@@tyhatfield7156 the one u were doun is a knee slice knees to butg of opponent while hugging the waist of opponent at same time..his was a little different variant knee or shin pin pass more thann the latter knee slice which is 1st one along with under scoop of legs pass which can land too guy im half guard of bottom guy then he can re establish his full guard or version of full..then u get to leg avoidance over top and or around one side or over to side cont
Or north south ..when u try basic whute/blue belt pass such as knee slice scoop or whatever expect. A guy to get back to full from half guard immediately so be 1-2 steps ahead by letting him shrimp to regaim full use that sec of him doing that coumter to pass by changing tto other side of legs or chain another pass with tje 1st (fake out pass) wrestliing teaxhes importance off chaining techs with simple ones bjj for some dumb reaso goes u do this then opp.does that u do this bcuz he did this ..1+1=2 then u got to 3 bcuz he got to 3 for u. No whay im saying ..enemy is ahead of u strategy wise because if u attack 1st he does "x"to counter uu try attack 2 since 1 failed now he does 3 to set u up to be fooled

Knight, I’m a new student to Jiu Jitsu and I just want to thank you for all these helpful videos. You do the best job on RUclips at getting straight to learning the moves. You also give just enough to work on for a weekly basis for a weeks worth of classes. Each class I’m going through my head of what you’ve taught. Thanks so much.

Eli, I’m in my 3rd month of BJJ training (Kaijin MMA in Santa Cruz CA). Thanks for these videos, they are super-helpful in supplementing what I’m learning in my daily classes. One thing I’ve found to be very helpful when learning moves in the gym is to watch from directly behind the coach performing the move (so I see the move from the POV that I will have when doing it myself). Wondering if you’ve tried to film from this POV, instead of/in addition to the standard head-on POV everyone uses?

I will keep following your channel ! I really appreciate that you teach techniques while explaining situations! normally in my BJJ class our coach be like ( ok ! we stay at side control position and start submission he gonna teach us but I think how to pass guard . take control and get into that position is the most important thing to learn for beginners, In real fight nobody gonna stay at side position let you control. here is my suggestion of whole program video if you can think about making it in the future:
      step1. How to pass guard.
step2. After passing guard what kind of position that I am facing with and how can I take control.
step3”When I am taking control what kind of submission I can choose.
I really appreciate your video ! Thank you Knight jujitsu !

As always Eli. Great presentation. And some material for me to add to guard pass practice. One question though. A lot of people do that one keg takedown into guard. I hope you understand. They are holding the gi. One foot on hip and pull me down into guard. Any advice other than just stand up and do t go down to knees. Thanks again as always.

You're welcome. They super helpful and will make my shit Jujitsi better. I run a production company in Australia. You know how your video changes colour all the time? It's a white balance issue. Dive into the camera white balance settings and pick the icon that looks like a lightbulb. Then it won't change all the time on you :)

Thank you. I tend to record these off my iPhone though...I haven’t found how to adjust the white balance settings on it.
