5 Potential Supernote A5 X2 & Nomad Accessories

- The past 4 months I've been quite enjoying my time with the Supernote Nomad and learning the intricacies of the software. When the nomad was first teased in the fall I saw the pogo pins hinting at future accessories. It wasn't until I got the device that I started seeing how some accessories could be integrated for the A6/A5/A4 X2. These are some really cool ideas. I flip the cover over, but could see someone who leaves it over utilizing the solar concept. You do make me wish I kept a lot of my old gadgets, after all I am a bit older than you. 😂
Thanks for watching! I've always kept my favorite tech but there's definitely some stuff I got rid of that I wish I kept! What was your favorite gadget growing up?
@@VladimirKostek this is interesting to think about. Since I was pre home computer, I would have to go with some different gadgets maybe. I loved the etch a sketch and I'm not even sure what they were called but there was a gray background and a film. You would write on them with a hard stylus and the pull up the film to clear the drawing or text. You would push the film down and start over. Calculator watches were also a big thing for me, and I always wanted an Ironman watch.
I remember those! I used to love calculator watches like the Casios, I have a calculator pen in that box actually haha.@@Change-1820

I'm forever putting my pen to the Supernote only to discover I'm writing with the highlighter tool. Got me thinking how nice it would be if the pen could in some way inform me which tool was enabled. It would only require a pin light displaying different colours, each representing a tool and all powered with a small watch battery.
That's a good point, on that note perhaps they could use a similar tech to what the galaxy line of phones does with the s-pen where it already detects the pen on screen when you hover above. It could show you what pen you are on before you press down. I like the button idea too and there is precedent for this like the Lamy pen with a button or the scribe button that has one too.

I'll definitely make a vid just about supernote pens and DIY ones, if it can be adapted to it I'll give it a go. Working on my supernote nomad review right now 📘

What about an optional folio with a built in low power LED light that can be folded above the full side edge of the Supernote. It could be powered via the pogo pins. This could give the functionality of a front light that is often seen as a major deficiency in the Supernote.
Absolutely, supernote has told me they are working on accessories. I'm hoping they or some 3rd party company will make something like that!
Light pen is great idea for a Supernote EMR pen
When I get some ceramic tips I'd love to try and adapt those to my light pen. Like I mentioned though I'm sure they could do a much better redesign of this that would focus the light better on the writing surface 🔦
Solar cell folio case would be the ultimate Supernote company mission - write forever powered by light. I would put it on the outside, to charge when I am not using the Supernote.
That's true haha, no need to replace the nibs either. By a window would certainly be a good way to have it too!
