man, i wasnt trying to be nasty... i was just trying to show a little love to them in the sense that as far as i am concerned they were always there grinding... doesnt matter to me about studio albums... i have loved them since 1988 and just love that they have never gone away... not only do they link me back to my childhood, they have just always made hip hop the way it should be made. just glad they never went away so that i can still enjoy stuff from them...

Every time somebody incredible dies its like I have to relive a tiny snippet of my life when what they did was popular. I speculate it guets scary when that reflection slows down and we are TRUE old, or when it slows way down and apparently we are totally expired and irrelevant. Today is definitely a day of reflection in my life because I LOVED DE La Soul growing up and we will miss this vital member that had a distinct impact on the soundtrack of my life and everyone I was friends with as a young person in the 90s.
