What an honor to sit down at the bar and listen to Ritchie Blackmore
Just saw Jeff Beck a couple weeks ago. He was awesome. Bucket list!!
I've been listening to your music for over forty years now. You're still amazing. Thank you.
Blackmore, Beck and Page.......Guitar Gods.
the best ones along with Iommy
@@selenaayala5840 Yes Tony Iommi - King of the Heavy Riff
And Iommi?
@@jairovilla5161 Tony Iommi was the King of Heavy Riffs
Jimmy Page was in the biggest band but he is not in the class of RB, Beck , Iommi or a lot of others.
Gallup , Holly , Moore all god's of Rock guitar , glad he mentioned em ' they'll never be matched for the fire and passion that is 50s Rock music 👍
Enjoyable and informative listening to Mr Blackmore
Page and Blackmore would make one of the greatest collaborations of all time
The cosmos could not handle those levels of energy.
@@sillysod33 still worth a shot!
@@Chuckles6042 absolutely! Can you even imagine? Total carnage ⭐️🤩
Ritchie's wig is classic.
It's a $10,000 wig. It's amazing.
I like it.
Not as bad as Gene Simmons 😅
When one is musically gifted the whole proces of developing technique, musicality etc goes on another level compared to amateur players. In one week guitarists like RB could probably play several chords with easy rhythm playing while average players need 2 months. Besides that they work by ear and listening and they are deeply determined and creative. I think the generation of RB are people who have a very refined and natural feeling especially for the electric guitar. When it comes to RB I hear a timeless minstrel even when playing in Rainbow with such refinement, focus, romantism, lyricism, fire and deeply felt playing with a lot of color.
His timing and feel for stillness is unique. A real player from the heart!
Awesome!
Richie is a talent from God!❤
Hi Ritchie
Only listening to you is inspirational, you are one of my few favourite musicians I really admire and most of all respect.
It would be interesting to know what do you think of Rory Gallagher sir.
Thank you in advance.
Greek George
I wonder if within a couple hours of handling a guitar, Richie and the other names mentioned here, could play chords and sound like they knew how to play. There had to be some divine intervention from above for Blackmore, Beck, Page, and Clapton to all be that good and all be from the same area. I wonder how much Richie misses the 60’s and 70’s when rock was king and audiences lived for their music.
Ive been practicing for 50 years and im still not as good as my next door neighbor when i was a kid. He picked up a guitar and within weeks could play anything we heard on the radio. Chords, leads and he had a good voice too. Some people are definitely born to play..
@@tomflynn2912 they are the lucky ones....
GAWD ""those"" were the days my friend... I'm STILL there! It's either that, or live in todays non-sense jibberish rubbish...Just listen to the music...Let Music be your Master ohh myyyy
@@garyaustin4733 I hear ya Gary! I wouldn’t want to be a teen in 2022.
It took them a long time to be able to play at all. That's how it works.
Great stuff! :)
Great stuff 💚😉 thanks
Love all these guys, but ritchie is amazing
All are Gods, when I was 10 i was idolizing Blackmore, Beck , Clapton , Hendrix and Page. I knew then that was what I wanted to do. I managed to get very skilled at the guitar and could play any thing they could. I ended up un a Deep Purple cover band ( we called ourselves Peep Durple 🤣🤣). I could never fully emulate Blackmore but ut did extremely well. Unfortunately I had to quit after getting carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. After surgery I unfortunately lost the hand coordination and gave up.
Deep Purple still blows them all away!
Great story 👍
Ritchie Blackmore Number One 👍🎸🎸👏👏♥️♥️
@@paolacolavecchi7423 he's fantastique
Blackmore is the unobviously the God of Guitar, best guitarist lived an will live. I found a song from sixties and I recognized the guitar player was Ritchie, he is very very uniqe, best of his kind. His left hand gives guitar life, ı can't believe is he real.
I wish someone knew what song Page produced with Blackmore and Beck. It must be unreleased.
Fantastic interview Ritchie but please upload stuff we haven't seen yet. I've seen most of the videos you've uploaded so far... 👍👍
Some newer material will be nice to see in future, but for many people who aren't the diehard fans like us, I imagine this might be the first time they are seeing some of these older Blackmore interviews. For now these videos are a good introduction to the man and his music for newcomers.
My dad played football with Richie and his brother in 1952 Ash Grove Heston dad lived in oak avenue
Beck sees the hand of the master
This era is over 😢
♥️♥️♥️
the real proviso with all of these guys is what they thought of each other at the time i.e. just when they were all innocently getting going - in those days there was more of a thing of sharing and discovery, they all admit it!. it only changes when it becomes about fame/fortune/charts/singles/etc. it goes from 'i know how to play this, watch me' to ' i know something you don't know'
Blackmore, Beck and Beer.
Blackmore is a master player, debatably the best ever. He’s on The Mt Rushmore of guitarist but he didn’t have the same song or riff quality as Page IMO.
Blackmore is my preferite guitarist all time! Togeter Page and Iommi they invented hard rock. Today metal guitarists have more musical preparation, technique they all read music very well, but they do not have the star soul of these artists of the 70s. Nothing will happen in rock anymore, it ended after these great artists ..... at least I think so .... look at what groups are rising ..... from Maneskin to Greeta ..... copies, clones .... that's all ..... there is little more to invent. .... after Deep Purple, Led Zeppelim, Black Sabbath ......
What an absolute normie take. You clearly are a boomer. Only boomers are this proud of their ignorance.
Ritchie..what can you say or did you know Kim Simmonds..as a guitarist.
Confident, but not arrogant ...!!!
In his day they learned MUSIC first. Equipment later.
Now it's all done by the equipment and sounds like a 2yr old wrote it.
Ritchie seems to really be stuck in the 70s....the 1570s.
Thank God. It's much better than caveman outfits.
Tommy Bolin-The Ultimate
Great talent. But ultimate are Beck, Blackmore,Uli Jon Roth and Hendrix
Your my boy ritchy, we should hang out, and talk about the human desasterpiece, aliens, the death myth, and about the grand fasod. We'd get along very well, fame, fortune means nothing to me. It will be diferent for you on your next step through infinity. Mj33
Facade
All those old guys would give Sam Ryder a run for his money.
In the video clip of "perfect stranger" blackmore looks like all about laughs. Here he is too serious.
I always saw Blackmore as a bit intimidating... Lol
F***nice years man.... Nice years🇦🇷
🎵🎼🎶
I want more or his occult in-sight wisdom - his esoteric side and less of his left-brain music side.
Old interview. You going to repeat all videos that already exist on RUclips or what?👎
Some newer material will be nice to see in future, but for many people who aren't the diehard fans like us, I imagine this might be the first time they are seeing some of these older Blackmore interviews. For now these videos are a good introduction to the man and his music for newcomers.
@@garyh.238 believe me all these interviews people have seen, especially fans. If you launching channel about Ritchie so make something exclusive and new, I think so.
@@elenka.svaliva2 Good point you make. I think what they are doing right now is gathering everything already out there into one place here first - just to get the channel started. I am sure there will be some new stuff - new interviews or videos of playing coming in the next few weeks.
@@garyh.238 I hope the same but...
Unfortunately Ritchie's doesn't like to be on shooting. Candice makes all these things related with social media and RUclips, for Ritchie it is not important thing. Will see what happened.
Ritchie, Y’re beter an Jimmie Page
They're both great.
Don't bring down the greats.
Yea, I knew a few guys who I thought would go somewhere, but they got lost doing or died from drugs, or got married 🤣
Jimmy should had auditioned more singers
Awesome!
