Nothing like making everything all sticky from the antifreeze spilling all over the place !!! That definitely looked like a pin in the ass !!! But determination got it done !! And if you had patience to figure out the wiring on your car this isn't a biggie !!! Nice work !!!
Just came across this video. Great tutorial, I have a question, what is the adaptor on the end of the ac pressure line that connects to the ac compressor? My high pressure line is smaller than the opening on the compressor
Last day i was trying to check cooling system. Everything looks good on my E60. But the compressor is not connected n cant find the air wire or connector at all. . Can you please make a quick video about it

Hey I have the same car but my compressor isnt working always some times I have to restart it many times till it works and some times I have to flush the fans with water then it will start cooling I dont know what is the problem but once it works it will be too cold and thats what I want and btw I live in country with 50 c degree in the summer
The radiator shouldn't affect the air conditioning at all. I'm not sure it could be an electrical problem in the controls. Sorry it's hard to diagnose things over the internet
Don't know why y'all keep saying he has to use the blue stuff there is green that is universal and it is compatible with BMW that's not to be confused with the original green because it's not compatible
@@DecosGarage Yeah, I bet. I had to send it to the shop smh. I didn't really want to deal with the coolant system. I've had headaches dealing with that on my 3 series.
I cannot believe you did not vacuum the system prior to charging. That open system has air in it that is not compatible with R134a in an A/C system. I won't even comment on the exhaust work. This video had to be a joke.

I'm guessing you know nothing about this vehicle lol show us where the compressor clutch is The e60-61 IHKA system uses a variable displacement A/C compressor for the entire model run, 2004-2010 model years. The IHKA module, modulates a pulsed signal to a sylenoid valve, located to the rear of the variable displacement compressor. If you examine the pulley hub assembly, all you will find is a rubber damper assembly connecting the pulley hub assembly to the compressor, no electro magnet clutch assembly. The compressor is running whenever the engine is running. The IHKA senses load conditions when A/C is called for and adjusts the compressors output accordingly
Holy crap I love this guy!!! What you should have done was weld a bomb under that damn bmw. I have a 2010 e60 in immaculate condition 64,000 miles and the son of a Bitchin car always has something going wrong with it. Now the damn ac won’t stay charged ... just out of the blue shit happens to it . I’ve had it for 8 years barely even driven the piece of s-t.
