I laughed to myself when you said you were not roughing it enough and stepped down from the Winnebago. We went from tents, to tents and air mattresses, to cabin rental, to now an RV over the decades. My back appreciates it. 😀 - Rick
I'm building mine right now. You're video was very helpful. It's funny to hear you two explaining all the trial and error of a diy build (like the epoxy pump). That's like every step of mine! But it all really turned out beautifully. I love the cedar strip.
You probably have told us but have gone back through all the videos and cant find it. How much does it weigh? Im building similar and have 2k torsion axle Im getting worried about my weight
@@FlomatonFamous thank you for reply. Im going almost 60 tall so i have to cut weight. I was concerned about the amount of voids and was going to reduce like you. What are your thoughts, do you think now you could have done more voids and still have adequate gluing surface? Im am fiberglassing as well with 1/4 inch planks. Thank you again. Your videos have been invaluable for me
@@chrisangell5241 I would have to estimate that all of my void cutouts probably saved me 30lbs. And with my wood strips and fiberglass, yes I could have made a lot more voids and been just as strong. The true strength is in the fiberglass. Thank you for the compliment, I’m glad people are finding it useful.
Welding classes in high school don’t really exist any more. That joke is something I would have liked to have had.
I got a good chuckle out of the "why one door."
Lol, I know right, woman act mostly from emotions 🤣

Lol, I didn't mind the large camper, but It's a lot cheaper on gas to pull the teardrop.
It was still $18k less than a put together teardrop from a rv store and the quality is so much better - looks great !
Thank you!

Awesome! Glad you like the video, stay in touch, I’d like to see how it turns out.
You two keep doing the awesome builds and growing videos. Very informative!
Thank you very much and thank you for watching!
I love the camper! Your skills are awesome.
