Why was seeing blood in someone else's shorts somehow a relief to 33 year old me? Like I know I'm not the only one who bleeds, but it's never been proven like this! Thanks for being so open with us guys!
Yes! It’s so refreshing and powerful to show how it can be, bloody and messy and tough to deal with. It’s not just a few drops of blue water like on so many tv ads and commercials.
I'm always so grateful that Lindsey is so open about using pads! I MUCH prefer pads and everyone always tries to shame me whenever it comes up that I don't like tampons.
I love that she's open about it, too. I'm allergic to latex, so I exclusively used pads growing up until I discovered cardboard applicators. Now at 28, I have a severely prolapsed uterus, cervix, and bladder, so tampons and diva cups are extremely painful. Pads are the only option. It's nice to hear another millennial not ashamed to not be using tampons.
@@thecomorbiditycurator8018 I have pain using tampons and diva cups as well but mine my pain is in the urethra. There's no shame in using pads, I love when I'm just at home and I use the overnight ones, never any leaks.
Don’t be ashamed. I’m 33 and I’ve always preferred pads. I use tampons sometimes but they make my cramps terrible. I’m also scared of tss. I just shower twice a day and I’m good.
Hello, may I know how and why it was shameful to use pads instead of tampons in the US? Coz here in my country tampons are almost nonexistent, they are available here but I havent known anyone who use it! We only use pads.
I’ve NEVER understood why people get bullied for wearing pads. 🙄 I can’t use tampons, and I’ve never been able to. I’ve tried many times, but my body immediately rejects the tampon, by itself, which is beyond painful. It’s almost like Toxic Shock Syndrome, but it happens immediately after insertion, and it makes me physically sick. I’ve tried many brands and different types (even the cardboard applicator ones), but my body won’t have it up there. 🤷♀️ I love Always Infinity Flex Foam winged pads because I can’t feel them. It’s like they aren’t there! I use size 5 for full coverage, and I double them up at night even though one single size 5 is like a nighttime pad, but my periods are unusual. They’re either 3 days long and super heavy + painful, or they’re 2+ weeks long and I spot-bleed randomly with minimal to no pain/symptoms. It shouldn’t matter what you choose to wear or do on your period. It should be something that isn’t judged, and it should be comfortable to discuss! It’s not embarrassing, and we need to work harder to end/stop people that judge others or feel embarrassed by their periods because of others. *Free bleed, diva cup, tampon in, or pad up❗️* Be comfortable and end menstruating stigmas.
I thought seeing someone else’s blood would make me a bit uneasy but it actually was really comforting and make this review feel super real. Appreciate the honesty and bravery ❤️

The feelings of anxiety brought back to me as they showed the bleed-through results on their clothing just brought back horror memories of that happening to me in middle/high school. So many pairs of underwear, jeans, and pants ruined and forever stained. Especially because my period was never predictable when I first started until I got on birth control. I applaud all of you for being brave enough to show these failures because I don’t think I would ever have the guts to show that. Now I use a menstrual cup for my periods and it has been such a game changer for me.

I would’ve appreciated using period underwear, just as another layer of protection. I don’t have to worry about bleeding thru now, but I DO have deal with “post menopausal” hot flashes 🥵🤪

I love the fact that there was 3 different kinds of body types... so you can really see how it will look or at least get an idea of how it will look on your body!! Also I definitely agree that it depends on the person and their cycle how these things would work

These videos are honestly so great! It kinda feels like having an older sister help walk you through different experiences that you have throughout life and it's nice
Lots of good discussions here and I thought I'd recommend the disc!! I hadn't even heard of it until a few months ago and its a game changer. I got a heavier period as I got older and tampons began to cause worse cramps. From what I've seen the cup is similar. The disc does take about a cycle to get used to placing it and getting it into a comfy spot but it is seriously leakproof and lasts 12 hours! I can't wait to get 1 or 2 reusable ones to help with the sustainability aspect.
