  • As February Half-Term gets underway, this years' running season also kicks off at the South Devon Railway; bringing steam back alongside the River Dart with the first Weekend of services in 2019.
The railway operated their Blue timetable in the hands of the resident Pannier pairing: L92 and 6412. Full advantage being taken of the latter's Auto-train capabilities, as 6412 worked three Autocoaches along the line.
    Locomotives:
    Ex-GWR 5700 'Pannier Tank' Class - L92 (5786)
    Ex-GWR 6400 'Pannier Tank' Class - 6412
All footage filmed on Sunday the 17th of February 2019.

Everything about SD Railway looks immaculate, the Stock, the Scenery and Infrastructure. I Just Love an Autocoach Combo, this one being Absolutely Awesome 🤩 The over bridge Silhouette of the Wheel sets, Couplings/Hoses and under frames of the Carriages is Railway Modellers Gold 🏆🏅Many Thanks for uploading 🙏🏻👍🏻

Good to meet you at Buckfastleigh on Sunday and I am pleased you found the Dartington location I suggested. Have a look at my video of the days action and my subsequent film covering just the autocoaches. Keith

Nice to see them running. Unfortunately the W.S.R. is not.

Do they still use the old Routemaster buses?

I believe it is owned by, or at least leased to, the railway to use for a shuttle service.
