Früher wurde man als Tuner ausgelacht wenn man solche Lichtdesigns hatte..heute staunen alle drüber und da kann ich nur lachen. Tolles Lichtdesign macht noch lange kein gutes Auto.

@@crospotter13about first two week of december they dont know for sure because of covid, but this is car order by dealer already in production (they gave me nice discount for 2020 model not 2021). When order car to production then you must wait about 4-5 month and there is no discount that big. (Sorry for my english)

I have an love this car, but the designers at Seat forgot to illuminate the heat and volume controls on the bottom of the entertainment screen !!! to me with all the other lights is a big oops !
Hyundai i 30 N line has much much better driving feeling but seat Leon fr is more beautiful. So you have to choose. Driving feeling or beutiness?

Parfaitement réalisé la signature lumineuse arrière est un bijoux. La SEAT frappe fort 💪🏽 marque son identité dans le milieu de gamme des grands marques. Ont regrette un peu l’assis qui nous semble être ferme. Malgré la encore une super ambiance à bord avec les légendaires LED qui sont maintenant religion, dans nos intérieur.😁

i have one, but not the FR one, it mean that I don't have the interior LED my front look less agressive, and I don't have exhaust at the back , but it's still an amazing car, I like it so much !! (my model is the Urban one, if you are curious)
i don’t suppose your car had the strip on the rear light or was it just two side ones
@@jensonfoster5401 the only one that has no strip at the back is the eco one, the cheapest version, never seen one IRL in 4 years in france

Been seeing a lot of these with broken led taillights, usually they are pitch black on one side and the other is on.. is it a big problem with these?

You saw that on new 2021 model? Because it’s on the market only for few months, and I don’t see many models on the roads yet
LED lights last a very very long time so there should be no problems at all
@@crospotter13 sounds like possibly parking lights, if you activate your turn signal and turn the ignition off but leave lights on it will usually put all the lights on at one side

thanks for the comment :) Not sure about the company, but design was created in Barcelona Design LAB, and they probably have some tech companies helping them to get their vision to reality, but not sure which are those :)
@@crospotter13 Well it is still a VAG auto so could be German.
Looks like standard VAG tech for me. First brand from VAG using an OLED brake light band was porsche, they developed it. The running turn lights were developed by audi and are now standard among nearly all VAG cars. The Leon itself uses the MQB platform that is used by the Audi a3, vw golf and the seat leon. Differences between those cars are based on certain design elements (minor) and interior material choice. But all in all its pretty standardized. Part providers for VW are big corps like Prevent (seats and interior material), Bosch (motor management), osram (specifically the lights you asked for), continental (infotainment/virtual cockpit/body control units) etc.

Previous model looks better, especially the front. Gone from sporty to merc A class look and it doesn't work for me. Back lights look well but old front end is far nicer looking
This is the FR Sport, not the standard FR. This has the wraparound lights....that don’t really wrap around, they don’t extend past the front door handles. And they also have a pulse blind spot warning which FR doesn’t have.
No it's definitely the FR. In Europe they don't have the FR Sport trim- FR is the top spec in Europe unlike in the UK where top spec is Xcellence.

Clearly this is going into the wrong direction. I drove one of them, you can literally change nothing without clicking through the f*****g menu on the touch screen. And this purple string right in front of driver's face... A nightmare.
You can do everything you need while driving from steering wheel buttons or using voice control.