I could be wrong but I have the feeling not everyone washed the thong before using it. With these period panties it's really important to do so otherwise they will not absorb the blood. Maybe that's one reason Lindsay had no spillage the second day.
I'm pro pads too, I've tried others and they hurt. When I was young I definitely had ruined clothes and sheets. I'm 34 and got it down to what works for me.
pads are really good, i cant stop thinking about tampon infections and it getting stuck that i dont want to use them. diapers?? sure for overnight pads but literally every other pad ive worn are comfy(ish)
This was actually a very realistic video and I appreciate that. These might work for me actually because I tend to have really light periods most of the time, so thanks for the idea!
I would have NEVER thought that someday somehow we'd be able (ALLOWED) to show our bleedings like this, worldwide, freely, and so openly to other people. And by reading the comments, I would have NEVER thought we'd feel so accompanied. Thank you, guys for doing these videos. And thank y'all strangers everywhere for supporting this. ♡

This is an ABSOLUTE NO. I will stick to my Diva Cups. I have anxiety ( normal day 1) so to walk around with a period thong...anxiety on 10 every time I sit down for a long time, sneeze and walk.
i only learnt on the internet that some people shame others for prefering pads... i mean, in brazil tampons are not really a thing. they are sold, but they are a lot more expensive and not many people use them. pads are the #1 choice here.
Since this is a period video I feel like I should share some tips: -if you get blood on something(menstrual or otherwise) peroxide is the best way to clean it up. The reaction between the blood and peroxide causes bubbling, and helps the blood out of the fibers of fabric. -wash with cold water, hot water will set in the stain. -cups are cool! They're a good, one time investment and not as scary as they seem. -pads help your period end faster than tampons, pads allow your uterus, cervix and vaginal walls to contract and expand fully while tampons don't. -in case of emergency, carry a kit with you; fresh underwear, a ziplock for the soiled ones, pads, tampons, midol, whatever you think would be helpful.
Thank you all for your sacrifice! I would probably do the supers leak proof but WITH my regular tampons honestly. It would be cool to be able to wear thongs on my period so having the built-in panty liner is great
Please do a video on pads!!! They have thong pads and it makes me laugh when I see them because it’s just triangles and I don’t see how it works. I’m really curious on those! Love y’all so much!!!
Mine lasts 7 days 😭 but only the first 3 days are super heavy. I would consider wearing these on day 4-7 by itself but honestly I would wear tampons with these on my first 3 days
Omg thank you for this review and bless you guys no women wants this to happen to them regardless if it normal. Staining clothes are the worst especially if you're out and about or even worst working. Bless your hearts ☺️ and thank you
I would probably only wear these with a tampon, so that if I’m say at work and can’t go to the bathroom whenever I need to, I can be safe in case I have a bit of leakage. I wouldn’t wear them INSTEAD of a tampon, but more as an extra bit of safety.
Honestly, I find these new period products so interesting, but I will never go through the stress of trying a new product again. Even thinking of the possibility of bleeding through something is stressfull. I have never leaked with my menstrual cup and I love everything about it.
What about clots though? My periods are super heavy and lots of clots. So I feel like I would be walking around with jelly in my underwear 🤢 I don’t think I can do it 😬
😂lmao! That was my first thought! Birth control has no doubt changed my life! Blood flow is like regular discharge! No pain... can leave the house, work exercise....I wish someone told me this 20 years ago! I used to go through a super plus (holds nearly 1 lb of blood) every hour! Leaks and excruciating pain where you scream out and lie in bed for hours and take off school/work. Someone should have said that's not normal and offered pills
I love these videos on periods because sooo many people do not talk about it and it’s so great to see this being normalized. Also very cool that more products are more catered to periods even though I wish period products were free worldwide. Hopefully one day soon 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I used to be so insecure about leaking at my school but then one time I actually did leak, and it was not bad at all, yes I was scared, yes it was really bad, but it was my last hour and we had 5 minutes left in class so it was all good! 👍🏻 I got home and changed and cleaned everything!
