@@ltb1345 Neither Luke, nor Rey are Mary Sues either. Most people have a very incorrect definition of what a Mary Sue actually is, ESPECIALLY the people I see most using it. A Mary Sue has ZERO, and I mean ZERO explanation as to how they're so powerful. To start and end the debate, Luke is the son of Vader, Force affinity is confirmed to be genetically passed down, and he was trained by two Master Jedi. Rey was a creation of the Light Side of the Force itself, at a Force Nexus, and is the daughter of a Palpatine clone (genetic affinity, again), and was trained by Luke, and Leia. So no, they're not Mary Sues.
@@monkeysk8er33 Not true. Even if the story explains why the protagonist can do everything, there are still no stakes, no room for growth, no development. And no, Rey's explanation doesn't work. Loved this! Boba and Mando are my two favourite characters for all different reasons so seeing how they worked together in the finale made me super happy! I’m just disappointed, like Boba is this sketch, that he was sidelined for the ‘new guy’ so to speak. Loved the writing in this. ❤️
Really enjoyed this sketch! It's exactly how I felt about the show and Warp Zone delivered it in such a funny and ingenious way! Great job!! Loved the evil laugh at the end with "Mr. Mouse". Lol
I’ve been telling you idiots, it’s not Mickey’s fault! It’s Kathleen Kennedy’s fault! Fire her and get Dave and Jon as CEOs for Lucasfilm! Not some random woman.
Din is literally me in a debate about the series. I need a second part, I absolutely enjoyed it. Maybeeee.. we can also add Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane arguing who is the better cowboy.:D This is the way, have a nice day! Greetings, Lia-Din 😊
Even in the original trilogy, it's not like Boba had no sense of justice. To the contrary, he had a very strong sense of justice. He just had his own perspective on who the "good guys" were, placing his trust in authority rather than morality. But being left for dead by those he served, and subsequently being taken in by strangers, gave him a new perspective. That's how I see it, anyway.
I think that's definitely part of it. Moreso I think the Empire probably just paid him more and even if the rebels did try to hire him he wouldn't accept because then he'd be seen as playing both sides and he does have a code of honor
In the original movies he was just after the money on Han's bounty. He never really did much to show a morality beyond being a bounty hunter. Even when he showed concern for Han potentially dying with the whole carbonite thing, it was only because he wouldn't get paid. Then he didn't really do much of interest at all in RotJ before being sent into the sarlac pit. Maybe the comics or other expanded media did more with him, but there really wasn't much to him beyond a cool armor design in the OT.
Oh yeah, he was cool with torturing Han just for the sake of it, with freesing him as long as he get paid, with shooting Luke in the corridor, with feeding people to monsters....
This was fantastic from beginning to end. Genius snark that poked fun at everyone from the characters to the writers to the fans themselves. That Mickey Mouse laugh at the end was peak comedy!
I really love this video. I just watched it today. It was really hilarious of how Boba Fett and Mando were having argument but at the end, they got along. The ending was surprising. Love the evil laugh of the psychologist at the end.
If they did boba from bounty hunter to a crime lord a ruthless on with his own moral code but a threat that would have worked. Instead they went for a hero type character trying to change his ways
I think they could have easily succeeded if it was about a villian character trying to change his ways to be a hero. The problem(to me) was that if you look at the first 6 episodes... you get 33% boba trying to figure out who put a hit out on him, 33% flashbacks and 33% mandalorian season 3. Then the finale is just a fight against the Pikes and Cad Bane, and they had about a combined 5 minutes of screentime in the leadup to it. It feels like if you took a 23 episode show and cut it down to 6 episodes of content but kept the finale the same...
I'm fine with Boba Fett becoming a more honorable character, the issue is that he basically started the show that way. An old bounty hunter having a near-death experience and deciding to change, but having his past (and his father's legacy) catch up to him in the form of other bounty hunters and Cad Bane (a reflection of who Boba used to be) is a great concept.
The whole thing skunk of everyone (KK) wanting a piece of the credit that The Mandolorian brought - and none of the failures who screwed up the ST and all other disaster projects (KK - you again).
