Adrian with his great melodie, making the notes feel alive in a unique way. There are no words to describe it! Their harmonics are magical, and they are surpassed by non! There have been some great guitar-duos through the years. Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Queensrÿche, The Eagles etc. But Dave & Adrian has a magic to them, which I don't think anyone else have been able to capture 🙏

I loved the whole Somewhere in Time album era, and would've loved to have seen them on tour in '86. Notwithstanding all their achievements before and since, this was their artistic peak IMHO. Others may disagree. Great stuff.
They never recorded in a professional way the tour, you can find only bootlegs. They didn't recorded this tour because of the cost it would be after doing the world slavery tour

As guitarists ,Dave Murray and Adrian Smith compliment each other's styles and frasing perfectly .In my opinion this is when Maiden was at it's finest . Janick Gers is a good guitar player - but his solos are a little samey for my taste. Don't get me wrong - he puts his heart and soul into a live performance .But with 3 guitar players ? It's a case of too many cooks spoilng the broth.....

the tune is originially from a childrens show in the 80's . the tunis called 'walking in the air' (nightwish covers it too vocally), dave and adrian simply called it walking on glass. google it. so far many versions exist.

It sounded like Synth but it’s actually the GK250ML amps they embraced for that album and your. The Chorus in the amp has 3D sounds.

I agree, however I grew up in that era (1980's) and then, they were better than most, and incredible to see live. My generation were fortunate.