I salute the fact that you talked about liking pads over other methods because using tampons (even the smallest size) is very uncomfortable for me and pads are so much better for my comfort (as much as I can have on my cycle) so thanks for sticking up for them too :)
I stopped getting mine bc of stress and probably other things. Waiting for a gynecologist appointment. I miss mine. :3 I want babies one day. So yeah it's annoying but a natural thing and once a disruption occurs...it feels scary. And no I am definitely not pregnant lol
Hands down the best period panty video testing I’ve ever seen. When they say the underwear can hold up to __ amount of tampons I expect for them to do just that. So when you see they don’t even last 3 hrs it’s really disappointing. And instead of them advertising them as if you can wear ONLY these underwear your whole period it should be explained better. I own a few pair of Amazon period underwear that I love! They’re much cheaper than the brands in this video but that work great… as a back up for my days 2-4. They are prefect for the first day and last day to wear by themselves. But only backup during your heavy days which help you guarantee no leaks during the day or night. So they are a must. ESPECIALLY for young teens in high school and middle!
i knew that 3-4 day long periods happened i just didn’t know they were so common lmao. My period’s still irregular but i’ll usually have 7-9 day long periods 🏃♀️
I definitely prefer pads. Tampons hurt putting them in and taking them out. I can't wear one overnight due to the risk of toxic shock syndrome because I sleep a good 10 -13 hours a night and you can only leave one in for up to 8 hours before the risk comes. Plus, you don't have to change pads as often.
How life would have been different had current feminine products existed decades ago!! Good for all these ladies for being willing to do these very public reviews!
I absolutely LOVED how explicit they are explaining their full opinions and how they actually show the blood stains. YESS YESS YESS. It’s a total normal process that people should get more used to it
So glad this is on the internet and is being made to be less on the hush hush. Literally almost every woman gets their period and it was made to be something that we hide and keep to ourselves. It is normal. Thanks for this video, it was comforting and very helpful.
Um excuse me y’all are so lucky you get it for three days like please feel lucky because i have a SUPER heavy flow for like 5 but i don’t stop bleeding for 8. Like please be grateful 😭😭
Omg the amount of leaking they’ve had. So much anxiety. I personally do have the thong ones, but I wear it as a liner when I wear my cup. I Knix did bad having a thong marketed as a high absorbency panty, when on reality, you need the coverage of a brief or something for heavy days.
definately not a medical professional or anything just a guy with a uterus… you're meant to feel mild to moderate discomfort and if you havent seen a doctor and have the privalage to go to a doctor then maybe do?

I love that you are showing the actual blood, being on your period is the most normal thing - so is blood. We need those "bold" videos. And thanks girls for sharing ❤️ literal queens
One of them use they/he pronouns
I love the fact that there was 3 different kinds of body types... so you can really see how it will look or at least get an idea of how it will look on your body!! Also I definitely agree that it depends on the person and their cycle how these things would work
I just have to say it’s so refreshing to show period blood and destigmatize it...we have come so far in the last 10 years. Bravo to these lovely people showing a normal part of life that people are so scared to talk about 🙏
Thanks for testing these out so I don’t have to! I think I’d probably use these in conjunction with my cup in order to feel like I’m safe
The cup is a game changer!
I tried once to switch back to tampons and it was a painful messy disaster!
Yeah! Nice idea
@@valerie4912 Painful? 😫😳 Wow I thought you still stick the cup inside you just like you would a tampon, so im confused where the pain came from! Sorry to hear that!
The bikini and boyshort styles of these are *much* better!
@@SwissMissss a cup is made out of soft silicone so it glides in whereas a tampon is dry and can be a bit more painful to insert. Cups are awesome!
Lindsay I’m with you I wear pads nope definitely don’t feel like a diaper.
And I’m new to the menstrual cup and I love love it.
it doesnt bother you to be touching the blood? tbh all blood freaks me out so I couldnt stomach that, even my own!
The amount of anxiety watching this.
