hi scott i have been noticing ur tatoos and as a indian i will like to inform u to remove the tattoo of god shiva , he is a strict god and not forgiving as jesus . as alcohol n other stuff r not allowed in temples and sacred places and one body is also a temple thus making shiva picture on it is welcoming an element of shiva in u , he has strict rules and lifestyle that his devotees follow like celibacy , vegetarian diet , drug free living etc . he is also the god of destruction .indulgence in sex , meat eating n alcohol n stuff is disrespecting him n will bring bad blessings or other mental or health issues in ur life. remove his tattoo respectfully unless u study about his rules and devote urself. u may have put his tattoo in innocence and naivety but if u r not sure just find a hindu temple and ask the priest about this matter. u have been cautioned . i hope u understand not all gods are same.
Six years sober on July 16th here…the insomnia sucked ass…but everything else is pretty awesome…You’re a rockstar, Scotty…you got this!!! This world needs some Scotty♥️Jax babies…imagine how fun those kids are gonna be!!!
I'm sorry but that's pretty parasocial of you, you don't really know him lets be honest. A recovering alcoholic is not a great basis for being a father, that requires much more time and discipline if you want to do it the right way. This isn't his first time trying to be sober, its harsh but its true.
@@pittbier7597 calm down, this is a positive and supportive space and that wasn’t the only reason that makes me think that. I didn’t say he definitely would, I have an opinion. Relax.
@@kaitlynb2261 I think its irresponsible to cheer on being a father when hes obviously not in the right mindset at the moment, hes got things to workout himself. That's fine and i'm not denying he could be a great father in the future. However, i don't think your "positive and supportive" attitude is the right solution.. And that's my opinion, i guess we just disagree.
I’ll be three years sober in August, and it continues to be amazing. I’ll never get tired of hearing other people’s stories about sobriety. You have all the support in the world from me Scotty!
Today was my first day of no weed after 2 years of chronic use, im taking this video as a good omen!!! I pray you find what it is you want to become in this life scotty!!! Appreciate all the smiles along the way!🕺🏼
I’m in the same boat. Learning that discipline is a greater force than motivation against depression. Take your time, one step at a time. Gotta crawl before you walk and walk before you run. Someday maybe we’ll learn to fly. But all we have is now. I just hit 2 months clean! Love Mister glassman btw. Your art rules
Has someone who's followed your videos and listen to your music ever since you were in the vlog squad house the first one with the ping pong balls lol. I've always been able to relate to you and heath the most, so seeing you go sober gopher is amazing. Today i am 801 days sober and i know its the best decision ive made in a long time. Keep up the positive vibes scotty you got this, and gove it time those mental hurdles and the anxiety with sleepless nights will eventually get easier.
I've been a bit judgemental because I feel I could see through all of the positive youtube videos you put out. I'm so glad that you are recognizing this problem within yourself, and I hope you know you're not alone. This is the first time I've felt I could genuinely connect to your message, and I appreciate it.
As a struggling alcoholic who suffered from Alcohol Delirium just at the beginning of this year, and watching you since 2017, this was huge on me to watch. If that makes sense ❤
Such an emotional watch for me. I've been feeling exactly the same way as you and you really opened up my mind about this topic. You're awesome Scott !! Delicious in Dungeon is peak
Happy for you! It does get better and there are support groups that are helpful to continue on your sobriety journey and find more peace and contentness within yourself ❤❤
Please keep going! I love your music and content! Fans don’t just want to see a wild time. Emulating healthy behavior and self-treatment makes those who look up to you want that in themselves! So proud as a fan for many years. Xoxo
good work man! i could feel your genuine, sincerity in this video and i appreciate that honesty. its not easy, drastically changing your years of routine behaviour, but nothing thats worth anything will ever be and its really gratifying to prove to yourself that you can discipline yourself to get to a new you and see the world from a different perspective
Never let anyone invalidate your experiences with mental health! People can be so uncaring about this, especially towards men! You’re doing a really great job of navigating the cards you were dealt. Also, your unique strengths and weaknesses are what make you special.
You can overcome it again! I'm 3,025 days sober after overcoming multiple addictions and it does get better. However, those bad days can still pop up and they can sometimes be hard to navigate. The key is to take it step by step and day by day. There's no need to set yourself unrealistic expectations or goals. It's possible to achieve sobriety each day you wake up! Try to think of it like that if you haven't already. I'm launching a community/program today for anyone struggling with addictions to attend. I created it after realising how important a support system is when you're on your road to recovery and while sustaining your sobriety. So if you're ever having a bad day or would like to chat with a couple people, you're more than welcome to come along :) You can do this!
I relate to your journey with alcohol so much. I started drinking right before a very big lose in my life. I drank to grieve, I drank to forget and to rid myself of negative emotions. I drank to release the burden of social anxiety and gain the “ability” to socialize. But that turned into drinking to feel drunk. That’s when I realized I had a problem. I’m not quite to the point where I’ve cut drinking out completely. But I’m not getting drunk everyday like I was 6 months ago. It’s not easy. Especially since I have realized I have an addictive personality. It really is inspiring to see you’re working on yourself too with alcohol. Much love to you and I hope the best for you Scotty.
