Thanks for this, it saved me being towed to the dealer on a flatbed. I cut the leads and joined them. Not safe, I know, but I didn’t want to chase after the sensor. On mine though the ignition went through the sensor. I tried to jump the solenoid on the starter and the engine would crank but wouldn’t run.
Hey Cousin, I had no idea you had a RUclips channel! Awesome stuff! I watched your video of the flooding and roads washed out in Jasper. Crazy stuff! Been a long time since I've been there, but it all looks the same. Hope you and the family are well.
I'm your cousin, your Mom is my Aunt...I know that's pretty damn vague. I grew up in Hedgesville, next to Uncle Joe's place. I would tell you but it's way more fun to have you guessing lol
Hello, I just had an issue with my 4400, searched for a fix and came across your video,, my issue is the tractor will start but only stay running if I leave the ignition in the cranking position. As soon as I let the key return to is “on” position, the tractor will die. In order to move the tractor the starter motor kept spinning, not good I know, but this allowed the tractor to run to get it back in the shop. Could it be a safety switch or possibly the ignition switch? Thanks for any info you may have.
I tried helping a neighbor on his Deere 5065E. I am not familiar with tractors, but his won't start and shows pto light, dirty exhaust filter, and exclamation point. I disconnected the neutral sensor and then used a jumper. I also unplugged pto 5 or 6 pin plug and the light turned off on dash. Any help will be appreciated.
I had a merry go round session with the seat safety on my Kubota. The Engine died every time I engaged the PTO. The contact is a plate on the seat against a button. There is no adjustment. I replaced the switch… no improvement. I taped a slug from an electrical box on the plate. It worked perfectly. About a month later I was washing the tractor and noticed a stick wedged in the hinge of the seat. I pulled it out and the seat settled down… so, I took off the washer. It runs great! Wanna buy a safety switch for a Kubota seat?

It doesn’t say your name. Who are you? Things up here don’t change much. Thank you for watching.