Imo Boba had about the right amount of intimidation factor and ruthlessness when he showed up in Mando Season 2 while still maintaining a sense of honor. What I'm pretty sure happened is that the higher ups at Disney told them they couldn't have a protagonist who was too dark, so they were basically forced to soften him up and make him more "pure".
A shame they couldn't see that. Some may argue he should've been more ruthless but it was still acceptable especially with the standoff scene in 2x08 with Reeves and Bo. Him being a kid in the Clone Wars could allow viewers to imagine his "descent into darkness", but how he became this "honorable warrior" type in Mando Season 2 could've been explained better in the Boba Fett show
Boba had more character in this 8 minute sketch than he did in his entire 7 (technically 5) episode series. No hate for Boba tho, he's like, my favorite SW character of all time, I just wish they'd done more with him and truly made it feel like he deserved all the love the fans gave him.
@@XiuFeanaro6 And you like Mandalorian, which is a copy and paste of half the story of that character that formed the entire Mandalorian lore, if it weren't for his overvaluation, Din wouldn't even exist lol
After the end of the video: Jango Fett: *opens door* "Hey, sorry I’m late, it wasn’t easy turning the Slave 1 around when you asked me to fly it again. Now about my son and the guy he said keeps copying him."
So is no one gonna mention that he technically inspired a 7 season (the 6th was supposed to just be epilogue and 7 came in years later, but still) show about the prequels that made more fans of the prequels than the actual movie trilogy?
Grogu is taking the whole coolness out of it for me in the the Mandalorian imo, was looking forward to Din trying to get his shit together on his own, like member when he was a bounty hunter ?

Din shouldn’t blame Boba for his show flunking. The blame lies at the feet of the writers and Disney. On a different note, Jon Bailey nailed Boba’s accent!
As long as they give Boba more exciting scenes in his full armor and get him off Tattooine and don't make other characters do things for him, he can be in a much better spot in the future. 👍
They nailed that part about the Biker Gang. What even was that bullshit. It didn't lead anywhere and they looked so out of place, like placing Cyberpunk characters in the middle of 1950s Egypt.
That evil phone call with the mouse at the end is where I really lost it. Honestly, my favorite version of Boba was from the Shadows of the Empire game. That was my favorite level and boss fight in a game that was full of awesome levels and bosses. Man, I miss that game.
Come on, don't be so cynical. Disney genuinely cares about their money - I mean, assets - I mean, investments - I mean...employees. Yeah, that's the one.
Hey Boba Fett, I still try to watch them on RUclips anytime I can. Your badass stuff is never forgotten. I even play you in games all the time because your super fucking cool. Your one of my favorite characters in Star Wars. *You matter to me a ton*
I think the whole series is good for Boba fett fans, but it def could have been executed better. Mando is where it is at now. Fresh character that is free to go anywhere a good story needs him to be, which the mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 did. Hoping season 3 would do the same tho lol We also kind of needed book of boba, otherwise going straight to Season 3 would have given the fans fatigue over Mando.
by ''fresh character'' you mean a blank slate who the viewer can project themselves unto? because that's what the mandolorian is meanwhile boba has decades worth of stories that have been ignored by mouse suckers like you. legends is real canon not this crap!

Without boba fett then there’s is no clone wars
@@Karlebow571 There still would have been. It was Jango who was the template, and Boba is a clone of him
Amen
@@lordpatriot445 but Boba was written before
@@hassanalkhalaf1115 Oh yeah you're right
Honestly, Boba and Mando make a great team in the show, wish they did more together.
I gotta say that that Jon Bailey nailed Boba Fett’s voice. Also anything Mickey Mouse does no longer surprises me.
Can we replace Mickey with a newer and better mascot? Maybe an OWL?
@@multiverse_media2023 you mean oswald the lucky rabbit? because that was going to be the original disney mascot.
Either that or scrooge mcduck since just like disney they are both greedy as fuck. At least they would be honest with that character.
Or we can just go back to a very forgotten cat from the Alice Comedies…
Julius.
Beautifully written. The micro expressions are timeless and this is EXACTLY how I felt about the show. I just needed these performers to tell it like this. Thanks.
My God, Boba's voice here is kinda spot on!👍
Fun fact, both voice actors are the voices for various Star Wars toys.
The details on those costumes were incredible, down to Mando's gloves and the lights on Boba's chest.
