You make it look so easy. Flame's, Smoke, Water is so difficult in many mediums to look natural! It's like anything else if it has movement practice is the answer! Yours definitely look natural and an abundance of movement.

The best tutorial for flames I've seen yet, everything is explained well as well as exactly the products and colors used, even mentioning what paints are opaque and what ones are transparent. Great for us newbies

Each of these types of videos I've watched has made me more sure that I wouldn't be able to do this. That is until this one. The step by step was very clear and concise. I'm going to scrap my plan of doing one dimensional red flames on my Harley and do some bad ass true flames. Thanks , man. Don't worry I'll practice a bit before I go to town on my bike.

One thing though....some of those curves are too sharp. Don't they need to be softened? Fire doesn't have sharp edges.

You should add a touch of green. I always see small flickers of green in a real fire but no one really adds it into the art work. Beautiful job man.

Go ahead and talk with your hands, that is how I learned to deflect and take the attention off of myself and be more comfortable in public speaking in speech class in college. had to give a speech every single freaking week for 4 years.....lol . It did get me ready for the corporate world though.

I use Createx to just mess around and paint matchbox cars. Actually I stripped a 57 T-bird and polished it up real nice to look like chrome and I am throwing down some Transparent Red 5136 from Createx, on the car tonight. hopefully it goes well. I will post a video later this week or Monday if you want to look at it.

I know this is probably a dumb question but what gun are you using that you attach bottles straight to the gun??? Love that no mess clean up between colors...

Very nice, I learn a lot watching your videos. I wanna try this six layer flame on a bike helmet, I just don't have any yellow paint at the moment. I do have Canary Yellow from Createx, will that color work instead of using yellow.

I want to paint flames on a red car; and I keep seeing black is usually the background color of choice, so: what would I need to do different?,..... would it work well on a red background color, or do I need to paint the car black before airbrushing the flames?. Thanks in advance.
use a different shade of red than the car. usually darker than the car. if the car is dark red use a bright red.