Seriously-- I was transported back to 5th grade, getting sent home for new pants.
im less anxious and more just... pissed off at how even making sure you dont bleed everywhere needs to be woke these days. like stfu and mind your own bleeding fannies and let me deal with my period with a pad like i always have
I love Jordan. They're so open and they seem so comfortable no matter what
same!! i love his personality ^^
Thanks for taking one for the team, y'all. And thanks for the shoutout to our good pal hormonal acne. Who else has gray hairs AND zits? I'm a proud teenage grandma.
These videos are honestly so great! It kinda feels like having an older sister help walk you through different experiences that you have throughout life and it's nice
Soak the stain in hydro peroxide to pull out the blood faster
OR good old-fashioned cold water and soap...& scrub it! It def works! 😉😉
Baking soda and vinegar or lime juice also helps if you scrub it with a toothbrush
I was looking for this comment! Hand wash with cold water and soap, and then use hydrogen peroxide
I love jordan's butterfly tattoo on their stomach ❤
Their tattoos are so pretty! 🐞
@@Leslie-wb8cb their or his! He uses he/they pronouns! Thanks!
Yeah I love his tattoos
@@Leslie-wb8cb thanks for editing your comment
@@imbored4929 Yep yep! :-)
I love you guys for showing the stains!!!!! like yes! this is part of life, its normal and its natural. great job for normalizing periods!
also jordans tats are so cool! like this is probs the clearest ive seen them and theyre amazing!
Thank you!!!! 💖💖
It’s 1am in Australia and I should be sleeping but I get the alert and I watch 🙌❤️🔥
Glad y’all bring this topic more to the internet. Y’all are all so beautiful and brave! God bless you all!💕
This was actually a very realistic video and I appreciate that.
I am just, in love with Jordan, they are amazing omfg
All of the women are glowing and beautiful! I especially love Jordan's tattoos :)
Two women one nonbianary/male pronoun user!!!
@@Heartstopper_Brynn AW YES. I was trying to find the term, thanks for correcting me :D they/he pronouns are always cool i use them wven tho im a transdood
The most nerve wracking experience ever 😅😅😅
This is an ABSOLUTE NO. I will stick to my Diva Cups. I have anxiety ( normal day 1) so to walk around with a period thong...anxiety on 10 every time I sit down for a long time, sneeze and walk.
After I saw the leakage onto the pillow I got nervous for the other two women. I just knew things were going to end badly😬😩
you guys are so comforting I can’t explain it
i only learnt on the internet that some people shame others for prefering pads... i mean, in brazil tampons are not really a thing. they are sold, but they are a lot more expensive and not many people use them. pads are the #1 choice here.
Verdade viu, só uso esses troço se for pra ir pra piscina ou praia. Não conheço ngm q prefira usar ob doq absorvente normal
My period is so heavy i really relate to Lindsey like those are a no go.
JORDAN IS SO COOL. hes literally SO HANDSOME. like between the OUTFITS, the personality and THE VIBES HE GIVES OFF OMG.

OMG LOVE THE HAIRCUT LINDSAY OMG
Yes let's normalize this type of stuff like it happens to everyone and it's okay. Y'all are so brave and thank you.
Since this is a period video I feel like I should share some tips:
-if you get blood on something(menstrual or otherwise) peroxide is the best way to clean it up.
I prefer reusable pads more then the undies simply because I can adjust where the pad and my flow match
this video is so important to help normalise periods. Thank you all ladies.
jordan’s tattoos are so fkn cool, go off
Thank you for helping to normalise, de-shame, educate & show off something half the world deals with every month! ♥️♥️♥️
Jordan’s tats are fire!
Love y’all so much!!!
i love how they included different body types in this :)
What happens if it leaks up the back, I know im not the only one who leaks forwards and backwards.
I know, it feels like a big risk
I couldn’t do this challenge because, at least when I sleep, the blood goes up my butt crack some, so the thongs wouldn’t protect me any.
