I mean, it was all part of Wendell and Dom’s strategy tho. By pretending to maintain majority with Naviti, it would guarantee Naviti players would individually attempt to work with Malolo, then Laurel and Donathan tell Dom and Wendell, who can then successfully eliminate threats within their own alliance without seeming like they are breaking it. It’s really brilliant. Basically Tony’s flipping strategy, without the risk of your own alliance turning on you.

Ppl blame Laurel for not makin a move but Laurel WAS makin moves low-key by bein WITH Dom and Wendell. It was Kellyn who could have dismantled Dom and Wendell. And the only ppl doin that Naviti Strong bs at the end of the day were Kellyn . and Chelsea and Bradley who follow Kellyn
The only problem with the season for fans/people watching is the fact that no one wanted to make a move, for me I liked the winner so I liked this season by the end of it. Plus people need to realize not every season can be insanely full of exciting events every single episode lol

I hate those type of Survivor fans. They act like big moves are the only thing that can make a season great. Forget everything else. As long as there are big moves, then it's perfect. They probably only watched Cagayan, Game Changers, and Cambodia.

I think the problem with ghost island is that all the interesting people went out pre merge.Bradley and Gonzalez were funny and could’ve been good villains and competition for Dom and Wendell,Stephanie J had a great story arc and James and Brendan were a good brains and brawn duo.Also it doesn’t help that Chris was the first person from the merge to be sent home.
Honestly, looking back at this season, it wasn’t even bad until the Jenna vote, and the finale was great... so I’m thinking of Ranking this as high as #20

There’s actually quite a few people I’d be happy seeing return on a later season. Stephanie, Bradley, Donathan, Kellyn, Michael, and Dominic were all really fun characters.
I thought this season was great. It had the first ever final tribal council tie. I have been waiting for that tie for a long time and it finally came. However I thought that Dom deserved the win just a little bit more than Wendell did, but I respect Wendell’s game and I congratulate him for it.
Dom told Wendell what to do and told him that he’ll talk to donathan for Wendell to talk to laurel. And laurel voted for Wendell really because he talked to her first when it was dom who told him to talk to laurel.

I enjoy all seasons because I love survivor but I have to agree that the editing made the episodes predictable. The editing in the new season david vs goliath actually isn't that predictable and I really enjoy it.
It was a good season. Not my favorite, but I really enjoyed it. After Michael went home it got predictable, but that was only two episodes. The finale was really good in my opinion, and I think people really overreacted to the editing.

I am sorry but that's a lot of castaways to get a purple edit, on top of them, Queen purple Chelsea, who got literally the lowest percentage ratio when it came to edit (tied with Hope from s26) and she made it way deep. I understand that the purple edit is necessary to exist, but more than 2 castaways with purple edit is really a killer to me..
sanvalentine23 underedited doesn’t mean purple or invisible. Every player other than Chelsea got their own arc, even if it wasn’t as important. Jenna and Seb weren’t meant to be big characters, they are like comic relief. Angela’s edit was about as accurate as can be. Chelsea was the only one who really had a piss poor edit, and I think the general editing of the season and it’s story was very good, considering the outcome.
The worst part was everyone being so nice and hugging all the people who told them to fuck off by voting them off lol. "best experience of my life" i think 4 of em said as they got "bye felicia" by everyone else. What a nice bunch of polite, courteous, boring and soon to be forgotten cast members, yawn
Legit I liked Morgan because she was the ONLY Naviti member to not have "Malolophobia", and it sucks she was the third boot. Had she'd not left so early she maybe would've gone rogue and either joined Malolo or tried to end the stupid Naviti vs Malolo crap. That would've made the season awesome, and it would've made Morgan have a really badass story.

I don't think Libby was robbed, but she definitely surprised me with how well she could do. I had written her off when I watched her pre-game stuff, but I actually liked her over the course of her time on the show.
I think Morgan was a very underrated player and would be my choice for a second chance season. Then, obviously, Stephanie and Dom. Morgan was my winner pick judging off of the first and second episode. I can’t remember the legacy advantage switch, did Jacob give Morgan the legacy because of a twist or what?

Ghost island wasn’t an amazing season, but it had a pretty compelling cast. There’s a ton of memorable premerge boots who I’d be excited to see return.

