The more matches I run the more I realize HPA is the way to go! Great review.

An AEG can be exactly as good as an HPA but must aren't. The BB doesn't care if the air pushing it comes from a HPA engine or a AEG piston all that matters is the consistancy. HPA is always very consistent while on AEGs there is often air loss. If you set up and tune a 200$ AEG it can match the performance of any HPA. The reason HPA is so popular is that you can get a perfect gearbox with perfect consistency with perfect air seal and perfect trigger response just like that whilst you need to invest a lot of effort and time for an AEG.

Everyone is welcome to play as they like. That being said, I like to call every tank wearer on the field a diver.
Sure, HPA is easy to use. But so is an AEG if you'we willing to do your research and tinker for a good bit.
I'm using a split gearbox ICS, Gate Titan, good motor, Li-Ion battery (never ran out during the game), and SHS gears. This setup never fails, changes spring in under 30 seconds, and needs a service once a year (just cleaning from dust and greasing). And best of all, you can change shoulders, put the gun on the back, move through brush and play without backpack.

Changing seals once for every 2 years. That’s it :) sometimes use also this special thread paste to make it smoother while you are connecting your tank

have watched it yet but am excited. always comment before i watch probably because im an asshole and think i know what youre going to say. i really dont ive lived this way for 49 years and cant break the habit. question.- i dont play often im probably not who you expect as a watcher of gameplay or people talented enough to be a good player. its amazing to watch because i cant do like them. im really just asking is there any reason you can think of that i might enjoy an HPA gun. i shoot every day but in a training area i call my house. yeah im single homeowner. i am buying my first gbbr except my mac and im wondering if i would enjoy a hpa powered gun. is there a reason or saftey issue using them in very small area. i dont really give a shit about safety. i wasnt raised that way. i dont want to hurt anyone else. i have a compressor in my airsoft workshop so air isnt an issue. i work on my aegs and pistol really more a collector and a fooler arounder of sorts but i actually a handyman of sorts in my profession. i have a few skills.how gnarly can you make an hpa. since its an engine of sort and no gears really what can you turn up a polarstar engine psi wise. 40 rounds per second if you have mags that will feed 40+. better air equip the more pressure you could have id imagine. what do you think for having as a toy vs. a gbbr. thanks my friend i will watch and thumbs up now. cheers

All depend what you need. Actually HPA is really flexible, you can set up everything. Rate of fire, burst, trigger response etc. For example my Polarstar kythera has real trigger, you have reset it's weights around 5-6 pounds (you can adjust it) so you can try your finger more realistic. It's great platform with really big versatility. Also you can remake GBBR for hpa to if you know how. I can recommend anyway HPA all the time.
