found this link again when CONSIDERING adding an Xsound Go to my collection. The sound is good, and I have (how i found this video before) 2 xsound surfs ... I'd like better battery life, but really for the sound of the Surf... i can ACCEPT that battery life is lower .. the sound is so good. I have had different Tribit products over the years and while i DONT want to make it sound like i constantly have issues (mainly it was with the Xfree GO headphones) .. Tribit was so kind and a PLEASURE to work with ... they really wanted (and did) make things right ... that matters to me, in addition to a great product they make
I have both and I have to agree that the Go is better. It’s close though when you factor in the price difference. The sweet spot for the Surf is low to moderate volumes. At those volumes the surf has more bass. Overall sound the Go wins. It’s cleaner and crisper. There’s a hollowness (lack of a better word) to the Surf’s sound that gets more pronounced as you go up in volume, and of course bass disappears and there’s slight distortion. I have all Tribit’s speakers and they’re all good, especially the Maxsound Plus. Can’t wait for them to come out with a Bluetooth speaker that’s above 30 watts. Btw, don’t think the updated version of the Go is available just yet, at least not on Amazon.
@@waynedexter I appreciate that. Tribit makes solid speakers for their price ranges. I would love to see them make something larger and similar to the Sony XB33 size.
I believe Tribit is coming out with the bigger brother of the Stormbox (called 'Stormbox Pro' according to their Support team) either this month or the next. It's going to be a 360 speaker, but sadly, they omitted the Aux-in port. Still, I can't wait for it though as Tribit makes great speakers.
I bought 2 xsound go to use them in stereo. Like this they sound slightly better then 1 maxsound plus. I just wish they had some dynamic bass adjustment for more bass at lower volumes.
Just got the surf. If you're using for watching videos stay away from it as its not as clear as other speakers. However it can get very very loud which is what alot of people like and for the price it might right up your alley
I find the Surf louder and basier, so I guess it depends on the kind of music you listen to. The charge is fast and easy, plus it connects easily through Bluetooth to my mobile wherever I am so if presenting its great.
Thanks for this amazing review, I was totally confuse which should I buy. But after watching your video everything is now clear to me. Thank you again 😄
It's weird but from what I hear is tribit x sound go only sounds better at 100% volume, whereas x sound surf was sounding alot wider and cleaner but under full volume. In surf You can also feel a better thump in beats n bass at lower volume. But at full volume Go wins with no distortion.
Xsound go is good portable bluetooth, easy to carry, it can fit in my pocket, small speaker but it has bass, next in my list, if i have my extra budget, it will buy his Big brother, the maxsound plus upgraded.
I've had two tribit speakers. The first ended-up as a paperweight. The second, an Xsound Go, like the first, has a dead battery. In less than a year, the Xsound Go battery won't recharge. Doubt I'll go with Tribit again.
@@muhdshukriabdhamid7043 i have the Go and maxsound. Both fantastic in their sizes. Maxsound can really surprise you the balance and clear sound. No distortion
@@kirbystarwell3701 That goes without saying. But if you're on a tight budget, I would prefer two Go instead of one maxsound. The stereo pairing really elevates the performance.

Yeah, I'm not sure the upgraded XSound Go is available on Amazon as of yet. I got mine direct from Tribit. Shouldn't be long.

I would take a bigger step up to something like the Soundcore Motion +.
Nice!
XSound Surf vs Anker Soundcore 2 please
But what does Spiderman say?
Surf has type C connectivity.. which i think more feasible for daily usage
Xsound Go also uses USB-C to charge. They updated the speaker a while back.
I hope tribit does have also tf card slot and usb port for fd...nice speaker

I don't blame you. I had two Sony auto head units I had issues with many years ago and never bought another one.
what date and year the release of both speaker? who is the 1st release?
The Go has cleaner sound even on high volume which is very good
I thought the Surf sounded much richer on this video. Try headphones, you should hear the clear difference.
i agree ... i have two Surf's and LOVE them ... but i admit this is exactly what i thought watching this
@@Xmetalfanx just ordered a surf .
You are using xsound go upgrade version so it has 16 watt speaker not 12 watt as you stated in this video. Btw well explained.
I noted in the description that the manual states it's 14w.
They may very well have changed that at a later date, as the upgraded version I got was a very early model.
Does it have a codec in bluetooth or has a high quality audio setting in the bluetooth?
no
Are xsound go has aac codes sound ? As i know only xsound surf has aac codes .
I believe they both support the same.
Can you review the new Mi Portable Bluetooth speaker and compare it to this xsound go?
I'm not familiar with the Mi portable speaker.

Whats the lowest frequency both speakers can readh and is still audible?
Neither of these little speakers has any real bass extension. Just a guess, but probably not much more than 100Hz extension.

The specs in the Xsound Go manual actually list it as 2x 7w (14w total.) Hope this helps.

To clear the doubt, there are two versions of Go. One with 14W and micro usb and another the upgraded with 16W with Type C usb.
☺️❣️Tribit x sound go upgraded vs Tribit max sound plus plzzz 🥰❣️
The Maxsound Plus will annihilate the XSound Go upgraded version or not!
@@xavierrobalino2807 I have both. You are correct. Maxsound plus is on another level. Not even close.
Is FM radio un any of them?
Not on these speakers. It's rare to have FM tuner unless it's a very cheap brand.
So where does MaxSound come in compared to the Go?
Ma sound is the next step above.
But for approximately the same price you can get two Gos. The stereo option is superior to a single MaxSound.
What about the price of new tribit xsound go? Is it same ? Or comes with a bigger price point?
By the way, the upgraded XSound Go is 16 W.
It's actually 14w as listed in the manual.
@@JaysStraightUpReviewsmine's 16 watts.
Can you pair the surf to the go?
No...altec and soundcore have those type of speaker paring options...where you can pair two different models
How long it will last in full volume?
We ride bicycles four hours in manhattan full blast with the new "tribit xgo 16w" and it is fine, could even go longer.

Is it a gunslinger in the wild West? 😆