Honestly, I find these new period products so interesting, but I will never go through the stress of trying a new product again. Even thinking of the possibility of bleeding through something is stressfull. I have never leaked with my menstrual cup and I love everything about it.
Can we appreciate Jordan’s contribution to this video, he is proving that not just people with typically girl pronouns bleed
I thought it was obvious tho
Yasiii Jazz ok?
@@shoenan2294 Okay is not a question.
Yasiii Jazz I never said it was and you’re attacking me for a comment?
i was thinking the exact same thing
Just wanted to add... Your hair was gorgeous after your appointment 💁✨
What about clots though? My periods are super heavy and lots of clots. So I feel like I would be walking around with jelly in my underwear 🤢 I don’t think I can do it 😬
Same 😭
Same
Same! I wouldn't even think to wear regular period underwear due to heavy flow/clots.
I truly applaud all of you for even attempting this great feat! .......I have no other words........
So brave to do this, record, having to walk with a stain. Must have been a nightmare for you ladies. 👏👏
and gentlethem
Anyone else *hate* getting their period 🙋🏼♀️
I stopped getting mine bc of stress and probably other things. Waiting for a gynecologist appointment. I miss mine. :3 I want babies one day. So yeah it's annoying but a natural thing and once a disruption occurs...it feels scary. And no I am definitely not pregnant lol
Whenever i get my period i have a mental breakdown🙂
ESPECIALLY for young teens in high school and middle!
honestly I LOVE this channel for putting everyone’s pronouns under their names
So happy the stains and spoils aren't sensored!
Thank you for normalizing period!
I love this channel, you guys are always so open and honest and its super refreshing!
i knew that 3-4 day long periods happened i just didn’t know they were so common lmao.
Aw this is so cute and makes us women know we’re not alone..💗
I really really love how they put the peoples pronouns when they are introduced, makes it so much easier and it’s so respectful
Whatever🙄🙄
How life would have been different had current feminine products existed decades ago!! Good for all these ladies for being willing to do these very public reviews!
"100% hurting my butthole BUMmer" hahahaha that was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I absolutely LOVED how explicit they are explaining their full opinions and how they actually show the blood stains. YESS YESS YESS. It’s a total normal process that people should get more used to it
Shoutout to all the girls, y’all are champions for getting through this every month, I could NEVER. Y’all are gods
So glad this is on the internet and is being made to be less on the hush hush. Literally almost every woman gets their period and it was made to be something that we hide and keep to ourselves. It is normal. Thanks for this video, it was comforting and very helpful.
I only would wear them with a tampon, just because I never trust any product 100%
The comment section screams "women power" and I love it 😻😻😻😻❤
Um excuse me y’all are so lucky you get it for three days like please feel lucky because i have a SUPER heavy flow for like 5 but i don’t stop bleeding for 8. Like please be grateful 😭😭
I'm just applauding you guys for filming during your period. Especially on your first days.
The one thing I do not miss after having a total hysterectomy. I legit wanted to throw all of my period products into a bonfire.
I'm glad y'all in the comments are hyping pads, no uncomfort w them whatsoever!
You guys should do a video testing the brand Thinx! It’s period underwear!
I LOVE jordan’s tattoos
For a strange reason, everytime I'm getting my period, I automatically watch period related videos
i feel so relieved watching this omg
Omg the amount of leaking they’ve had. So much anxiety. I personally do have the thong ones, but I wear it as a liner when I wear my cup. I Knix did bad having a thong marketed as a high absorbency panty, when on reality, you need the coverage of a brief or something for heavy days.
Love Jordans butterfly tattoo!
I got my period 2 days ago and I’ve thrown up 12 times today!!!! I love being a woman😍
definately not a medical professional or anything just a guy with a uterus… you're meant to feel mild to moderate discomfort and if you havent seen a doctor and have the privalage to go to a doctor then maybe do?
That’s not something common. You should see your obgyn.
Aww you poor thing hope you feel better you’re not alone and don’t be ashamed