I’m sure this is one comment amount hundreds saying the same thing, but your openness and honesty with yourself is going to carry you a long way. I’ve watched since 2017 and have always loved your content but especially these last few years. Proud of you even though I don’t truly know you, and I wish you luck on your journey!!!!🎉🎉
I’m gonna be so honest. It’s 930 am and I just took a shot. I’ve been doing this for a while. Fall asleep drinking alone, then I wake up hungover and take a shot just to “start my day”. I’ve been trying to get myself to stop for about a year now and it’s felt like an easy idea but not easy enough to ACTUALLY stop. Alcohol never really felt like an addiction till now. Even days I try to stop I find myself taking a shot just because. Lots of rambling but I just wanted to say i needed to see this so thank you Scott. Hearing your journey has definitely helped to not feel alone and that it is possible. It’s really as easy as just STOPPING. So seriously man, thanks for making this video. First video I’ve seen from you and I’m so happy for your new start on life! Best wishes
Good for you Scott! You will make the best dad! You kinda remind me of my dad...not that you're old, we are the same age lol you just have a lot of the same qualities, same humor. My dad stopped drinking a few years before he had me. ❤
Good job Scotty! Keep it up! I’ve seen what alcohol can do, and in the end, nothing good comes out of it. One thing I wish you would stop doing is being so hard on yourself. Find contentment in all the things you’ve accomplished brother. You should be proud of yourself. And you have an awesome companion in Jac. Keep it going bro!
I'm 8 and 1/2 years sober from all substances and was a very heavy user myself! I have children and did at the time and they were my push to do better and then eventually I understood I needed and wanted to do it also for myself. Sometimes when you do it for other reasons other than yourself it doesn't last so you have to be selfish and say you're doing it for you because you want to be there longer for your children, maybe because you want to have children, because you want to feel healthy, you want to sleep better, all these things! It's not easy but it is still worth it and you should be super proud of yourself! Surround yourself with people that are going to continue to encourage you to continue on the path you're on and cut out people that don't support you in that! I think that is key and recovery and also changing your surroundings and things that remind you of drinking or might trigger you to want to drink! Sometimes it's necessary to do those things to be able to change people places and things for your own benefit! Congrats and I hope to see you continue on this journey! Also just as a pro tip your first year of recovery is the hardest! If you can tough out the first year while your body is literally trying to figure out what normal is, what normal is supposed to feel like, then you're going to realize after that healing phase mentally physically spiritually, then is just dealing with your regular life curve balls! Life is not always easy but it's about finding the coping skills to learn how to get through it without turning to any substance! Also the other thing is if you find that you're not able to sleep in your first year of sobriety it's really important to talk to your doctor about that as there are non-addictive sedatives or sleep aids for night time, even natural remedies, that can help you sleep because sleep is one of the most important things that your body needs in order to heal and is a vital part of your recovery process! Most people are unable to sleep in early recovery because your body has been so used to not being in a deep healthy sleep because you were using alcohol or substances to depend on sleeping better and that was not the healthy way to do it! It's better to use something for sleep that is not addictive than to not and it affecting your body and way worse ways by not sleeping! I have been on a blood pressure medication that has helped me and my sobriety for sleep! There are so many different things out there that can aid you in a better sleep! ❤
Loved this vlog Scotty. So happy you are putting your health first. Also, thanks for showing the meal prepping part. I'm getting married soon and we're hoping to start meal prepping in our new home.
My husband and I are 30 and he is a little over a year sober. It was really hard for him as well to not feel “normal” when going out but he is able to put stronger focus on the things that matter in his life and working on his mental health. Keep going. It’s hard but your sense of normal will start to reflect the positive change you are making. Don’t forget about your physical and your mental health!
Thank you for sharing this! I have struggled with alcohol for years and I too was sober for a while and thought I could go back to casual drinking and got myself right back into a bad habit! This time it feels harder for me but I know it’s the right thing and will get better! More people need to talk about alcoholism and the negatives because it’s so normalized now it’s hard to go out anywhere without someone drinking!
So proud of you, Scott! 💐 Thank you for taking us through your journey; it takes a lot of bravery to do this! I think, if you ever want a family, you will be a awesome dad. This would probably shift your perspective and possibly help you continue to not have a reason to drink anymore. I really hope this perspective helps!
I am 1 year and 4 months sober. Don't smoke or drink now and it's the best feeling ever and has helped me so much mentally and physically. Proud of you bro
Scott, you are doing so much better for your body. I am so glad that you are doing this for yourself. Depression sucks but alcohol definitely doesn't help that, ignoring it will never solve anything. I really hope that you find your way out. I have been in and out several times, but I am in a much better place now. As for having kids, it is the best thing you'll ever do, I have no doubt you will be an amazing Dad!
I've been watching you since I was a kid when you first started and yes I haven't watched much vlog squad in a couple of years but you've always been my favorite and Breaks my heart they're going through this we're all here for you and if you were to have kids I think you'd be the greatest dad in the world keep the bloodline going haha love your work and you keep it up ❤
You need to keep up the good work and also realize that anyone can drink but its not good for anyone. You look so healthy and feeling better is so much worth giving it up.
The first few months are the hardest. Once you get past the cravings and withdrawal, you feel amazing! After a while you won’t want to go back to drinking because of how great you feel! Keep it up! You’re doing great things for your health. I’m 3 years sober and it’s been the best decision of my life!
Good job! It’s hard to break a bad habit. I had a problem with smoking weed until I got pregnant and then quit cold turkey. It’s amazing what we are capable of when we don’t make excuses for ourselves. Wishing you success on this journey. Hopefully it will teach you self control and moderation and you’ll be able to enjoy a drink here and there without over doing it. You are in control, not the alcohol.
thanks for watchin guys!
