I emailed morebeer a few weeks back about the x2 coming to the UK and they said they don't have a retailer in the UK to sell them through. Hopefully this changes so we can get one 😢
Regarding the floating dip tube 2:00 I've discovered the filter floats enough on it's own that I don't need to use the steel float ball at all in my kegs.
Looks like a decent piece of kit. I currently have a grainfather conical pro and have been toying with the idea of an upgrade to a unitank but couldn't really warrant the spend. Let's see what this is like. I saw from your video that heating is taking care of from a heat mat. Is cooling taken care of by the two tri clamp ports on the side? I assume i would be able to connect this to the grainfather glycol chiller by using appropriate tri clamp plates and hose?
Hi John, certainly I am very impressed so far. Ive been using my GF glycol chiller with it, via the adapter kit. Works well and the cooling sleeve is much bigger than the GF conicals widening the volume you can cool nicely.
Soooooo many toys in the toy shop these days. Thank you for update. I've ordered the ingredients to try your Bitter ESB this weekend :)
There sure are! Enjoy the ESB 🍻🍻🍻
As always great info and well expressed with great economy of time
Glad you enjoyed it Dave, cheers 🍻🍻🍻
Interesting indeed !
Thanks David
Cheers Allan, much appreciated :)
wow, some really great stuff here, I look forward to seeing the price in the UK. Thanks David, this was really well put together.
Thank you Alan. Yes, really good quality stuff for sure.

This will be taken care of by European distributors.
Thx for the overview. I wonder how to upgrade the grainfather adapter heater to one with more juice like the one from brubuilt or brewtools
Cheers. Thats beyond my skill set sadly.

Great, thanks for sharing this information 🍻🍻🍻

@David Heath Homebrew with the grainfather expansion kit do you use the grainfather heating pad from the kit or the brewbuilt one ?
Cheers!
I have just used the Brewbuilt one connected to a temp controller. I just use the glycol chiller at the end of fermentation to cold crash.
Nice 🙂
Great to hear, thanks :)
David at 9:21 is that normal speed or sped up?
There is a small speed increase. 10% I think.
Oh wow! so there’s still a lot of action going on then. I don’t get to see this as I have a Grainfather Conical.
Oh yes, its fun to watch but also useful 🍻🍻🍻
