I've never seen this feature before! It's totally new! I've literally never seen any providers ever deliver this feature, EVER!

We're working on it, but this coming later. Will share those details once we have them.

Seems that your new hire Lynne Robbins is still working for my company 🤪
8:30 Will there be any traces in M365 of personal activity on personal phones? BYOD can be a GDPR nightmare.

I have a question. Where I live companies are looking to mask mobile numbers behind land line numbers rather than the other way around. At my company we use direct routing in combination with teams calling. With teams its not super integrated since I have to use Teams mobile to set the call up, and the Teams dialer Jeremy mentioned. But we also have a phone app where we can choose what number we expose to the receiving end regardless of if I use Teams calling or just use mobile calling. The concept is called Full MEX or Full Mobile Extension. To call me the caller can use my land line number and reach my mobile. I can use my mobile number too on the same device but never communicate it to customers, the land line number can be directed to VM or call queue, or an auto attentant while calls dialed to my mobile number will bypass this and reach me as a normal mobile call would. We do want the integrated experience of Teams calls in the native dialler, but we do NOT want to expose our mobile numbers. There is also the notion of land lines and switchboard numbers outrank mobile numbers and are more trustworthy for businesses. Is that a possibility here?

Starting at min 7:57 they talk about setting up privacy caller ID policies. You can mask the private ID of the mobile phone and use the company name and number instead. Not sure if this is 100% of the functionality you're looking for but maybe some of it.

ETA on this being released in any form? This is exactly what we have been looking for our clients to keep them in the MS ecosystem. Also, SMS is still a necessity with this to make it the perfect solution for business.

We have implemented this solution with our Telco provider about a year ago working like a pro, only thing is its not using the single SIM -enable numbers option.

The most up to date information is in the admin portal for Teams

This is great. And the future directions are even better (it can't happen soon enough). But I wonder how this integration works with Dynamics 365 Sales `Conversational Intelligence` capabilities (which reached GA after this video)?

I wonder how this would work with someone who has an account with 2 separate tenants (with 2 different Teams implementations).
Would you be able to register the same mobile number in both tenants?
I see this where someone owns their own tenant, but works for a company that has another.
Or another example would be, a Contractor (whose parent organization has a tenant) is working at a customers organization (which has their own tenant).

Looking forward to BYOD/carrier service to Teams Phone. Working in NGO sector scaling enterprise devices is not financially feasible

So, essentially we are assigning a DID to a user who is in Teams Only mode, has an Emergency location associated with the DID, has the correct license and passing on the Operators SIM card which will be a new DID instead.

You would need to have a Teams Phone license or trial in place in the tenant for those controls to appear.

Why do you want SMS ? Hardly anyone uses SMS, it is not secure, and not real-time.