Mando: hey you wanna go kill someone?
Boba: hell yeah, thought you'd never ask
*doc laughing
*door slam open
Boba: let's kill him and his boss
Mando: agreed
...and thats how Star wars was saved....
Can we agree though, that the people who made Din Djarin everything we'd hoped for from Boba Fett all these years, are the same people that tanked Boba Fett as a character once he got his own show?
That's kind of a stupid point. Why give him a whole show to character assassinate him? Killing off old characters is one thing, episode 8 another, but The Book of Boba Fett didn't do anything like that. It was still pretty good. The fact that it has crossover material is just proof of how cool the concept was.
Hard to believe it was done by the same guys, I know. I’d really like to hear the pandemic caused delays and we stuffed 2 episodes of Mando S3 in as filler. That would make more sense than what we saw onscreen. Except the Mod bikers, that episode needs to be forgotten quickly as it was done on purpose 🤦🏻♂️
Yep. It's almost like with Rey and Luke, though at least Mando isn't a Mary Sue.
Luke and Anakin were the Chosen one and his son and after years of training they lost their first duel. Rey defeated a trained Sith after she first time touched a lightsaber.
The Mandalorian culture wouldn't have existed if people didn't find Boba Fett cool looking, even George Lucas regretted what he did with him after seeing how much fans loved him
A to the fucken Men
The boba voice is perfect it’s like tem and clone wars clones are put together
1. Ya I was also getting a Cersei and Jaime Lannister vibe from the Hutt twins too.
2. The Power Ranger scooter Gang from Cyberpunk was pretty pointless I think they wouldn't need to bring in Mando if they didn't add them in the series.
3. Both Boba and Mando makes good points.
The Scooter Hipster gang was a Publicity move to reach to the Zennials and woke millenials
They look like Twitter/Tumblr users coming straight up from Commiefornia
Lol power ranger scooter gang feom cyberpunk
Eugh now I’m imagining those Hutt twins committing incest dude, thank you
I was thinking about how the dark saber can represent the iron thrown kinda like Got but different. And star wars has always been about politics so it sort fits right in if they can't have a series at least have it be an arc we can explore over a few episode's.
Do Hutts even bang though? It’s known they reproduce asexually
Big applause to the actors behind the masks. Emoting their asses off. Well done.

Also when boba lost his armor he was very dehydrated so that definitely played a factor
Probably exhausted, running off survival instinct to some level as well. Also most of his armor was already off by the time he woke up as well and the jawa's immediately conked him out.

Loved this! Boba and Mando are my two favourite characters for all different reasons so seeing how they worked together in the finale made me super happy! I’m just disappointed, like Boba is this sketch, that he was sidelined for the ‘new guy’ so to speak. Loved the writing in this. ❤️
It's scary how believable the ending is
Book of boba fett definitely wasn't perfect but it really did have a lot of great stuff and I look forward to season 2
No it was shit learn what good TV is
Really enjoyed this sketch!
Maybeeee.. we can also add Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane arguing who is the better cowboy.:D
This is the way, have a nice day!
@@Solo13508 The only sides are green and greener boiii
Yeah that's how I see it too, and I think people complain too much.
4:30, I actually started feeling very sorry for Boba!
That ending was actually really sweet. This was the video I didn’t know I needed but am glad I got.
This was fantastic from beginning to end. Genius snark that poked fun at everyone from the characters to the writers to the fans themselves. That Mickey Mouse laugh at the end was peak comedy!
Boba Fett: Son of a bitch Mando Season 2’d me!
Bonus points for the reference.
Yah that show had Disney morals all over the place
A shame they couldn't see that. Some may argue he should've been more ruthless but it was still acceptable especially with the standoff scene in 2x08 with Reeves and Bo. Him being a kid in the Clone Wars could allow viewers to imagine his "descent into darkness", but how he became this "honorable warrior" type in Mando Season 2 could've been explained better in the Boba Fett show
Boba kept his helmet on longer here than he ever did in the entire show.
Boba had more character in this 8 minute sketch than he did in his entire 7 (technically 5) episode series. No hate for Boba tho, he's like, my favorite SW character of all time, I just wish they'd done more with him and truly made it feel like he deserved all the love the fans gave him.