Bring back at least half the pre-merge people, James was my boy to win it .. Stephanie and Brendan were screwed by swaps . Then other people from the merge I wouldn't mind seeing back would be Kellyn and probably Michael but that's it for me .
As much as it was not a great season, I absolutely loved the Dom/Wendell bromance, and their strategy with Laurel and Donathan, as well as the rivalry with Noble. I believe Dom should have won. It’s a shame he lost Bc jury members took offense to him blowing up at Sebastian when that was all gameplay to bluff the idol. Michael was right, Dom deserved the win. He built their alliance with Kellen and Morgan, then later Laurel and Donathan. He was the one running their strategy basically all game. And he did it all with Chris breathing down his neck for basically no reason. Dom is a MUST as a villain in HvV2, along with Michael as a hero. And I love that Dom and Wendell played it old school, developing a strong secret alliance that would run the game, that didn’t get exposed until they held majority the rest of the game. Dom needs to return. HvV2, 2nd Chance 2, FvFs 3, all runners up, it doesn’t matter. Get me more of Domenick Abbate on my screen.
even tho Chelsea got a bad edit she still caught my attention right off the bat so I think that's pretty good statement of her as a player. that no matter the edit she still shined. I was rooting for her since day 1 and I hope she comes back and they finally do her edit justice.
I could only remember the names of about 5 people and that includes the F3. I guess I need to rewatch this season and give it another chance, but it seems I wasn’t very impressed with the cast the first time.
I think there were a lot of interesting people but the problem was the editing. They focused too much on Wendell/Dom that they neglected other players. Chelsea for example got a TERRIBLE edit even though she was playing a really good game.
While not a bad season as a whole, this was definitely one of the most disappointing seasons of the entire show for me. The concept itself as well as the promising cast definitely gave it so much potential to be a standout in the show. And although the season has quite a few good, great even, things going for it, it completely shoots itself in the foot due to the over-complication of the execution of Ghost Island while not really taking it anywhere in the end in terms of the narrative structure, and easily the worst editing since Caramoan, maybe even since One World. There are so many good qualities tho. The idea of the concept is great, the nostalgic moments of the cursed advantages did hit some soft spots for me, the winner and runner-up were great players, the first ever tie at the finale was really cool to see and certainly helped the finale quite a bit, a few other castaways that DID get enough screen time were also really fun to watch and I would like to see them play again, and some twists here and there like the split tribal at final 10 were nice touches as well. But because of how convoluted Ghost Island is in execution and the wildly uneven editing making a good chunk of the post-merge pretty predictable and shoving so many other potentially interesting players to the wayside, it brings this season down to a very polarizing and middling position when stacked against the rest of Survivor. Which is a shame because Ghost Island did have quite a bit going for it and could've been excellent.
Domenick kept Wendell until the Final 6 this is what happens. When the tie in the final vote happened I think Domenick's chance of winning was immediately over. I'm glad Wendell won over Domenick because Domenick played a very cutthroat game and this cast was dumb to realize that sooner. Domenick was a lot more dangerous than Chris. Domenick is a sissy for complaining about what happened in the first reward challenge. C'mon the eggs are very meager and they would need the fishing gear to get more food when they run out. I give credit for Donathan though even though he was the only one who voted him the entire game.

Out of 36 seasons it’s between 25-30th place
This was the only season of survivor I watched
Edit:during Ghost Island when I was in elementary the teachers did a version of survivor in the gym with fake torches and fire
Bring back at least half the pre-merge people, James was my boy to win it .. Stephanie and Brendan were screwed by swaps .
Then other people from the merge I wouldn't mind seeing back would be Kellyn and probably Michael but that's it for me .
I love how pretty much after Gonzales is voted out the malolo tribe just go down hill until merge
As much as it was not a great season, I absolutely loved the Dom/Wendell bromance, and their strategy with Laurel and Donathan, as well as the rivalry with Noble. I believe Dom should have won. It’s a shame he lost Bc jury members took offense to him blowing up at Sebastian when that was all gameplay to bluff the idol. Michael was right, Dom deserved the win. He built their alliance with Kellen and Morgan, then later Laurel and Donathan. He was the one running their strategy basically all game. And he did it all with Chris breathing down his neck for basically no reason. Dom is a MUST as a villain in HvV2, along with Michael as a hero. And I love that Dom and Wendell played it old school, developing a strong secret alliance that would run the game, that didn’t get exposed until they held majority the rest of the game. Dom needs to return. HvV2, 2nd Chance 2, FvFs 3, all runners up, it doesn’t matter. Get me more of Domenick Abbate on my screen.
Can someone explain to me what does “no vote” vote mean? This is first Season i saw people puling that off on tribal council’s
even tho Chelsea got a bad edit she still caught my attention right off the bat so I think that's pretty good statement of her as a player. that no matter the edit she still shined. I was rooting for her since day 1 and I hope she comes back and they finally do her edit justice.
I could only remember the names of about 5 people and that includes the F3. I guess I need to rewatch this season and give it another chance, but it seems I wasn’t very impressed with the cast the first time.
I think there were a lot of interesting people but the problem was the editing. They focused too much on Wendell/Dom that they neglected other players. Chelsea for example got a TERRIBLE edit even though she was playing a really good game.

While not a bad season as a whole, this was definitely one of the most disappointing seasons of the entire show for me. The concept itself as well as the promising cast definitely gave it so much potential to be a standout in the show. And although the season has quite a few good, great even, things going for it, it completely shoots itself in the foot due to the over-complication of the execution of Ghost Island while not really taking it anywhere in the end in terms of the narrative structure, and easily the worst editing since Caramoan, maybe even since One World. There are so many good qualities tho. The idea of the concept is great, the nostalgic moments of the cursed advantages did hit some soft spots for me, the winner and runner-up were great players, the first ever tie at the finale was really cool to see and certainly helped the finale quite a bit, a few other castaways that DID get enough screen time were also really fun to watch and I would like to see them play again, and some twists here and there like the split tribal at final 10 were nice touches as well. But because of how convoluted Ghost Island is in execution and the wildly uneven editing making a good chunk of the post-merge pretty predictable and shoving so many other potentially interesting players to the wayside, it brings this season down to a very polarizing and middling position when stacked against the rest of Survivor. Which is a shame because Ghost Island did have quite a bit going for it and could've been excellent.
the winner of the final challenge should be the only one safe while the 3players should do a fire making contest that would be awesome i guess
Imagine the first 8 voted out are the final 8 🤯🤯. This will be a very different season!

The merge was the beginning of the end. Before the merge the season was awesome.
Domenick kept Wendell until the Final 6 this is what happens. When the tie in the final vote happened I think Domenick's chance of winning was immediately over. I'm glad Wendell won over Domenick because Domenick played a very cutthroat game and this cast was dumb to realize that sooner. Domenick was a lot more dangerous than Chris. Domenick is a sissy for complaining about what happened in the first reward challenge. C'mon the eggs are very meager and they would need the fishing gear to get more food when they run out. I give credit for Donathan though even though he was the only one who voted him the entire game.
The only season where the final vote was a tie. That's why I prefer the final 2 over final 3
