I've been listening and learning with you since before the plandemic 🙏 You have taught me how to live a longer, healthier, stronger, painfree life. For that I am very grateful ❤ 😎💪🏼thank you
As an extreme heart patient who followed my doctors direction regarding food and statins only to stop having cardiac events after eating 🍽️ massive meat 🥩 & no sugar. Thank you ❤️
Great episode - thank you so much for dedicating the time to this. I recall hearing you say in an episode about year ago I think that "low cholesterol is the kiss of death", so since I've been part of your crowd eager for more info. This was amazing insight into how multifacited and impactful chol is overall. I've been scrubbing around various resources trying to find a fair range of 'healthy' cholesterol levels - not trusting of medicals ranges and interpretations. My FM isn't super freaked out about my levels but LDL leans higher ((107), over all is 207)). I only mentioned details becuase my husband is celebrating his very VERY low (med induced) cholesterols and Im so confused (maybe a little worried) about the dramatic variations in responses from cariology/medical field vs functional crew. Still looking for recommended healthy ranges if you have it! Love your stuff...thanks again!
My A1C is 5.3 ,LDL IS 107, tri 105, but just had a heart attack with 90+% blockages. Had an advanced cholesterol test with particle sizes and my numbers were off the charts high.
Diet and health are bioindividual. Some people cannot safely eat a lot of saturated fats. Some people cannot eat a lot of carbs. We have to figure out our own optimal diets with n-of-1 self-experiments.
How does one raise HDL if you’re already doing all the things: weight training, eating clean (plus lots of beef and eggs), NDT the works. Would love a podcast on hacking HDL!
