @@VOX-TRO yeah in my opinion, the nux shines in everything but the high gain stuff fails to blow me away. I like the JCM 800 and the Friedman is good but too gainy for what I want in a Friedman. I rarely use the other metal amps ever. It's far from bad, but other modelers do higher gain better.

    I'm so glad you made this video! I've watched EVERY video I can find for the Trident (including your previous ones) and the sound just wasn't grabbing me. This was the first demonstration that showed straightforward tones that I could hear myself using. In theater, there's a translucent curtain called a scrim at the front of the stage that can be used to create a barrier from the main set. When I think of audio, I often think of some signals as being behind the scrim. This was the first demo that was in front of the scrim. Hope that makes sense!

    • @sexyguitarboy69
      @sexyguitarboy69 Год назад

      My discrete pedalboard goes from left (tuner, wah, drives) to right (trem, delay, reverb) 😊 Each of us can organize the board as needed or wanted. I use to read from left to right, so probably that's why I like to see my signal flow the same way, too. The same goes for amps: heads built into a combo housing often show a mirrored controls layout because the manufacturers produce only one amp version for both head and combo versions.

    • @darwinsaye
      @darwinsaye Год назад

      @@sexyguitarboy69 Yes, I can understand that since we in the western world read left to right, it might seem more natural to see our pedals that way, but the fact is that the inputs and outputs on hardware pedals go right to left. It would seem very impractical and messy to me to wire all my pedals with extra long patch cables going all the way around each pedal, just so I can see my pedal chain the same way I read, since, I’m not reading them like a book - but as you say, to each their own.

      @@LeonTodd Thanks for the response but in the future can you show how you would use it with a regular amp and cabinet? Or with a guitar head and what to match it with please? Also the Leviathan question?

    the funny thing is that there is now a whole new generation that has grown up listening too and learning on CRAP sounding distortions and they think that when something sounds "ok" that it sounds GREAT .... good sonic sensibility is getting drowned out by mediocrity and the lack of understanding the difference.... and when dinosaurs like me have vanished from this earth they will never even know what they are missing because they will truly think that what they have is GREAT and NOT MEDIOCRE.... but thats what it is....and all it will ever be.......... MEDIOCRE... and they have no clue.... SAD REALLY... ✌😎
