    • (CURRENT) Lap Record -...
New karts, new tyres and a new track layout have reset the lap times at TeamSport Nottingham over the past couple of months.
On the final lap of last night's Grid Locked member's event, I clocked a personal best and current lap record of 33.170.
Looking at the footage, if I'd executed the last hairpin on my hot-lap in the same way as the lap before, I believe a lap in the 32s was there. Maybe next time. I don't expect this record to last longer than a few days!
Enjoy. Please like, comment and subscribe!

    Thanks for the upload!

Hi wanna know how u deal with first corner? is there any brake needed 😮

Hi there! Well with the new front and rear tyres fitted, there's no need to brake for turn 1. Approach wide, perhaps a slight jerk of the wheel as you cross the start/finish line, and basically you should get the kart pointing the right way for the corner. You can go full throttle around there, but keep committed for turn 2. Good luck! 😊

Hi there! So when you're heading back down the ramp to the right turn at the back, you don't need to lift. The new karts, on speed setting 3, pretty much max out on speed at the bottom of the ramp. Take a really wide entry, stay committed through the corner. With the current temperature, the grip is there to stay flat out! 👊