So, he was your fave character in the trilogy when he didn't have any fcking personality?? Lmao!!
@@XiuFeanaro6 And you like Mandalorian, which is a copy and paste of half the story of that character that formed the entire Mandalorian lore, if it weren't for his overvaluation, Din wouldn't even exist lol

After the end of the video:
Jango Fett: *opens door* "Hey, sorry I’m late, it wasn’t easy turning the Slave 1 around when you asked me to fly it again. Now about my son and the guy he said keeps copying him."
“FUCKING GROGU GOT MORE LINES THEN I DID” was the best line in this video
So is no one gonna mention that he technically inspired a 7 season (the 6th was supposed to just be epilogue and 7 came in years later, but still) show about the prequels that made more fans of the prequels than the actual movie trilogy?
Grogu is taking the whole coolness out of it for me in the the Mandalorian imo, was looking forward to Din trying to get his shit together on his own, like member when he was a bounty hunter ?
While a lot of these points are valid, I still loved Book of Boba. Mando, Boba, and Rex are my favorites
I can’t believe a yt video with this amount of production quality was made in 2022 I haven’t enjoyed a yt video this much in at least 4~5 years. Bravo!
Both make good points, overall I think the show was okay, it wasn’t the best but it also wasn’t the worst it was okay, and I’m alright with that I still enjoyed it tbh
Din shouldn’t blame Boba for his show flunking. The blame lies at the feet of the writers and Disney.
On a different note, Jon Bailey nailed Boba’s accent!
Blame writer Robert Rodriguez
As long as they give Boba more exciting scenes in his full armor and get him off Tattooine and don't make other characters do things for him, he can be in a much better spot in the future. 👍
Yeah if there's a S.2. They should have Boba Fett be the main focus from now on & give him some good characterizations.
@@liamphibia hell take some of the scrapped rangers of the new republic stuff, and give it to Boba so he can be some ruthless lawman or something
Boba has tried the respect way, now he has to go back to being ruthless to his enemies
"Thanks man.. do" brilliant
A company recommended therapist? Those NEVER have ulterior motives!

This was so much more deep and emotional than I ever expected it to be
I think the whole series is good for Boba fett fans, but it def could have been executed better.
Mando is where it is at now. Fresh character that is free to go anywhere a good story needs him to be, which the mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 did. Hoping season 3 would do the same tho lol
We also kind of needed book of boba, otherwise going straight to Season 3 would have given the fans fatigue over Mando.
by ''fresh character'' you mean a blank slate who the viewer can project themselves unto? because that's what the
mandolorian is meanwhile boba has decades worth of stories that have been ignored by mouse suckers like you.
legends is real canon not this crap!
As a boba fan, i hate this show
This show is NOT good for boba fett fans. Boba is a joke in that show and mando is exactly what boba SHOULD of been.
“It’s not about the legacy characters we should equally respect, it’s just using them in between our even better NEW characters!”
Everything wrong with Disney Star Wars distilled into one comment.
as a total boba fanboi ... I will remember the cool scenes I really liked and not put too much thought into how dirty they did him to not go mental. :)
Oh my God that was flipping hilarious 😂 I laughed out loud so many times but the "Jamie and Cercei Lannister vibe" comment was the loudest!!
They both look familiar, but now you can see the difference between them here.
It’s crazy how Mando sounds exactly like Pedro Pascal and Boba sounds exactly like Temuera Morrison.
I grew up with EU/Legends and Boba Fett is one of my favourite Star Wars characters because of that.
I’m soooo glad Boba didn’t stay in the sarlacc pit. I legit felt like I was going to cry with him when he said that. Aw, poor Boba!!!! For the record, I loved his show, even though Mando hijacked it. I LOVE Mando, but golly, he really did hijack the show, LOL. It’s okay though, in the end, I loved seeing him reunite with Grogu, fight alongside Boba, and get his beskar handed to him by Boba’s rancor, because it’s no less than he deserved for being such a jerk and taking over a couple episodes, LOL. I love them both forever, this was a fabulous sketch that captured many of my feelings, I’m especially glad they reunited at the end! LOL. Awesome job!
He should have stayed in the pit. They massacred him even worse than his cheesy 80s joke death.
